Overall the 3 girls are looking great. Plant 1 will be ready to harvest in about 7-10 days. Her two sisters still have 3 weeks or so as they’ve spent more time/energy branching out.

I’m trying to figure out why they are so small and drooping. I have them in small containers and have been waiting until the soil is dry (3 days) between waterings. Any help is greatly appreciated

Hello @Bruce_Leroy1 ! Ok, i don't see anything bad with your soil and I just saw your new photos. From the size of the pot i am pretty sure its under water issue. Watering every 3 days plants at this size in this pot and with that fast draining soil sounds very little water. Transplant them, be careful with your watering and you will be ok. Also with these fabric pots there is no way to root bound. Roots prune themselves. Keep us up to date and happy growing ! 👊

I'm trying to figure out why some of my plants just grow one tall stock with only a few branches and others really bulk up and provide tons of branches. Is this typical and just varies from seed to seed? Either way I'm really happy with how these 3 are turning out. Thank you!!

I agree you should be happy, your girls look great so far. As far as the differences in how they grow, this is not uncommon with autos. Different seeds, even of the same strain, can vary from plant to plant. Sometimes you’ll only get one big main cola other times you’ll get a bushy plant with lots of branches. It’s just kind of hit and miss in that regard. But it should all smoke fine in the end. Good luck with your grow! 👍

Is it normal to have different flowering times on occasion within the same strain? I believe yes as I have one that just grew one tall branch. So it focused on flowering sooner as it expended less energy on vegetation. She will be ready to harvest 3-4 weeks sooner than her sis.

Hello ! It's perfectly normal , most strains out there have different phenotypes so you can find seeds from the same lineage that grow different each from another. For example a cross between a sativa and an indica can give you a plant that flower fast like the indica and with low height, another can give you a tall long flowering plant , and the 3rd can be a perfect mix of both and you can have many variation from the same strain. Most of the F1 are like that : many phenotypes. The best way to avoid that kind of phenomenon is to buy a strain that have been cross by cubbing ( 4 backcross with the same mother plant ). I hope it help you to understand your variations 😁👍

my feeling not over watering but your using a soil that is two rich and it slowley burning your roots which is killing plants which is why there growth has been bad and if your adding nutrients its like feeding a prime steak to a baby i would change soil to seedling friendly i use bio bizz light mix from start too finnish i noticed your other diary and same happened to her im dead certain this is your problem

@@Tryhard, First - thank you and everyone for the advice and help it is greatly appreciated!! I had used some left over Fox Farm soil for the seedlings and am using Tropicoco now that they are transplanted. From what I've been told I thought these were good mediums to use..?? I'm using Dyna-gro Nutes and was following the week by week instructions but I feel like it was too much nute from the get go even though it says nutes from the first week forward. I think between the fast draining Tropicoco and the small pot that maybe I had given too much water PER feeding which resulted in the droopy leaves. Since I was worried about the over watering I ended up giving the plants to much time between so they got hit with over water then under water....BLAH!! Hopefully between the transplant (The other GG plant is getting better) and a good flush for a week things will get better. I just started 2 new seedlings as well and trying to get these first stages down better this time. Again - thanks for all the help. If I'm WAY off with my thoughts here please let me know. I'm just trying to provide additional info to the PROS.

@Bruce_Leroy1, Hope all is well, I am also growing 3 critical purples and 1 tangerine dream in the same tent. 2 of the CP stretched like crazy and I did a first scrog :) Let me ask you a question, one of the critical purples, somehow looks like it needs harvest and stopped growing and stuff, my microscope is on the way. But I seem like going towards a partial harvest of the tops and then later the bottoms on that plant. Did this happen to you? Happy growing! John Dee

@iMeus, Aye thanks for coming through. I made plenty of mistakes but feel like I'm getting better every grow. Really pleased with the turnout and the smoke is great!! I wasn't sure if anyone even looked at these diaries!! I'll keep posting the updates. 😁

@TheGrowingProject, Thanks for checking out my grow. I'm going to follow yours as well. They are already SO STICKY and smell AMAZING!!! What's been strange is that this strain is 90% Indica but the genotype is showing leaves that look like Sativa. I'm definitely going to get some more of these seeds. Can't WAIT to SMOKE it!! Should be about 7-10 days on the early plant of the group for harvest. So about 2 weeks I'll be able to report back. Happy growing brother!!

Hello @Bruce_Leroy1 ! That is an issue of either over water or under water. I can't see very well but your soil looks to heavy. It would be better if you upload some better photos. What soil you use?
Bruce_Leroy1
Bruce_Leroy1commented6 years ago
@mad_scientist, I use Tropicoco fast draining soil I’ll add another week so I can post more photos.

Here are a few tips for autoflowers: The love loose soil and space. if you let them to long (like yours) in a small pot the roots hit the ground of the pot and they might stop growing. in worst case they start flowering give them after germination in the final pot with a light prefertilised soil (BIOBIZZ or PLagron). they dont like it to get transplanted. happy growing

Ok ive seen now the new pics your plants have a clear nutrient defiency...... if they have to much to less water can only answered by you. I hope they get better in the new pots. dont forget if you giving nutes the medium (soil, coco) should always be wet Happy growing

Ok I uploaded additional photos. All three of them were started at the same time. I’m going to transplant all three to the 3 gal smart pots. I’m using Mykos root enhancer mixed into the Tropicoco fast draining soil for the move.
