~ Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch®️ ~ THC Bomb X (Critical Orange Punch x Bubba Island Kush) One of my favorite breeders is undoubtedly Dutch Passion, I've gotten spectacular results from every one of their strains I've cultivated and, although this will be my first time with this particular strain, I'm sure this Sugar Bomb Punch won't disappoint! "Sugar Bomb Punch is a cross between THC Bomb and Critical Orange Punch x Bubba Island Kush. This ‘3-way cross’ has created the very interesting and diverse odour and taste profile. Critical Orange Punch is super fruity and the Bubba Island Kush is more earthy, sour and kushy. Both the THC Bomb and the Bubba Island Kush contributed to the potency of this new strain and the relatively fast flowering time. The Critical Orange Punch, on the other hand, has slightly increased the volume and thus the yield. Combining these 3 strains has created a new strain that is unparalleled. The combination of potency, taste and heavy yields is usually the blend that every grower wants." "Sugar Bomb Punch is an Indica-leaning hybrid cannabis strain that was created by carefully crossing different types of genetics. This strain belongs to our "USA special" family and produces some of the most potent cannabis buds you will come across. THC values are between 20-25% without too much effort. Sugar Bomb Punch shows more of a hybrid leaf structure during the vegetative growth phase. This leaf structure is somewhat thinner/slimmer than you might expect from such a relatively fast bloomer. In late growth, as well as in bloom, the leaf structure changes slightly towards the Sativa side. She remains fairly compact, which makes her easier to handle than most Sativa dominant hybrids. Her branches are strong and respond well to bending and cracking. Most phenotypes start to bud early in the flowering phase, usually after 2 to 3.5 weeks. At that time they also start producing trichomes very rapidly. After a good month of flowering the buds are already full of resin. Even the leaves seem to have been snowed under. When you touch the plants your hands and fingers stick together and you understand why we named this strain Sugar Bomb Punch. Some plants can be ready within 7.5-8 weeks, these are the fastest phenotypes. Others really need at least 8.5 to 9 weeks. Most plants remain fairly compact, so it is recommended to take this into account." "Sugar Bomb Punch has a very complex aroma. The most dominant is the fruity scent reminiscent of a sweet rose. But there are also phenotypes with a more sour, citrus or berry aroma. During flowering most plants smell very fruity and sweet. Some plants have a cherry yogurt aroma, very creamy and sweet. Once dried, the buds again have a mainly fruity and sweet character. This is accompanied with floral, creamy and berry-like notes. In terms of taste she also leans more towards the fruity side of the spectrum. Some phenotypes also have a slightly skunk-like taste, with notes of earth and grass." "Sugar Bomb Punch can grow slightly slowly in height during vegetative growth. This is because she grows in very bushy structure, compact and with a lot of leaves. That is why we recommend defoliating the plant several times during the growth phase so that the side branches and buds will receive more light. Topping or fimming is possible and will increase the yield."** **CREDIT: Dutch Passion ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~ This will be a 100% Organic grow ~ Initially seed was planted directly into the medium. ~ Planted into a 1qt. plastic pot filled with that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 6.5 ph. ~ Seed germinated for three days before breaking ground. ~ Grown in a 10g fabric pot filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite amended with Xtreme Gardening Mykos, Gaia Green 4-4-4 (2tbsp/g) / 2-8-4 (1tbsp/g) and 30% Worm Castings. ~ Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with Gaia Green slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~ Straight well water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ~ Grown under HLG 650R's with a 18/6 light cycle for vegetation, then 12/12 to flower with supplemental UVA added during the last weeks of flower. This will be my first time growing this Sugar Bomb Punch... I'm stoked! 🤩 Three days ago I planted the seed directly into a 1 quart plastic pot filled with Mother Earth's 70/30 Coco/Perlite blend which was amended with 2tbsp/g of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 1tbsp/g of their 2-8-4 slow release dry amendments along with 30% per gallon of Worm Castings. I pre-moistened the medium before placing the seed with distilled water ph'd to 6.5 @ 78℉. Today the SBP broke ground! Day ONE is here and now the fun begins! I have the lights hung approximately 38-40" above her and have the power set to 40% right now with a 15min 'Sunrise/Sunset' period. 12/22- I'm keeping a clear Solo cup over her to maintain a high RH for her until she establishes herself and am continuing to moisten her medium when needed. 12/24- Each day I check her medium and, using a spray bottle filled with straight well water ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉, I give the medium a couple of sprays to maintain its moisture. 🎄🎅 MERRY CHRISTMAS FAM! 🎅🎄 12/26- Well she made it through her first week and she looks fantastic!... it's all down hill now baby! Daily checks continue and I've now removed the Solo cup and she seems to be really be thriving... Onward to Week Two! 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Grow what you love, Love what you grow!💚 😎🤙❤️

