meneerGreen KPS 2 (60 x 60 tent) 10-7, I placed a seed for germination using the coffee filter method; I took it out of the fridge a day earlier to acclimate. 12-7, I put the seed in the rockwool plug; it had a nice little root, so I'm giving it some nutrients since there's nothing in the rockwool plug. I’m providing an EC of 1.0 (including the EC of the tap water, which is 0.4). Additionally, I’m giving it some Root Stimulator, 0.5 ml per liter. 14-7, today I transferred it to the mini Hydro setup where it can become a nice little plant; it’s about 3 to 4 cm tall now. Yesterday, there was nothing, and today suddenly it’s about 3 to 4 cm—it can grow quickly. 15-7, today I removed the seed cap from the lady; it was sitting pretty loose, so I helped it a bit. I also poured some water over the pellets from above; I take some out of the container it’s in and pour it back in from above. I’ll do this all week. 18-7, today I topped up the clay pellets in the net pot, not all the way to the top yet, but that will come later when I transfer it to the bucket. 21-7, today I placed a small fan for some movement, both for the plant and to circulate air because it’s quite warm in the cabinet with those high temperatures outside, so it’s also a lot warmer inside the house.

meneerGreen Week 1 (22-7 to 28-7) Watering: +/- 200 ml + a new bucket +/- 1.5 liters. Temperature: 00 at 00 (lights on, lights off) RH 00 at 00% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.0 pH: 5.6 22-7, Watered from above for the last time, the roots are now in the water. I'm going to lower the water level to just below the net pot, up to a maximum of 1 cm below the net pot. I don't have much space in the growing bucket, so that's why. Later, when it goes to the bucket, I'll set the water level 2 cm below the net pot. As for the watering, I made a new bucket of water on 27-7; the water was a bit warm and the pH had risen, so I made a new bucket. It's probably just for a few days, but better safe than sorry.

EC: 1.1 pH: 5.9 to 6.5 The pH is still a bit tricky at the beginning, but it will stabilize soon. Once they start flowering, it will get more difficult, but I’ll dive into that a bit more. 30-7, today moved to the tent, the light is hanging at 60 cm and the lux meter shows 7100 lux, the light is set to 40%. 2-8, today topped the lady. Not much else to report, but the growth is definitely there, so no complaints.

EC: 1.3 pH: 5.8 August 6, The SCROG net is set up, it was needed again because she's really taking off, I'm keeping the light at 40% until Thursday. August 9, Today I removed the first leaves, a few big ones, to be clear. August 11, Today I tied down the first shoots, set the light to 50%, in about 3 days I'll raise it to 60% and next week I'll set it to 70%, I'm keeping the distance at 60 cm for now. Also today I switched the timer to 12/12, earlier than last time because we know how that went, so I'm switching a bit earlier this time.

meneerGreen Watering: 11 liters. Temperature: 30.4 to 24 (lights on, lights off) RH 66 to 55% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.3 pH: 5.7 to 5.8 This week I regularly tied down some shoots and removed a few leaves. August 13, today I hung the lamp at 40 cm and set it to 50%, the lux meter reads 14,000. August 18, today I set the lamp to 60%, the lux meter reads 19,000. Furthermore, this week I replaced a couple of liters extra to cool the water a bit, but I didn't really benefit from it, so I'll have to live with it until it gets a bit cooler. The water is around 30 degrees; I know it will be fine and that they aren't really affected because in the greenhouse during summer, the buckets were regularly at 30 degrees or even a bit more, and those ladies didn't have any issues either.

EC: 1.2 to 1.4 pH: 5.5 to 5.7 This week I regularly secured some shoots and pruned leaves. Also, on the last day (25-8), I set the lamp to 70%, everything else is going smoothly. You can see that I've only filled in the silicapower for the nutrients, this is because I give powdered nutrients and I can't fill in grams for that, so I only fill in the liquid nutrients, not the base nutrients and the PK, but I do that when possible according to the manufacturer's schedule and also a bit by feel 😉.

