Got these old Mephisto seeds from a friend. Put 3 sour crack seeds in a paper towel, all three are popped open, only 2 have root poking through so far but hopefully all 3 take off in soil. These will be in with some other mephisto strains in my tent Update: all 3 seeds popped but only 1 grew above soil in the 5 days they have been planted.

Started this guy off in a biodegradable seed pot. Manual transplant to a 3gallon airport after it reached 2 inches. Not adding any nutes the first week. Will be topping soil with Gaia 4-4-4 next week. About a 1/3rd of a gal of 6.2-6.4ph spring water every day. Update:after the second tier or leaves started I added 1/2 tbsp of Gaia 4-4-4 granulate to top of soil and lightly watered with 6.3ph spring water

Sour crack is moving along nicely, started getting a little more height than the bigger 3 bears OG, but I expected that with it being more sativa lenient. Definitely getting more height than width, might start some LST soon

First day of week 3, already have some pistols developing. Isn't very tall right now (7" from the soil to top), but I have a feeling it's going to stretch quite a bit in flowering. Have 500-600ppfd across the top leaves. I think I'm going to avoid any LST on this one, it already has a nice sturdy main stem, just gonna let it do it's thing. Update: last day of week 3. This thing grew like crazy! Almost doubled in height throughout the week.

Man this thing took off! Almost doubled height in a week. Really starting to show it's sativa genetics. I added an extra 1/2 Tbsp of 4-4-4 Gaia soil topping nutes. Been watering with aquafina this week 😂 has a good pH of 6.2-6.4 so I don't have to adjust. Going to start using lite bloom booster with watering soon, hopefully help prep up bud sites! The only LST I'm doing is leaf tucking, might start tying the big fan leaves straight down Update: the sour crack was starting to get light burn and was a whole 4" taller than my indica's. I attempted to lean it down as much as possible with wire, within 2 hours it was facing the light again, so Im just doing what I can 😂

I'm so excited watching this sativa grow! The difference from the indica's is very noticeable, especially in height. She started the week around 14" and even after leaning it down 1", it's back up over 17" tall! I'm keeping the cola side on the outside of the light bed, hoping all the lower stuff catches up and keeps colas on one side. pH spiked to 6.7 after I added more Gaia last week, so have been using 5.8 pH water to bring it down, aiming for 6.2 pH

Any clue what this is? About to be week 6 and in flower. I'm thinking the start of nute burn? I gave it bloom boost in the last 3 waterings in less and less amounts. let the soil get very dry before watering with plain 6.2 pH water. Any input is appreciated

I just read your diary and what I suspect is a minor PH fluctuation from your spike to 6.7 and you changing your water to 5.8 to bring it back down..Those rust marks and placement are typical of ph fluctuations and if you go and Google and compare you'll see for yourself that's likely what it is..Typically with Gaia which I'm running 100% right now with 4-4-4, 2-8-4 living soil and worm castings there are very little issues if any if you have a good microbial base and you might have just shocked them with the 5.8 watering...They look super healthy otherwise and I would wait to see now that you have the PH where you want it and see if this persist but I don't think it will at all....Good luck nice work...

Still growing strong. Had some weird coloring on a couple leaves (check grow questions if you're curious). Right now I'm treating it as pH fluctuating and lite nute burn. Going to be using clean spring water @6.4pH until I'm sure there's no more and then start adding the fox farms big bloom in smaller doses (30mL/gal instead of 60) and only every third watering. Based off of comparison to the 3 bears OG, I'd say this ones gonna finish a week earlier.

So had a few issue with this lady. Started showing brown spots, leaves yellow. Happened after a pH spiked and fix (was 6.8, dropped back to 6.4 in 2 waterings). Treated with a dose of cal-mag and bloom boost (5ml and 30ml) in 6.4pH spring water. Haven't seen any further brown spots, some leaves are still getting a bit more yellow. Going to dose with some more nutrients and see how she handles this week.

This little beauty has been fantastic this week. She was having some lack of cal-mag and nitrogen which I remedied quickly enough it never spread past 2 lower fan leaves. Couple small spots in the mid tier that started all stopped. Going to be using tiger bloom for the next couple feeding. Planning on finishing off with some cha ching for last week. Hopefully only 14-18 days left!

I'm thinking about 7-10 days left for this beauty. Her hairs are about 50% going orange/red, trichomes are about 30-40% cloudy, rest are clear and small. No signs of amber yet. This sour crack seems to want a little more nitrogen than the 3 bears OG. Don't know if I'll grow this one again until the smoke, I have a few more seeds but it really depends on yield to potency ratio with this one.

This sour crack is getting so close! I'm trying to get it just barely showing amber, mostly cloudy trichomes. Right now about 10% are still clear. I started flushing with plain 6.4pH water for the last watering and maybe 1 more. Hopefully only 2-3 days left and I'll be harvesting. It really bulked up this last week, buds are not as dense as the three bears og, but still respectable, not airy or fluffy.

I started with 2 seeds, only one found its way through the soil. Was in a tent with 2 other strain of auto flowers (3 bears OG). This plant definitely had a more sativa like structure at first but bushed out a lot at flowering. Thinner bud structure than the other plants, dense but no rock solid. Can't wait to cure and try this one. Has a unique sweet/sour gas smell

Compared to the 3 bears og I was growing along side this one, it definitely wanted more nutes during veg. No major problems, a couple small deficiencies that were fixed with ease. Won't know if I will grow this strain again until after the cure/smoke test.

I'm curious, looking at your pictures. I have a SC on day 71 and it's just underwhelming. Mine is in a much smaller container, but the purple hints are there. I think she's getting the cut this week. Plant looked great, good job!