This little girl has really taken off now and all I'm doing is keeping an eye on her medium to make sure that it doesn't dry out completely. When I do water her, I'm using straight 74℉ well water that is ph'd to 6.2-6.8 (I generally aim for 6.5). I'll be vegging her in the 1qt. plastic pot until the she's 10-12" tall, at which point I'll transplant her into a 10g fabric pot where she'll remain for the rest of the run. Also, once she has 4-5 nodes on her, I'll be topping her for the first time in preparation of placing this girl under a trellis net. 12/29- I watered her today and turned her pot... she's pretty much on 'autopilot' right now other then making sure the environment stays on point. 12/31- 🎉🎊 HAPPY NEW YEAR FAM! 🎊🎉❤️❤️❤️ 1/2- There we go...two weeks behind us now and a week of veg on the books! The next few weeks we'll be seeing the Sugar Bomb Punch really take off, especially once she's transplanted into the 10g pot that will really let the roots have a 'field day'... Big Roots = BIG Fruits! 💚 See you next week! ❤️ 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Two weeks of growth behind us and I'm looking forward to see what this Sugar Bomb Punch has to offer! I watered her today with straight well water that was ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉ until it just started to exit the bottom of her 1qt. pot. The Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch is looking absolutely phenomenal at 4 inches tall now, with a beautiful dark green color and exceptional vigor! I've got high hopes for this lady! 1/5- The routine when growing organic is super simple... keep the medium moist, but not wet and top dress every 3-4 weeks. You can also supplement with Compost Tea's weekly/Bi-Weekly or Monthly depending on personal preference. I personally like to add 1 tbsp/g of Unsulfured Black Strap Molasses to my watering schedule once a week and do monthly Compost Tea's just because that has worked well for me in the past. I transplanted the Sugar Bomb Punch into a 10g fabric pot today that was filled with 70/30 Coco/Perlite and 'pre-amended' with Gaia Green 4-4-4 @ 2 tbsp/g and 2-8-4 @ 1 tbsp/g along with 1qt per gallon of Wiggle Worm castings. After removing her from the 1qt. pot, I moistened the receiving hole in the 10g pot and coated it with Xtreme Gardening's MYCOS root stimulator and then 'locked' it in with a few squirts of water from a spray bottle. I then placed the Sugar Bomb Punch into her new home and watered her in. The Sugar Bomb Punch was topped for the first time yesterday and took it all in stride, never showing any signs of stress. She's got great color, vigor and is one of the healthiest looking plants in my run of five photoperiods that she's sharing the 4x8 with. 1/7- The Sugar Bomb Punch was watered today and did fantastic after her transplant, showing just some slight signs of stress (drooping leaves) from the transplant but her vigor and color remain on point. I'm excited to see how this girl looks in another few weeks! 1/9- I went ahead and watered today and added 1 tbsp/g of Unsulfured Black Strap Molasses to it, then ph'd it to 6.4 @ 74℉. Well there's Three Weeks behind us now and in the next few I'll be expecting to see some explosive growth happening... Stay tuned! See you next week fam! 😎🙏❤️ 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Week Three of veg for the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch! After being transplanted into her 10g fabric pot, the Sugar Bomb Punch was looking excellent for the first 24hrs. The second day she was showing some signs of transplant shock, with her leaves drooping. I went ahead and turned back the lights to 45% power and gave her a good watering of 6.4ph 74℉ well water. 1/12- Today the Sugar Bomb Punch, which is now 3 weeks old, is recovering nicely from her transplant with her leaves having perked up noticeably! I checked her medium which was still wet so I let her go to do her thing! 1/14- Yesterday I had a 'high moment' and forgot to get pictures of my girl... my apologies! I've been keeping a check on the medium's moisture content with a probe hygrometer to make sure it doesn't get too wet, or dry out. Today, I gave the Sugar Bomb Punch a light watering from the top with .25g well water that I ph'd to 6.5 @ 73℉. When watering, I try to water around the plant in a circle staying about 4-6" out from the trunk so that the roots will 'venture' out seeking the moisture. 1/16- The Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch has made it through four weeks of growth since breaking ground and before you know it she'll be tall enough to begin to trellis her... I can't wait! Hope to see you next week! ❤️🙏 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! I'm continuing my watering routine giving straight well water that's ph'd to 6.5-6.7 @ 70-72℉. I have switched from watering from the top to bottom watering, allowing the medium to absorb the moisture from the water which is poured into her drip pan. Today I watered the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch with .5g of straight well water that I ph'd to 6.5 @72℉. 1/19- The Sugar Bomb Punch was watered today with .5g of well water that was ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉. This little lady is looking absolutely AMAZING now with a super healthy color and plenty of vigor! 