May 28th: Fed all of the plants this morning.
May 31st: All of the plants are showing signs of light burn so I moved the lights up so that they are all at least 24" from the plant canopies. I can always take the ViparSpectra light out of the tent if it becomes an issue since the MarsHydro light says it can cover my 4'x4' space in bloom. There is also some yellowing/rusting of the sides and veins of some of the upper leaves surrounding the main colas on both the Industrial Plant Autoflowering CBD and the Ripley's OG. The plants were thirsty this morning so I just gave them all a nice drink with water PH'ed to 6.5 and let it run off to about 15% just to be safe. All of the plants are on Day 38 (except for Industrial Plant Autoflowering CBD who is on Day 39).
June 1st: Turns out being lazy and not taking the time to PH my runoff water this whole time came back to bite me in the ass a little bit -- lesson learned! I tested it on a whim this evening and it was 7.0. From the advice I got online (here and r/autoflowers) and in person (my local hydro store owner is a really smart old head), it seems like there is enough nutrient lock-out going on that I should be concerned. I was told to give it another feed with some increased strength on my nutrients (from 1/4 to 1/2 strength) + full feed of Cal/Mag + PH the water down to 5.8-6.0. I did that this evening and I'll take some pics/videos tomorrow or Saturday for an update and to give a better idea of what the problems look like.
June 4th: Raising the lights so that they are both 24+ inches away and flushing with PH'ed nutrient water at increased dosages seems to have done the trick. Both the Industrial Plant and Ripley's OG still show some signs of deficiency/lockout from the PH issue. It's something I'll keep an eye on. I have noticed an odd thing with the Seedsman White Widow Auto... when I check on her in the morning she looks plenty healthy and is stretching -- but when I check in the afternoon or evening, she's always drooping. The medium is still nice and damp less than a knuckle down. What could be causing this?
Tight I'm not the only one running the Widow and Ripley from the Seedsman bundle! I'm amazed at how much better the freebies did than the Fastbuds genetics I actually paid for lol
I'll have to concur with several other posts here. Your diary is quite detailed, I like it a lot. Can't wait for this bad girl to be up for the monthly voting ๐
@DabCrab I think it was a combination of factors. The first being that about 10 days ago, my area was going through random power outages for 2-3 days. There were some extended periods of darkness which caused temp to go down and humidity to go up. I was also skimping on airflow. All I had for airflow before I noticed the rot was a small clip fan up near the top of my tent and my fan for my carbon filter on low. The 3rd factor was the main cola and that side branch nug being CHUNKY. It was so fat and just kept stacking more bud. Apparently that coupled with the other factors make for perfect conditions for mold. I turned my carbon filter fan up to medium-high and added a 18" oscillating fan on medium. That seems to be holding humidity at 43-53% and temperature at 68F-78F. Next time around I am going to leave my lights on 24/7 because that will keep the conditions more favorable and stable.
Nice 1 mate was checking your grow I thought mine we're behind in there growth but mine are at the same stage yours was at week 5 my tallest plant is 22inches but there weird these auto have got one that's grown like a indica but leaves look sativa and look like a completely different plant then what it is compared to other Ines have got growing yours look really health they look nice happy growing pal
@SsS_SsS good eye! i checked it out and sure enough, the main cola had mold all inside the lower half of the bud. after i finished inspecting the plant i found more mold on a larger side cola. i cut out all of the infected areas and added an oscillating fan to my tent to try and increase the air circulation. My heart sank cutting off that fat main cola but it was for the best. I definitely will have to invest in some temperature/humidity control stuff for my next grow; that seems to be my biggest enemy in the space I have.
@420_liquidsun Thanks! I know I am always looking for as many details as possible when I look at what other people are doing so I try to jot down what I can remember.

@TheLastDaburai, Hah, thanks! Yup I definitely couldn't resist those free Ripley's OG beans on Seedsman. I've heard mixed results about freebie, bank-brand, autos from these various seedbanks. This being my first grow and all, I figured I'd try out their White Widow since that strain has never let me down before. It's a little fussy when it comes to its nutrients but I can't complain about much else at this stage. I really wanted to do an OG grow since I have PTSD and I have found OG strains to be a nice balance of what I need medicine-wise throughout my day. Therefore, I couldn't resist the Ripley's OG freebies! I have never run any FastBuds before. From what little I've read about them, it seems to be the flip of a coin with regards to success.
@CBD_Sweden Thanks. I will also be curious to see the dry weight of IPACBD when she's all done because she has huge, thick buds that just keep getting fatter instead of ripening (not complaining). She is my favorite smelling plant in my tent, that's for sure!
Looks good man. Found this diary because I've got an industrial plant that has just popped. Be interested to see if I have any similar problems. Yours is the only diary for this strain.
lovely harvests u got there man! 30l potz๐ช for great yieldz i would say im tryin a green crack in a 15l now cuz the berry ryder of last was a bit too big for continuous repetition... keep your thing๐
