Welcome to my new dairy :) i was gifted with the grow caps for the competition....good luck everyone!
We have a beautiful new USA strain from DP, thier genetics always impress me! Excellent flavour & frost 😍
So here we are with a week old Lemon Zkittles 🍋🏳️️🌈 she germinated within 48hrs & sprouted 24hrs after that, potted in light potting soil for the seedling stage & will be kept under my 70W diy COB light💡until she's ready to be potted in the ground :) she seems happy atm :) sorry about the lack of photos but they will get better the bigger she gets 😍
We've had growth! Lol Not much to say when they are so young lol no nutrients added yet as the soil has enough for 2-3weeks :) she's chugging along very nicley, slowly getting her used to the british weather so she doesn't get too much of a shock when she goes in the ground 😊
Starting to see a real difference in her growth now, wont be long before she really takes off 😍 repotted her into a 3 litre pot to ler her spread them legs 😜 she was potted in tomato soil for a little extra food, this should last till i get her in the ground with the Grow Caps 😁 she's now being left outside to get the best from the sun 🌞 Now's the time to get a comfy seat for this ride lol
So here we go, she was topped at the 5th node & has had some explosive growth since the transplant (15cm), she must be loving the natural sun & tomato food lol she's going in the ground next week,so she can really spread those legs lol can't wsit to try these Grow Caps! 😁 wish me luck!
YAY she's finally in the ground 😍 the Grow Caps are so simple to use, just mix 1 pack to 11 litres of light soil & water 30% less....WIN WIN!
So she was put in the ground, with recycled soil, 2 packs of Grow Caps were mixed in (20l) & BOOM she's off!!
The weather has been awful this last week, high winds & a months worth of rain in 2 days! Not sure how that's going to effect the plant as ment to be watering 30% less but we will see :) fingers crossed she seems to be happy for the min 😊
She seems to be a happy girl in the ground, bushing right out :) a few leave yellowing but we've had no sun & lots of rain so just going to keep an eye on that, got to let the Grow Caps work thier magic 🌿🎉🌿🎉
Well what a week, the weather has changed to cold & miserable but the Lemon Zkittles seems to be enjoying life in the ground :) The yellowing has stopped so the Grow Caps are working their magic & in full action now! :) she got a supercrop while i was visiting, one top snapped off but she should recover well :) amazing growth in just 1 week, I'm excitied! 😁
She still growing without any problems at all :) I'm hoping she finishes on time! she's been supercropped & defolliated to try give her the best chance for flowering :) put a polytunnel over the girls ready for the winter to kick in, was a bit of a squeeze!!!
Shes growing very nicely, happy & healthy girl outside :) she got a 5L watering yesterday so that should do her a week with 30% less watering from GrowCaps 👌 i know i wont get huge amounts off this girl but she was put out pretty late & i was just dying to try this strain 😍 she's been supercropped & defolliated before she hits flower, she's just started showing her pistils so wont be long before preflower set in 😊
These GrowCaps are kicking arse! She's extremely happy & healthy & in pre-flower now 😊 weather dropped shitty this week, cold nights and humid days is not making it great for my girls, I've made adjustments to the tunnel, I've taken the mesh out from the windows & made a gap at the bottom all the way around to allow more air flow through as one has signs of mould already :( so I'm a little worried about Zkittles getting mould but she's just an experiment & i really wanted to try the strain 😊 so fingers crossed!
The girl is in full flower mode now & looking beautiful! 😍 we've got a couple of rust spots, yellowing & purpling on her leaves indicating she needs Cal-Mag & possibly Phosphorus but I'm just going to let the GrowCaps do their thing...this is a test after all! 😊 she's really starting to stink to high heaven now, strong lemon fuel smell 😍 I'm soooooo excitited now! 🤩 I hope you all enjoy! This girl is still going strong outside 👌 she's flowering perfectly for temps as low as -4 this morning! She's a happy & healthy little girl, all seems to be doing well, not had much time to even look at her this week with harvesting but she's chugging along nicely 😍
She's budding up nicely now, GrowCaps are doing their thing pretty well, no major issues with her :) sorry for lack of photos I've been so busy harvesting the other girls, i forgot to take any lol so her smell is changing from lemon fuel to a lemon sherbet smell, i can taste the rainbow already 🤤😍 i dont even care if she doesn't make it to harvest, i still can't wait to try her lol
She's budding up beautifully, found one bit of stem rot on her, which has been a big problem in my greenhouse, I've been dampening the rot with peroxide to kill off the spores to try hold it back but like all of my girls, im pretty sure if the rot starts spreading to the buds she will get an early chop! I've already pushed this strain to the limits with how late i put her outside so I'll cut my losses to get something 😊 there's only 3 little ones in the tunnel now so hopefully there's a little less humidity 🤞
This is her final week outside, I'm battling the bud rot bad with her so I'm chopping her early to save what i can :) the smell & THC on this plant is out of this world, absolutely amazing!! She really does smell of Zkittles with a slightly lemon hint 😍💚

@HighTV, thanks mate :) the weather cant make it's mind up last week it was down to -4 today lows are at 14° lol apart from 1 bit of stem rot she's doing pretty good in the cold, time will tell whether she finishes okay or not lol
@BigDaddyK, thanks buddy! I've actually just cut all the mesh out from the windows to allow the air through coz I'm already struggling with mould on my other ladies :( i have super cropped them touching stems but i can only visit them once a week so can't keep on top of training as mich as I'd like but I'll give tying her down a go :) thank you for your advice mate 💚
@Boos_Buds88,just keep the airflow going , she puts on too much leaf , the smoke is amazing , I wish you every success , you will be rewarded for your attention 👍 where she is touching the net , can you move it a little away ?
@PharmaZ, no mate this is my first time growing outside lol its a garden grow so been able to look after them well, done a fair bit of homework before i started, picked hardy strains, mixed my own soil, lots of training & the girls have just loved it! 😍
@PharmaZ, no never even grown outside before 😂 it's a garden grow so I've been able to look after them properly :) i done alot of homework before the adventure, picked hardy strains, made my own soil and the rest has been a breeze! She's just had water & 1 fish mix feed with lot's of training! The results so have have amazed me 😁