1/21- Today, after lifting her pot, I continued my routine giving the Sugar Bomb Punch .5g of straight well water that I ph'd to 6.5 @72℉. She has abundant new growth occurring and as soon as the new shoots from where she was topped get their forth or fifth nodes on them I'll top her again for the last time. 1/23- Today I went ahead and topped the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch for the second time. I topped off six of her shoots, and will wait and see how she looks in another week or two when I'll decide whether to top her one last time or not... we'll see! Talk about lush growth... this girl has it going on! I watered the Sugar Bomb Punch today to finish out her 4th week of veg with .5g of well water to which I added 1 tbsp/g of Unsulfured Black Strap Molasses, I then ph'd it to 6.4 @ 72℉ and watered from the bottom which she sucked up in no time at all! I hope to see you next week were she'll be going into her 5th week of vegetation! I'm just waiting for her to get taller before I install the trellis and really start having some fun with this beauty! 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Grow what you love, Love what you grow!💚 😎🤙❤️

I went ahead and top dressed the Sugar Bomb Punch today with 1/2 cup of Gaia Green 4-4-4, 1/4 cup of Gaia Green 2-8-4 and 1/4 cup of Down To Earth 7-3-1 Bat Guano (for an extra boost of N) which I worked into the medium by hand. After working in the dry amendments, I watered them in with .5g of well water that was ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉. 1/26- The Sugar Bomb Punch's medium was still nice and moist today and her pot was still fairly heavy so I did not water and just let her do her thing! After being topped for the 2nd time she really didn't exhibit any signs of stress at all and has continued to grow rapidly! I'm so stoked to see what this strain does as it's my first attempt cultivating it and I've heard nothing but great things about it! 1/28- I watered the Sugar Bomb Punch today from the top with .5g of well water to which I added 2 tsp/g of Unsulfured Black Strap Molasses, then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. The Sugar Bomb Punch has fantastic color, vigor and overall is looking very happy! 😎👍 1/30- Today I did some LST on the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch, bending/twisting her main four branches to help increase light penetration down into the center of the plant and to begin to get an even canopy for when the trellis goes up (she's growing along with four other photoperiods in a 4x8). I also removed a couple of large shade leaves that were blocking light into the center and that refused to stay tucked away. 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! I now have the lights on a 18/6 schedule and the tent environment is now on point with RH running 47-52% and a temperature range of 68-75℉ resulting in a weekly averages as follows: Temperature - 73.7℉ Humidity - 49.5% VPD - 1.44kPa I watered the Sugar Bomb Punch today with .5g of well water which I ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉ half of which I poured in the drip pan, the rest through the top. After watering, I turned its pot 1/4 turn. 2/2- Yesterday I did a little LST on the Sugar Bomb Punch, doing some more manipulation of her four main branches, which had quickly recovered from their previous training, bend/twisting them to keep her canopy even and letting ample light down into the center of the plant. Today, I watered the Sugar Bomb Punch today with .5g of well water which I ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉, half of which I poured in the drip pan, the rest through the top and turned her pot 1/4 turn. 2/4- Yesterday I watered the Sugar Bomb Punch with her usual .5g of well water which I ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉ after adding 5ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCan (Cal-Mag + Humic Acid). when I watered her I poured 1/4 of it into her drip pan, the remainder through the top to make sure that the first couple of inches of medium stays moist (knock on wood, I don't have any issues with Fungus Gnats). After watering, I adjusted some of the LST and tucked a couple of shade leaves before turning her pot 1/4 turn. 2/6- Six weeks of veg done now for the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch... Onward to Week Seven! I'll let this girl veg for another 10-14 days before I get ready to put up the trellis, and start to train the Sugar Bomb Punch's branches into it. After I install the trellis net I'll wait about a week and then flip the light schedule to 12/12 to begin flowering, when this girl will really take off! Today, I gave the Sugar Bomb Punch a really good watering from both the top and bottom with 1g of well water which I ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. She gladly drank up the water quickly, as I had let her dry out an additional day using the weight of her pot as a guide along with a soil moisture probe, which I use regularly. Well this week has been exciting, hope to see you nest week fam!😎🤙💖 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Today, I let the Sugar Bomb Punch dry out and only turned her pot and tucked a few shade leaves that were blocking new growth. 