First hydro autoflower grow -Sweet Skunk

For a first grow I think it went pretty well. I have it drying and I am monitoring the temps and RH and it been at 60 degrees and the RH has been around 55 ish with the help of a little humidifier close by the vent to get that right number. Hope to be all dried by 10 - 14 days. I plan on checking the buds every other day until it has the right feels right, like a bit crispness from what I've learned. Then I will post pics of the trimmed buds and put up how much it is dried on the scales. I chopped her down late yesterday. Took down all the big fan leaves and left the rest to help me get a nice slow dry hopefully. I'll probably take a little bit out to smoke and the rest cure for awhile. Don't want to keep buying mediocre over priced meh bud at a shop around here when I have the possibilities to grow something great or even ultra top shelf bud. Well it's only been almost a week of drying and almost a week of curing. With the occasional burping. Now it's at a steady 60 rh and 65 degrees in my jars. The smell is getting better every day. Been smoking since it was dried. Noticed today that I can taste the terps a little bit more than usual but still has some fresh taste to it. Bud appearance is all over the place. Some buds where airy and the rest are much denser but not really nug. When breaking up bud apart it's kinda like pulling a piece of a magic eraser apart if that makes sense. Definitely a little sticky. I'm sure a few weeks from now it will get much more tastier since the original smell of the plant is coming back to the buds little by little. The smoke was very smooth and doesn't even make you cough from a big bong rip, so I at least got that part right. Overall it was a great first experience and will try to grow this again to see if I can improve the quality of the buds. Probably could have let her go a few more weeks but not really sure. I give the bud quality a 6 out of 10. And that's most likely from my mistakes and I think I could have kept the humidity down a lot more during it's flowering to help dense up her buds. I have a slightly different set up and think my next autoflower harvest will hopefully be that much better learning from some of my mistakes from this one. Happy 4/20!! 🌱🔥🔥
