Dec 6 - Day 8
Continuing to water with about 100-150ml ph'd water daily for now. The first leaves are a tiny bit burned at the tips (noticable since day 6) and she's a little slanted today, but fine otherwise I hope. Will be keeping a close eye on new tips.
Dec 7 - Day 9
Same treatment. Thankfully, the new leaves don't have burned tips so far. I wonder if the initial few waterings/mistings with rainwater were the problem.
Looking back at my 1st diary, this one seems to be as mature as days 11-12 previously. As this is a bulk/white-label seed, I can't really assume this fast growth is due to breeder/quality. So, I'll credit the current medium, current lighting situation, and/or better PH'd water. Or maybe it's due to the strain, which I'll be able to compare with 2 more seeds in the future. Whatever the case, I'm obviously pleased. π
Dec 8 - Day 10
Just continuing light watering.
Dec 9 - Day 11
Hectic day and missed pics unfortunately, but was able to at least give her a quick spray.
Dec 10 - Day 12
Routine 100ml - 150ml PH'd water. Will likely give her first thorough watering very soon. Her new leaves are definitely much wider than my previous grow, I guess showing her indica curves.
I've forgotten to mention previously that since sprouting, she's had a tiny humidifier very close to her. So hopefully, her RH is higher than the ambient that I'm recording.
Dec 11 - Day 13
First feeding. I'm not really sure why I chose today other than it just felt right. Mixed Veg fertilizer (20/14/13) at 25% recommended strength (~1/16 tsp into 1L) and fed with ~750ml mostly around the drip line (~6.25ph). This is a bit more aggressive than my first grow, but she's also in a larger pot with of mostly coco (rather than soil) so I think that merits the increased volume. Also, 2 cheap 28W LEDs were also turned on for the mature plant she's sharing the tent with. Will be keeping a close eye on her due to these changes. ππ±π€
Dec 12 - Day 14
Just rotated and repositioned slightly for more a bit more light exposure.
I hope those aren't nanners in the last picture. Worried my bulk seed Trainwreck from NASC could be a boy one day and ruin things for me. It's listed as feminized on their site though.
I was also a bit worried after taking that pic but after recently harvesting my previous plant, which didn't have hermie issues, I noticed very similar growths on her. So I don't think it's harmful. Possibly just plump baby calyxes.
Edit: I think this is a good article about what we're seeing: https://www.maximumyield.com/definition/282/calyx
Looking real nice! I'm on my 1st ever grow and my seedlings sprouted just 6 days before yours. I'll let you know my fuck ups since I'm a week ahead π€£
Enjoy it!