2/9- Today I decided to go ahead and install the trellis in the 4x8! The Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch is the second tallest plant in the run so after setting up the trellis I did some branch bending and spread her out as best as I could. With the rapid growth rate of this strain I'm sure I'll be constantly adjusting and weaving her branches regularly! I watered today, giving the Sugar Bomb Punch 1g of well water which I ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉, half of which I poured in the drip pan, the rest through the top and turned her pot 1/4 turn. 2/11- The Sugar Bomb Punch is doing great under the trellis but needed to be thinned out, so today I defoliated her. I removed all small growth and shade leaves starting at the bottom, leaving the top 4-5 nodes which will really help with light penetration down into the center of the plant. After I defoliated the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch I top dressed her with Gaia Green 2-8-4 and 4-4-4 All Purpose slow release dry amendments @ 3 tbsp/g (2 tbsp/g 2-8-4 | 1 tbsp/g 4-4-4), along with 2 cups of Wiggle Worm castings. I worked the amendments in by hand and then watered them in with 1g of well water which I ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 2/13- Today the Sugar Bomb Punch was watered with 1g of well water which I ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉, .5g of which I poured in the drip pan, the other .5g I poured directly onto the medium. This girl is looking really nice and I'm slowly training her canopy to stay as even as possible with the other plants in the run by either weaving branches under the trellis where possible, or bending down branches that are not quite tall enough to tuck under the trellis net. Onward to the 8th week of veg for the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch where she will be getting flipped and begin her transition into flower! 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! I watered today with 1g of well water which I ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉, half of which I poured in the drip pan, the rest directly onto the medium. After watering I did some minor training on her, tucking away a few shade leaves and moving two of her branches out into a new trellis square to continue spreading her canopy out as much as possible. 2/16- I let the Sugar Bomb Punch dry out yesterday. I checked her medium with a moisture probe and it was still very moist. Today I checked the medium again, then went ahead with watering her with the usual 1g of well water to which I added 5 ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCan (CalMag + Humic Acid), then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉ pouring half into her drip pan, the rest directly onto the medium. Overall, this girl is looking fabulous with great color and vigor! I can't wait to see her take off when she gets flipped into flower! 2/18- Today is THE day my friends! I'm setting the TrolMaster Hydro X Controller to a 12 hour On / 12 hour Off cycle to begin the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch's transition into flower! After checking the medium with the moisture probe, I went ahead with watering the Sugar Bomb Punch with 1g of well water, which I ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉, pouring half into the Sugar Bomb Punch's drip pan, the rest directly into her medium. 2/20- Well this week went by fast and the good news is now that the coming Week 9 will mark this beautiful Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch's first full week of flower! I ended this week with a watering of 1g of well water, which I ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉ after adding 1 tbsp/g of Unsulfured Black Strap Molasses and 5 ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCan, 3/4 of which I poured directly onto the Sugar Bomb Punch's medium, the remainder into the drip pan to be absorbed. Onward to the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch's 9th week, and its first full week of the flower cycle, where the Sugar Bomb Punch should be starting to begin her stretch which will really help with weaving her branches into the trellis spreading her out! 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Grow what you love, Love what you grow!💚

The first FULL week of flower for the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch! I watered the Sugar Bomb Punch today with her usual 1g of well water that I ph'd to 6.5 @ 74℉, splitting it 75% trough the top, the rest in the pan to be absorbed. Overall this girl's looking fantastic, spreading out through the trellis net nicely now. I've been training her branches out through the net as soon as they are long enough and she tolerates all the attention well! 2/23- Yesterday the Sugar Bomb Punch was allowed to dry out and today was watered with her usual 1g of well water that I ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉, splitting it 75% trough the top, the rest in the pan to be absorbed. 2/25- I let the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch dry out yesterday, then watered her today with .75g of well water that I ph'd to 6.5 @ 74℉. When I watered her, I did the usual split of 75/25 through the medium and pan respectively. The Sugar Bomb Punch is really looking fantastic and she's starting to form the beginnings of her flowers which is great to see! 2/27- Yesterday, after checking the medium, the Sugar Bomb Punch was already getting dried out (the atmospheric RH has been super low, in the 30% range) as the tent RH had dropped into the 30's so I went ahead and watered her with 1g of well water that I ph'd to 6.5 @ 73℉, splitting it 75% trough the top, the rest in the pan to be absorbed. Well there's the first week of flower out of the way for the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch. I'm sure the coming weeks will progressively get more exciting as this gorgeous lady really starts to show her stuff! 