meneerGreen Week 6 (26-8 to 1-9) 3rd week 12/12. Watering: 9 liters. Temperature: 29.2 to 24 (lights on, lights off) RH 65 to 50% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.5 pH: 5.3 to 5.6 This week I regularly pruned leaves and secured some shoots, also (unfortunately) broke a tip, which couldn’t be saved and that was a shame, but luckily there’s enough left so I won’t really miss the tip, but it is still a bummer. I had to add pH+ again this week to keep the pH in check, I’ll keep doing this until I replace the bucket with one that includes the PK booster, which I estimate will be in about two to three weeks. On 27-8 I set the lamp to 80% with a lux value of 32000, I forgot to note or measure the height of the lamp, so that will be for next time.

meneerGreen Week 7 (2-9 to 8-9) 1st week of flowering. Watering: 11.5 liters. Temperature: 28.7 to 24 (lights on, lights off) RH 71 to 55% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.3 to 1.5 pH: 5.4 to 5.8 The values are reasonably under control, especially due to the addition of pH+ regarding pH, the EC was a bit lower this week but that will be fine, just a matter of giving more nutrients, right? This week I removed leaves once and also some small shoots, I learned from last time and this time I'm trying to stay on top of it and create space and light between the plants early on. On 5-9, I set the lamp to 90%, lux value 64000, distance to lamp +/- 30 to 35 cm (tops a bit uneven in height).

meneerGreen Week 8 (9-9 to 15-9) 2nd week of flowering. Watering: 14 liters, 4 liters + a new bucket. Temperature: 27.3 to 23 (lights on, lights off) RH 73 to 65% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.3 to 1.9 pH: 4.8 to 6.3 This lady is doing well, there are some fluctuations in the values but within limits, so I'm not worried about it. At the end of this week, I replaced the bucket (I mean the contents) with a bucket with bloom booster addition, added to the 10 liters, 1 ml silica power, 5 ml Calmag, 10 ml hydrogen peroxide, 7 grams powder feeding, 3 grams PK booster, I didn't add pH- because the pH tends to drop anyway, and I was right about that because the pH started at 6.6 and a day later it was already at 5.5, so I could already add pH+.

meneerGreen Week 9 (16-9 to 22-9) 3rd week of flowering. Watering: 13 liters. Temperature: 26.2 at 20 (lights on, lights off) RH 75 to 64% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.5 to 1.8 pH: 5.4 to 6.6 I've let the EC rise a bit this week and I'm trying to keep it around 1.8 to 1.9 for the rest of the grow. The pH fluctuates a bit, but I'm used to that with hydro; this week the pH values were below 6.0 three times and above 6.0 four times, with a peak of 6.6. Also this week, I pruned a lot of leaves again; this will probably be one of the last times I take off so much. I might trim a bit here and there now, but it won't be as much all at once anymore.

EC: 1.6 pH: 6.1 I can't complain about the EC and pH, they were nice and stable this week, and the pH too, and I didn't have to add any pH- or pH+. Further this week, I removed some leaves, and that was it. Next week I'll trim a bit more, and then I'm done, just another week or 3 at most 4, so let them ripen nicely and cause no further stress.

EC: 1.7 pH: 5.6 to 6.1 Just a few more weeks for this lady, unfortunately had to remove two buds due to bud rot, the RH kept rising and at one point it was 77%, I had already ordered a few dehumidifiers at the beginning of this week and installed them in the meantime, the RH has now dropped to 63 to 64% and that's going in the right direction but I would like it to be a bit lower. But I'm glad those little dehumidifiers are doing well, whether I can save the grow with them I will only know when I go to harvest, but to be honest I'm not very positive about it, but we'll just wait and see.

EC: 1.7 to 1.8 pH: 6.0 Just 1 or 2 more weeks for this lady and I'm happy about that because this week I've dealt with bud rot, I've already had to remove 5 buds partially or completely and I could save very little from that, so most went straight in the trash, really unfortunate, and as I said, just 1 or 2 more weeks, so I'm afraid I might lose even more. I'm going to set up a little heater next week, the small dehumidifier I have in the tent does help a bit but not enough, the RH has dropped below 70% (averaging 67 to 68%) but it's still too high, so let's see if heating it a bit will lower the RH.

Too bad about the top rot. I'm also dealing with a bit too high humidity of 70% during flowering, maybe a dehumidifier is an option. But still nice with the 1 gram per watt. Beautiful grow!
