With this grow, my goals are as follows:
- Grow two mother plants and keep them in the grow tent and within veg.
- Take clones to grow out in the tent.
- Place the clones outdoors to flower when the time comes.
- Test both plants clones and see which one I enjoy more.
- I plan to keep the plant I enjoy more 'indefinitely' as a mother plant for clones and will place the other mother plant into flower when the time comes.
12/24:
-Seeds planted directly into substrate after ~18 hours in a 3% peroxide/water soak, until the seeds sank.
12/25:
-Watered with tap.
12/26:
-Watered with tap.
12/27:
-Watered with tap.
-Expecting to see seedlings germinate/breech the soil from tomorrow until the 30th.
12/28:
-Watered with pH'd tap at ~6.6pH.
12/29:
-Watered with tap.
12/30:
-Watered with tap.
-Both seedlings have breeched the soil.
-Will water once more tomorrow and then no water for 2-3 days before starting Veg. Week 1.
12/31:
-Watered with tap with some Great White added in. Very little.
-Both seedlings are now erect and growing above the soil. One has removed its' seed coat and the other has not.
-Will update again next watering or if anything changes.
-Happy New Year!
1/1:
-Other seedling lost its' seed coat. Both are starting off strong! 💪
1/3:
-Watered both plants with a small dose of each nutrient listed at ~6.6pH.
1/4:
-Changed lighting schedule to 17on and 7off to better suit vegetative growth and better outdoor transitioning, for an attempt at a Spring harvest.
1/6:
-Watered with pH'd tap at ~6.6pH.
1/9:
-Watered with pH'd tap at ~6.6pH.
-Planning on their first transplant. Either in a week or so, or when I begin to see roots showing at the bottom of the starter pot, whichever comes first.
1/12:
-Watered with nutes shown above at ~6.5pH.
-Roots are beginning to show at the bottom of the starter pots. Will be transplanting to much larger fabric pots before next watering.
1/15:
-Roots were appearing through the bottom of both nursing pots. Transplanted both plants into 3 gallon fabric pots sprinkled with some Great White.
-Watered into new pots with dechlorinated tap at ~6.6pH.
1/18:
-Watered with non-pH'd tap water.
1/19:
-The plants have resumed growth.
1/21:
-Watered with nutrients listed above at ~6.4pH.
1/24:
-Watered both plants with dechlorinated tap water.
1/26:
-Topped P2.
-Will potentially top P1 tomorrow, or once I noticed some more height.
1/27:
-Topped P1 and attempting to clone it with the topping.
-Placed in starter pot with some Clonex, removed all lower nodes and leaves. Keeping it covered with a small plastic cup.
1/29:
-Updated pictures after topping and first clone attempt.
1/30:
-Watered with the nutes listed above at ~6.5pH.
2/1:
-Noticed Plant 1 was showing sudden signs of a problem, more than likely a combination of stress and nutrient burn. Will be holding off on causing anymore stress in the meanwhile.
2/3:
-First attempt at cloning has failed. Next time I will ensure the cutting is a bit larger before attempting to create a clone. I'll more than likely attempt a new cutting in a few weeks.
-Plant 1 seems to be slowly healing from the previously encountered stress/issues.
2/5:
-Watered plants with nutrients listed above at ~6.6pH.
2/7:
-Plant 1 is still showing some signs of stress, even if less than before. I'll keep a close eye on it for the next few days and report any changes.
2/8:
-Watered with pH'd tap at ~6.5pH.
2/11:
-Watered with pH'd tap at ~6.6pH.
2/12:
-Updated photos.
-Defoliated and LST'd Plant 2.
2/14:
-Watered with nutrients listed above at ~6.4pH.
2/15:
-Attempting a new clone from P2. Covered the clone with a cup to retain humidity.
2/16:
-Aired out clone for a cpl mins and re-sprayed and covered.
2/17:
-Watered plants with dechlorinated tap at ~6.3pH.
-Repeated to spray clone and air it out.
2/18:
-Sprayed clone and aired it out.
2/20:
-Watered with dechlorinated tap at ~6.4pH.
-Planning on a transplanting P2 to a much larger pot in a couple of weeks.
2/23:
-Watered with the nutes listed above at ~6.6pH.
-Two more healthy clones taken from Plant 2.
2/26:
-Watered with dechlorinated tap at ~6.5pH.
-Have kept the clones under a cup for humidity, while spraying them and airing them out for a few minutes daily.
-Will be placing a large hole in each humidity cup tomorrow.
3/1:
-Watered with dechlorinated tap at ~6.6pH.
-Forgot to update the week and take new pictures.
3/4:
-Watered with nutes listed above at ~6.6pH.
-Picture is from previous week since I forgot to take a new one.
