Jungle Lava is a potent sedating indica strain which will is quick to alleviate stress relaxing the body and mind leaving you relaxed and dreamy. Plant has started out well. She popped up with her seed husk still attached. So, she stretched a little. Thankfully I got to her quick enough.. wasn't expecting for her to pop so quick. She did get a germination. And was planted with a 1.5cm tap. Seedling Day 0-3 Plant is doing really well. The soil is still nice and moist from when I heat treated it for any larva or anything else that might have had a chance to lay eggs. So, I'll add nutrients in the coming days after I've applied her 1st dose of bioenhancer. Will start off with a low 3-400ppm feed for 1st couple of weeks and all adjust ppm with calcium and Epsom Salt to bring to desired level. Am going to apply Green House Feeding Mineral line. Plan on a 6-7 week veg. Will be topping above the 5th and usually I remove the 1st set of nodes if its going slow. As she's indica mostly she should take well to been topped and should give a nice structure when applying LST. Will be using my new SP 3000 as well as my new IR/UV 45 sponsored from marshydro (will go into how to use it when, I myself get a better knowledge of when to use it. I do know. Started her on a very light dose of Grow from Green House Feeding. Looking really nice and healthy. Am going to keep the feeds light. Will be uppotting her soon and moving them under my SP 3000. (Just waiting on tent.) But won't let it go past more than another 2 days before I uppot. Veg Day 9-14 plant is doing great. Very healthy. Have gave her grow, calcium and bioenhancer this week. Been good growth. Looks nice and healthy. Been keeping all feeds in the 450-550 range. And I've been able to raise the RH in this tent up to 70% so should hopefully get a move on and growth should pick up some. VD21 Can already see the difference the last 24hrs has done with increased RH/TEMPERATURE. This week I'll up the CO2 hopefully to the 800 range where the ppfd will be. Plants have really taken off this week with the RH+Temp risen to a more suitable level it's at to getting nice and big. Took some main fan leafs to allow light to hit the lower nodes, normally I wouldn't bother doing any defoliation but as the leafs were so big and covering all the growth below. Am Also going to apply LST And help it to form a shape while she sprouts in the pre flower stage. She's really healthy and Am going to be applying IR/UV at the last every hr before the lights go for for the dark rest. Going to get push it to 12.5 hrs of flowering. I know you can do 13 and still get your plants to go go easy enough through flowering. Am running some of my autos thru 12/12 just until I get my 120x60 and will also be upping my co2. And as soon as my other tent comes I'll be able to run my autos on an 18/6. But for now I'll just be juggling and taking out a few plants every 6hrs and what I still want to veg out a little longer.

Welcome to my Jungle Lava Diary. Finally, flipping time has come Day 50. I've also set up my UV/IR45. (been reading up some about when is best to use and so on. But still a long way to go before I get the full benefit out of it. Lots more reading and studying to do) man, the difference already is unreal. You'd thin these have been flipped about a wk+. Its been 3 days since pre flower started, really can't believe it. It's crazy how fast the process is. This wouldn't even be up after a week. She has grown nice and bushy and you really can already see how well the IR has increased leaf growth, its amazing. I've never had fems this bushy and with so much growth and that is a wk ahead already. Think I'm going to have to stretch this girl out. She has so many nodes and inters that are huge. Crazy shit I'm going to readjust my LST ties and focus hard on spreading her out. I won't be doing much lollipoppoing as the point of the IR is to reach deep down into the lower ends of the plant to produce more flower (bud sites) by stretching your plant allowing more light in and make it easier for the growing process. Your not assured of extra yield due to making her stretch but as you don't have to lollipop you can control her growth and LST where needed. Info on the UV/IR45 So, I've read up about how to use far red to make my plant go to sleep quicker. (As you need 10 hrs of darkness to sex a plant and it takes 2hrs or so for it to go to sleep, so by using far red 730nm before and after the plants lights comes on you get a 26hr day if that makes sense, how you ask. Cause far red used at the right time can change that time of 2hrs to 5mins to put your plant to sleep. So In turn you get them 2hrs that it should of took to put your girl to sleep, you can now use them 2hrs to keep your females under longer, so you use them 2hrs to give your females extra photosynthesis. I say would of got nice big colas had I not left the IR light on too long at times and them stretch a little. They are super healthy. They get