After the girls sprouted, I took the dome and heat pad away. Added a second T5 light(for extra light, but more so to compensate for the loss of heat from the heat pad. Added a tiny fan to blow across the sprouts to stimulate stem and root development. Also added a couple of sheets of aluminum foil to the tray to capture as much light as I can. Soil is still saturated, so I don’t anticipate them needing anything for a few days; at which time I’ll just give them some stump tea. The first couple of waterings/feedings will be applied with a spray bottle so as not to displace the seeds.
Gave the girls their first drink on the morning of day four; water and stump tea. Also added a clip fan in front of the screened main vent to bring a little fresh air in. On day 6 I hung a wet paper towel in front of the fan to raise the rh. Here in the northeast growing in the winter and having forced hot air heat can pose a number of challenges. I’ve managed to keep rh consistently above 55%. So, one week in the books. Probably looking to transplant into 5gal bags in a week or so.
