Potted up from Solo cup to 2 gal fabric pot. Watered and fertilized after potting up on 12/03, 4ml calmag, 2ml micro, 2ml grow, 2 ml grow.
Watered and fertilized on 12/07, 4ml calmag, 2ml micro, 4ml bloom, 4ml recharge per gallon, gave 1/2 gallon, drained through, but soaked up within 30 minutes.
Pistils appearing on the lower nodes on 12/09. FIMed 12/09.
FIMing doesn't appear to be slowing her down. Also, been tucking the big leaves under the smaller leaves to expose more bud sites.
Super thick veg, cutting out nitrogen. Used LST to open up the plant and expose the center.
Watered and fertilized on 12/14. Fertilized at a rate of 4ml/gal each of grow, bloom, and recharge. Gave about 1 qt of water, drank it all, nothing in the tray after 30 minutes.
Noticed bleaching on a few leaf tips, raised light by 2 inches on 12/16.
12/18 - Looking droopy and dry, feeling light. Gave a quart of pH adjusted water, drank it all. Water needs are greater than expected. Need to start watering more frequently.
Watered and fertilized 12/19. Gave a qt of water with 4 ml CalMag, 4 ml grow, 4 ml bloom, and 2 ml Recharge per gallon.
12/21 - Gave a quart of pH adjusted water, drank it all again. Defoliated to remove dried bottom leaves.
12/23 - watered and fertilized, same as last, defoliated some of the fan leaves.
12/25 - gave about a quart of pH adjusted water.
12/28 - starting to see trichomes appear. Watered and fertilized. Gave a half gallon mixed with nutrients as stated above.
12/30 - gave about a quart of pH adjusted water.
1/1 - watered and fertilized, gave 0.5 gallons
1/4 - trichomes starting to cloud up, may fertilize once more, then start the flush
1/5 - watered and fertilized, gave 0.5 gallons
1/7 - starting the pre harvest flush, gave a half gallon of water at pH of 6.2
1/10 - flushed again, gave a half gallon of water at pH 6.1, starting to get some amber trichomes
1/14 - cut out most fan leaves, getting ready for harvesting. I think the second flush was too soon/too much, caused some trauma and some leaves were drying up. Won't give any more water from now to harvest. Might harvest tomorrow if I can get the dry room set up.
1/15 - dry room set up, will chop her in the morning.
Easy grower, really grew faster than I expected. And it stood up to my abuse, from FIMing to LSTing to defoliating and even over watering a couple times. Once the conditions were good again, it kept going. I don't think the HST slowed it down at all.
My only complaint is the lack of smell. It really doesn't give off much. But the scent is pleasant, fruity, citrusy, hoppy.
Looking forward to drying, curing, weighing, and enjoying.
Super fast growing, just 59 days from seed to harvest. It surprised me from day 1, popping in just 12 hours. The transplanting from cup to pot and pushing out fan leaves 6 inches across.
The Last couple weeks, it seemed like it stopped growing, but the flowers swelled up and got frosty, even seeing some amber trichomes. I really liked that the leaves turned purple. I grew a second White Widow Auto beside this and it didn't get the purple leaves.
Both plants had the same schedule throughout, from germ to harvest. The only difference was the medium. This one was grown in Happy Frog, the other in a homemade mix of Coco, vermiculite, perlite, and bone meal. I was surprised by how well the other plant did in my homemade mix. It seemed the Happy Frog held water a bit more and the plant ended up with a thicker trunk.
This plant weighed in at 6.9 oz, the other at 6.15 oz. Not sure what the bud weight would be. One blog suggested 20-25% of plant weight, so I estimated 1.7 oz for this plant and 1.5 oz for the other.
I like using Grow Diaries, how easy it was, and how it keeps track of everything so I can review and make adjustments for my next grow.