😍❤️ 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Her aroma has begun to get stronger as well and is noticeable on your hands after touching her. I watered the Sugar Bomb Punch today with the usual 1g of well water, to which I also added 5ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann, and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. I'm splitting the water 75% through the top, the rest into the pan where it is absorbed up into the medium. I also spread out a couple of her branches that had grown long enough to reach the next trellis square. 3/2- The Sugar Bomb Punch got watered today after having a 'dry out' day yesterday. I watered her with 1g of well water, to which I also added 1 tbsp/g of Unsulfured Black Strap Molasses (very beneficial to the mycorrhiza and has trace minerals), and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 72℉. I'm splitting the water 75% through the top, the rest into the pan where it is absorbed up into the medium. She's really stretching now and I was able to weave a couple of her branches out into the trellis net allowing more light down into her canopy, especially into the center section which has abundant new growth going on. I also tucked in several shade leaves to help with the light penetration. 3/4- I let the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch dry out an additional day as her water consumption has dropped slightly. Today I gave her a good watering with a full gallon of well water that I added 5ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann to and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 73℉, doing the usual of 75% into the medium and the remaining 25% into the drip pan to be absorbed through the fabric pot. The Sugar Bomb Punch's flowers are coming right along in their development and you can see a difference day to day now! 3/6- Today I decided to go ahead and top dress the Sugar Bomb Punch. I added to the medium 2 tbsp/g of Gaia Green 2-8-4 slow release dry amendment, 2 cups of Wiggle Worm Castings and 1/4 cup of Down To Earth Fish Bone Meal (for the added Potassium) which I worked in by hand and then watered in with 1g of well water that I added 1 tbsp/g of Unsulfured Black Strap Molasses to and then ph'd it to 6.5 @ 72℉. There's another week on the books for the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch! I'm really looking forward to the coming weeks when her flowers will be developing and I can really begin to see what this girl has got! I hope to see you next week, grow strong and may ALL your days and grows be Blessed!😎🙏 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! I apologize for being a bit behind on my diary entries. I just acquired a new addition to my fam... an 11w old puppy! Her name is 'Money' and I've been spending time bonding with her. Stay tuned for some pic's of her once she's gotten settled in. I started off this week with a good watering of the Sugar Bomb Punch, giving her .75g of well water, which I ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉. I'm continuing to split the water used, 75% through the top, the rest into the pan where it is absorbed up into the medium. I also spread out a couple of her branches into the trellis net and removed some small growth that was far below the canopy in the trellis. 3/9- I'm cutting back on the amount of water to .5g as the Sugar Bomb Punch is not drinking as much as she was previously and I want the medium to be able to be dry enough that when watered, fresh oxygen is pulled all the way through the medium and roots. I watered today with .5g of well water, to which I also added 5ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann, and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 73℉. The Sugar Bomb Punch is looking fabulous and I can't wait to see how her flowers will develop as this is my first experience cultivating this strain! 3/11- I skipped watering today after checking the medium with a soil moisture probe and seeing that it was still VERY moist, I opted to let her go for one more day before watering. Her water consumption has noticeably dropped in the last couple of weeks and I have compensated for this by extending the times between her watering. It's pretty obvious that the Sugar Bomb Punch likes her medium a bit on the dry side as she's really looking happy! 3/13- I ended this week with a good watering that I finally felt was needed after doing my daily check of the medium's moisture level via my Soil Moisture Probe. I went ahead and gave the Sugar Bomb Punch .75g of of well water, to which I also added 5ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann, and then ph'd it to 6.4 @ 74℉. Really the only issue I have noticed is on a couple of the older fan leaves there is some browning occurring just on the serrated tips of the leaves. I'm thinking that it could be a bit too much Nitrogen in the medium, or a CalMag issue, which is what I use the OilyCann for. For now, I've increased how often I supplement the CalMag and will see if it cures the issue. Conversely, if it turns out to be a N issue, I'll just let her ride and adjust the last top dressing quantity of nitrogen, which has already been begun on the last top dress. See you next week my friends! 