👉Dropped seed in a solution of H2O2 at midnight. 20 hours later the tap root emerged from a split shell. It was them placed in a black plastic container sandwiched between two cellulose towel squares soaked in the same H2O2 solution, then covered with foil and placed into a space that was 78 degrees F. after 24hrs the tap root had extended enough for me to place in the 3 gallon pot of 80% rinsed and buffered Coco and 20% rinsed Expanded clay pebbles (with a layer on the top to protect surface from erosion when fertigating. On day for the seedling emerged and on Day 8 it was open. Not pointing straight up. If it doesnt point upwards on its own I will assist it.
👉I will be doing daily fertigations with enough nutrient solution to achieve 20-50% run-off. I will give nutrients everyday from day 1 in the media till harvest day. I will incorporate low EC irrigation's to help balance the media as needed, determined by the run-off pH and EC. I will be using General Hydroponics full line of its Flora Series nutrients. I will mix them normally in 2.5 gallon batches at a concentration in the mid to upper range of recommended EC. The target pH is 5.8.
Looking good man. Great set up 😀
The small yellow spots can be a beginning ph lock out.
Also your humidity should be higher in this stage. Can be 60% to 65 % for sure. U can spray her or place a humid bottle over her.
Gonna follow along with this one
Happy growing buddy🙏
@Clutch, Thanks buddie! Thanks for the input. I concur about the pH. The run-off pH in last 2 days has dropped. I will be performing a low EC irrigation or two in the coming week. My use of RO combined with the use of clay pebbles makes getting enough Cal/Mag to the plant a little more complicated.