fed twice a week. Their 3 base nutes at the them water, cal+Epsom salts. And then all the bloom, boostets/resin enhancers, and then come the enzymes. Still on a 13.5hr lights on and 10.4 with 5 mins of IR 730nm and then the 5 or so mins takes to sleep. I've caught it wrong a few times. Or let the fat red run for up to 1hr more once on its own. But as there was no photosynthesis going. Idk if the ,IR tricks the plant into thinking blocked out by light. As there is no photochrome ative light. Welcome to my Jungle Lava Diary. Sponsored by Original Sensible Seeds. Days 71-77. Over fed by just a tad and has shown it's face on 1 of my nodes. I only went up by 100ppm in Pk Boost but was too early that, and i also had to flip to short flowering. Pre-flower is 100% over. Hasn't put on a lot of foliage, not what I should of gotten. So I took too much off at the start. She's getting trimmed tonight as this is the next step I'm following from GrowWeeeEasy, the link is on my 1st week of the flip. Have been feeding her just water to curve the overfeeding during the week. Lesson learnt. I switched to short flowering powder. So, the booster or SF powder needs to be lowered. As always when my girls are done under the IR they go straight into my dark room. They get moved at night. So no PPFD hits them at all. Have to be lucky, as I'm pushing it very close, as if I'm not careful I'll throw her into reveg. Or stress her. As a few times. I've messed me with timings. Have to get digital timmers. But, I still gotta be there to remove my flowering females. And run my tent runs around 450watts an hr when everything is running, costing me a small fortune with a veggey tent running at 200watts an hr and the dehumidifier that runs 6hrs a day at 280watts an hr. So defo hitting a kwh an hour. Or beyond. That, and the Pure Epsom Salts was too much I guess. The IR has been regularly used to allow my flowering be now 14hrs now except from 13.5hrs. Really has pushed her much quicker. THE UV also I've been using. 2-4hrs a day. 5 times a week. I'll start to push that to everyday and 2 regularly 2hr sessions within the 14hrs of Flowering. If you grow Fems I highly suggest you use an IR far red. U suggest the new IR/UV45 has a large coverage area. And is extremely versatile. Needs at least 1.08 in. Works best with the FC but, I've strung it up and have adjusted with string. (I use string as it allows me to move the 2 bars to different parts of the canopy). She took an excess stretching from using IR wrongly. To plants that didn't need it. And I defoloated wrong also. Trying a new method. I did it to late. And early into pre flower which I think messed her up her process. Buds/colas will be well. Not what I planned on. She's too tall. 20cm shorter I think she'd look much better. Atm I'm using it in my 100cm2 with great affect. And gives me more room than the tents that are mostly out there, (that are good) is 120x60cm2. She got fed another mix of base nutes by mistake. And I burnt her. With Triton. 'Overdrive. Was a mistake. Didn't flush the GHF properly. Should of just increased the PK booster. Buds are fat. Shes well into ripening. I'm not expecting any mad fade. As she's burnt. But, nearly about ripned. I have been feeding her with just water this week. She's yellowing up. Looks a lot like burn. But, she's just coming to end of life cycle, "at least in her soil".. not gonna get much more out of her. IR was used with lights on during pre flower. She is an indica. She should be 60cm max. I've used the IR & the UV with great success might I add. It really is any fem growers must tool in your arsenal. If you know about DLI. Then this increases your DLI by a good 10-15%.. Or how every it works. Have also used the SP 3000 with it, from Mars Hydro. And, has kicked ass. Has been a very easy light to use, with a wide range of plants at verses stages, was a treat to use. Grew long and really well. Bit to well. She grew really tall by using my IR during pre flower she took a massive stretch. But, all in all. Id say its more than a successful grow. The strenght of it alone deserves 10☆. And the amount of burn/lockout and the potency of her, Is mind blowing. Brief smoke Review. I took 1 node & quick dried in my electric tent dryer. Has a lovely sweet cake smell. Touch of sugar or something with that. I'm sure the cure will bring more out of her, and I'll be able to finger her sweet notes more. Taste wise, she's got a lovely unique earthy profile, that is wrapped up in a sweet bow. I've not yet gotten her true scent/taste, as in quick dried it is nowhere near the quality of slow dried properly with a couple weeks cure at least. 60 or so days flowering. My IR/UV 45 from mars hydro was used to increase her flowering time from 12hrs to 13.5 for pre flower and 14hrs on for fattening. EDITED 1 WK AFTER DRY AND A FEW DAYS CURE. HAS DEVELOPED A LOVELY ORANGE/TANGERINE ZEST. has its earthy musk which is slowly been bled out by its sweetness. Absolutely gorgeous.
