10th Planet - ETHOS Genetics (Diary #6)

Had my share of speed bumps in this grow. The 10th Planet held up against the many stressors I threw at her but my two Dark Star hermed and C99 threw bananas so I've got to do a better job keeping stress down. Two phenos, one was short, one tall. Shorty smells like blueberry muffins, tall girl has that artificial candy grape nose. Gassy and spicy skunk. Both have absolutely beautiful colours and are covered in trichomes. I'm drying low and slow keeping temperatures below 18c and humidity between 45-55%. May take 10-14 days but could be faster as the room humidity was in the high 30's for the last few weeks of bloom. Updates to come as the flower is dried, trimmed, weighed and cured. Happy New Year indeed! Update: After 6 days of consistent temperature and humidity, the temp spiked to 24.5c and humidity dropped to 31%...AT 4 AM! Makes no sense. Should've been the coolest at that time. Anyway...things feel crispy now sooo I guess I'll start trimming her. Update: 244 grams flower, 90 grams sugar leaf. Found 5 seeds while trimming...hope the buds aren't filled with the things...

10th Planet was a joy to grow this time around. She grew vigorously in veg and bounced back from topping quickly. In bloom she stretched to just over double height. The lateral branching from topping her held up well against the heavy tops. I tied the main opposite branches together for security but nothing toppled. Out of the two seeds, I got two very different phenos. The taller pheno is definitely the keeper and I'm kicking myself for not cloning her. Medium internodal spacing made for lots of light penetration to chunky, dense, frosty flowers all the way up her multiple mains. After 5 weeks of veg and 59 days of bloom, she produced over 8 ounces of mouth watering, nose tingling smoke.
