1/1/2023 - Light defoliation on more mature clones before flip to flower / Light defoliation on Sweet Zenzation Seed & Lst to shorten her
1/2/2023 - Updated diary with the rest of the strains in the tent, might as well. So will update on all of these throughout flower as well.
1/2/2023 - Turned up light to 230w & moved up an inch or two.
Shiskaberry is very susceptible to mold, have had a couple bits of mold appear on my top layer from MINOR overwatering.
But this mostly seems to be in seedling / small clone / VERY early veg stages.
I've only had this happen to the mother once when young, and one clone in tent.
Cleaned out any that I saw let dry and proceeded like normal with no more issues.
A cause for concern if I keep this as a mother plant, however not entirely TOO much of a big deal for me.
It's pretty dry here right now & it seems like a good smoke, so I will at least keep her til Spring / Summer.
My mother doesn't face this problem anymore as being so big in a 3 gallon she uses her water very quickly.
On a positive note, she bounces back pretty quick from repotting from Rapid Rooters.
Not quite as fast as my Sweet Zenzation, but she grows a hell of a lot faster than my Sweet Zenzation.
Momma Shikaberry grew to like 2 feet in 2ish months, the oldest of these clones have grown to almost a foot in under a month.
I plan to start 12/12 at the end of this week. Some plants are much shorter than others,
But we'll wing it. This is my first experiment with clones and I didn't have a tent's worth ready at start.
That being said, I will be happy with any outcome I get 😁
Growing is about having fun and trying things! Try something new!
Russian Auto is approx about 3-4 weeks in flower.
Didn't date when I dropped her, but seeing as she's forming budlets, I'd say 3-4 weeks flower.
Hey @majinglue, great diary!
Thanks a bunch for growing our Russian Auto, and sharing this diary with us :)
We hope that it was a nice experience, and that you enjoy the harvest!
Have a nice weekend