😎🙏❤️ 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Today I didn't water and only did a little canopy adjustment and leaf tucking. 3/16- Today the Sugar Bomb Punch was watered with .5g of well water which had added, 5ml/g Earth Juice OilyCann and DutchPro Silica Von Liebig - Special and then was ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉. I have noticed that she's showing signs of being hungry so I will do a final top-dress on her with 2 tbsp/g Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4 and 4 cups of wiggle worm castings. I'll water it in with well water that I'll add Molasses to which will both provide food for the mycorrhiza and beneficial trace minerals for the plant. 3/18- Today I watered the Sugar Bomb Punch with .5g of straight well water that was ph'd to 6.6 @ 73℉. 3/20- I let the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch dry out yesterday and today I ended the week by top-dressing the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch with 2 tbsp/g of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom and threw in 4 cups of Wiggle Worm castings which I worked into the medium by hand(yes, I wear surgical gloves when top dressing to prevent any possible transfer of pathogens) and then watered it in with .5g of well water with 2 tbsp/g of Unsulfured Black Strap Molasses added, then was ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. I hope to see you next week for the 5th week of flower where this beautiful lady is going to just keep getting better looking! 😍 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! We're just past the half-way point for this lady and she's looking pretty good, although she is getting some leaf discoloration which is concerning me a bit. I'm hoping the top dress I did yesterday will remedy the problem but it will take a week or two. After top dressing and thoroughly watering it in yesterday, today I let the Sugar Bomb Punch dry out and will check the medium with a Soil Moisture Probe tomorrow to determine when her next watering will occur. The Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch is really turning it on now and she's got the canopy filled with flowers that already are getting frosty! I'm only watering and doing some minimal canopy maintenance at this point which makes this stage of flowering so darn fun! As I said previously, she has some signs of a deficiency and I'm hoping that the recent top-dress will help her recover...time will tell. 3/23- I watered the Sugar Bomb Punch today with .75g of well water that I ph'd to 6.5 @ 73℉. She is really stacking her flowers now and they're getting visibly covered in frosty looking trichomes along with a noticeable increase in the aroma coming off them! I went ahead and also removed all of the damaged leaves so that I can see if her deficiency is resolved or not. 3/25- Yesterday I let the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch dry out and after checking the medium today, I let her go another day before getting watered again as her medium was still pretty moist. I'm not seeing any discoloration in her leaves as of yet and am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that I've got a handle on the issue now! 3/27- I watered the Sugar Bomb Punch today with .75g of well water that I ph'd to 6.7 @ 72℉. The leaf discoloration seems to be leveling off and I'll know better in another week if my mistake(not top dressing sooner) is somewhat fixed. Five weeks of flower on the books now and the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch is only going to get better looking from here going thru the next few weeks! Thanks for visiting!❤️ 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Today all I had to do was some quick canopy maintenance comprised of leaf tucking to keep flowers from being blocked from the light. 3/30- Yesterday, I watered the Sugar Bomb Punch with .75g of well water to which I added 5ml/g of Botanicare CalMag+ and 1 tbsp/g of Neptune's Harvest Seaweed Extract, after which I ph'd it to 6.4 @ 74℉. The Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch is really looking great and is continuing to stack her flowers, although she has signs of Mag deficiency, which I believe I figured out what happened to cause this condition with all four plants in this run. I've been using Earth Juice OilyCann and the last time I used it I noticed that, although the bottle was almost empty it still felt bottom heavy. After giving the bottle a violent shake, a solid mass dislodged from the bottom of the bottle. As a result, I'm pretty sure that the plants have not been getting the amount of Cal/Mag they've needed for some time... You would think as long as I've been doing this that I wouldn't make a 'newb' mistake like that, but hey I'm not perfect! 