Germination
my first grow in about 2 or 3 years. had some unsuccessful plants but i'm hoping that will change this time. using the good ol paper towel method of germinating the seeds. I have everything setup and soil coming in on wednesday so it should go smoothly. day 4: planted them directly into FFOF soil. I've heard this soil is bad for seedlings but in all my research there were many people using it for seedlings with no problems.

Tap water is 400 ppm, I add about 50 to that. watering it with 5.8ph water with added goodies, no nutes yet. should be good. day 12: they are really starting to take off day 13: moved them on top of a tote so they get better light

Plants seem to be really taking off. im going to top them after the 3rd node, 4th node is already showing but its too early. day 15: starting to see some new growth nodes popping out day 16: may top them today day 17: plant on the right is twisting for some reason day 19: topped them. they are showing variation maybe this is within the species or maybe its poor qc, we'll see how the buds turn out day 20: they're showing no sings of slowing down despite being topped

hole showed up today. wondering if this looks like a pest did it or if its something that just happens from time to time. I read that holes can appear in leaves when there isn't enough potassium, but I'm feeding with molasses so that shouldn't be an issue.

Honestly, it's not something I would worry about at all.. in fact, I've got a couple of those same holes on one of my ladies - I've ignored them and there haven't been any further holes... Catepillar holes are much larger and not so easy to miss... and the holes multiply daily... and other insects (thrips, aphids, spider mites, whiteflies) don't actually chew the leaf so that a hole is created... I've not heard that a potassium deficiency would produce anything like that either - but even if it did, your molasses is more than adequate... No worries! Good luck!

day 29: plant on the left has produced some trichomes overnight, hopefully this isn't a sign of stunting like I've read. they are looking better and perking up after a defoliation. day 31: flipped them to 12-12 last night. worried they will get too big for my tent

leaf tips are dying back, what is the cause for this? leaves are curling and twisting too, could it be from too much light?

Hi. So, I seen u growing in soil.. When feeding with nutrients you aren't leaving any excess run off to be soaked up? If so. This might be the cause of it. Your soil is too hot either way. I wouldn't hard flush. Just leave her eat out what's in the pot for the next wk. When feeding with soil.. 1 feed a wk is enough and you can then give enzyme feeds (no ec, r salts) but just the 1 feed a week..Good luck pal.

day 38: starting to see pistils day 39: non glandular trichomes showing up on both plants' leaves day 40: plant on right is stretching more then plant on left. she's 20 inches tall day 41: they are drooping for some reason. probably because its a chilly 61 degrees in my grow room. they are perking up after a watering. they were dry.

Hard to say.. but a pH in of mid 5 is wayyy too low for soil. Get it up around 6.5 This was my issue with FF trio. Tiger bloom is great but it absolutely tanked my pH to problematic levels

2-3 weeks probably.........when your plant has 95-99% brown pistils, you will be in the harvest window.

The trichombs are defently close. They should start to be amber very soon Most are looking milky right now so you are very close to harvest. I have played with harvesting early and late. I notice a different effect of my product, when I manipulate harvest times by watching the trichombs. My two cents. Happy budding.

i would chop them. if you are not sure, chop the tops, and a wait 3-4 days and looks the lower ones. chop the top buds will give a boost to remaining lower ones :)