🤪 4/1- I watered the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch today with .75g of well water to which I added 5ml/g of Botanicare CalMag+ and 1 tbsp/g of Neptune's Harvest Seaweed Extract, after which I ph'd it to 6.5 @ 73℉. It's hard to tell at this point if the added CalMag is having a positive effect on the plant, but since it only has a few more weeks to go there's not much more I can do except to cross fingers and pray! Our outside temp's are rising now and nighttime temperatures are no longer dipping into the 30's and 40's which has made keeping the tent temp's in check a bit of a issue. I'm basically lowering the output of the lights to maintain temperatures in the 4x8 under 81℉. The lowest I've had to set them to is 40% which is right around 260w at the wall, the highest that I've run the HLG 650R's is 70% which comes out to about 450w at the wall 4/3- Today I watered the Sugar Bomb Punch with .75g of well water with 5 ml/g of Botanicare CalMag+ and 1 tbsp/g of Neptune's Harvest Seaweed Extract, after which I ph'd it to 6.4 @ 75℉. There's another week of flower gone, and judging from the looks of the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch we've got another +/-2 weeks to go before this fine lady is ready! 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! The Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch was the first to experience the same issue that has now affected two other strains in this run, starting with discoloration on just the leaf edge points, then progressing throughout the leaf starting at the tip, causing the leaves to yellow and dry out. Looking back at the readouts from both my AC Infinity and TrolMaster Controllers I think the issues were caused by too wide a fluctuation in the temperature, RH, and consequently the VPD which remained way higher than I usually have it. The cause was due to me not using an A/C unit to maintain a constant temperature in the tent, instead relying on cold air being brought in from outside via an in-line fan feeding through a 6" hose. While our weather was cold at the start of the run temp's weren't an issue. But as our weather became unseasonably warm for this time of year, the temperatures climbed up to a max of 84℉ during lights on. I will say that her flowers are getting incredibly frosty which may be in part due to the additional stress placed on her from the leaf issues and the temperature. I will say that, if it was not for the ugly leaf discoloration/damage she'd be looking epic with her frosty flowers, granted they would have been much more impressive had things gone differently, but all things considered I'll take what I can get at this point! Also, she now has a penetrating aroma coming off her that really mandates a good Carbon Filter for sure! Just because I have years of growing experience, it goes to show that anyone can make mistakes. The important thing is that you recognize them, their causes, learn from them, and strive to not make the same mistake again. 4/6- Today the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch was watered with straight well water that was ph'd to 6.7 @ 72℉. The Sugar Bomb Punch is getting close to being ready to go dark for 48-72hrs and I've been flushing her for almost a week now. She is fading nicely, is full of frosty flowers, and her trichomes are just about where I want them. 4/8- I didn't water today and only checked the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch's trichomes which now are about 80-90% milky. I will continue doing a check of her trichomes daily, looking for them to get to 80-90% milky before placing the Blue Dream in the dark for 48-72hrs to boost the trichome production before she's chopped, and hung to begin the drying/curing process. 4/10- I'm pushing the envelope on this one and I'm going to be patient and give her a few more days to allow time for her trichomes to develop a bit more. I went ahead and watered the Sugar Bomb Punch with 1g of straight well water that was ph'd to 6.7 @ 72℉. Seven weeks of flower done for the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch, and Week Eight should be the finish for this beautiful lady! 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! She has a decent coating of trichomes on her flowers which will hopefully increase after she's spent 72hrs in the dark. 4/15- Yesterday, on Day 54 of flower, I placed the Dutch Passion Sugar Bomb Punch in the dark for her last three days before being chopped and hung. I removed her from the tent and, as I always do, relocated her to a separate room that I'm able to keep the environmental conditions dialed in perfectly. While she's in the dark I maintain a temperature of 68℉ and a 40% RH in the room and also provide adequate air circulation via two fans. 4/17- 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! @BCbuds76, Thank you very much! Of course it would have been nice if the rest of the plant looked as good... not my best work, a B- at best. May all your days and grows be Blessed! 😎🙏❤️

Fantastic diary! keep that work bro! I am really curious of the method of your DARK JAIL hahahaha Could you explain me a little bit? Or just send me a post where you have explained.. I want to try that with one plant I have that still have left 4 week at least.

@TheCannaProphet, thanks for your clarification. You are the man

@mjumbo, Absolutely! Once the trichomes are developed to a point of your liking, the plants are placed in total darkness for 48-72 hours to basically stress the plant, making it think that the 'end' is near, and as a result the plant goes into overdrive with its production of trichomes (in theory). I keep the plants at 67-70℉, and the RH at 35-40%. Also, I water the plant on the day BEFORE it goes in the dark and that is the last water it receives. This allows the plant to stress a bit more, and starts the drying process before it's cut and hung. Hope this helps! ❤️❤️❤️
