Just getting them wet today.
I’ve been planning on waiting till temps get a bit warmer- but things are not as frozen and cold as usual, so I figure I’ll use a seed heating pad, and elevate the pots off my cement floor- I can get these girls up and going.
I’ve been waiting to get my hands on a ‘guava’ strain since I began growing- I really hope these satisfy that.
They’re here!
All 4 of these ladies made their way up 🌱
One seed took much longer to appear. I’ve gone ahead and labeled her the runt so I can keep my eye on her. Usually they are the ones to surprise me in the end
Keeping humidity as high as I can. It was colder than unusual today. Dropped like 2 inches to keep things warm and toasty. Seeing small amounts of progress since up potting them to their temporary pots. Look a little stunted in comparison to another strain I’m running 🌱 👊🏻
Looks like all 4 plants made it through their infancy and are beginning to take off. Today I’ll water and introduce some nutrients to help them reach full potential.
Girls are growing faster than I expected. I was planning on topping them first, but due to roots poking outta the pots- 2 girls got up-potted yesterday, and I’m planning on doing the other two girls tomorrow. I had to get another bag of soil today.
Funny enough it’s the ‘runt’ who looks the biggest.
Two plants are tall- two plants are kinda squat. Side branches are starting to reach out, and today I will water them and do a bit of leaf tucking to help those sides. The plants are starting to smell-
Missed adding an update last week- a lot going on. Plants have grown a ton. I’ve done a bit of defoliation to open up more bud sites, and added a few bends to aid in their growth.
I went ahead and increased nutrients, but the plants don’t seem to happy with the level of nitrogen, so I’m backing off a bit. A bit of tacoing going on- i checked light height, 26 inches over canopy, and both light dimmers are set to 7 of of 10.
Put a few more bends in as a last ditch effort to let more light in. Plants look a bit better, but I’m going to up the nutrients again and see how they adjust. Hoping to have them flipped into flower within the next 10 days.
Today is the first day since switching to 12/12. Wasn’t sure to list it as veg or flower, but decided to go with veg since it’s only been a minute. Next week will be listed as flower, as at that point they’ve completed a full week.
I’m so excited for these 4.
Everyone got their own little photo shoot today. I watered them yesterday. Officially one week into flower. Can’t wait to see how the stretch or bush out.
Chugging along. Three weeks into flower- 21 days. I did a bit of pruning today to make the most of each developed top cola.
These guys definitely have me nervous I won’t have enough space in a few weeks.
Chugging along with no issues. Plants are starting to be covered in white hairs, and trichomes are becoming visible. One plant is showing a bit of discoloration- but I’m not super concerned about it just yet
Beautiful girls aging beautifully.
Not issues. No complaints.
Definitely going to let these take their time and they will tell me when they are done. 🌱 👊🏻
Getting real frosty now. A few girls and starting to show some color and begin to loose some yellow under leaves. Introduced a flower stacker this week, so far so good. They seem to like it better then my autos did anyway.
Skipped update yesterday because these ladies, as well as their tent mate needed a good watering and some time to spring back. Starting to loose under leaves and seeing increased yellowing. Still early to be checking trichomes.
Oh man these ladies sure are pretty. Tons of frosted buds glistening. Lots of fade. Started these on a water only diet from here on out. I’ll keep and eye on things, but assume I’ll chop in a weeks time.
Trimmed a fair amount of leaves off each one, then allowed them to chill in the dark for 48 hrs pre chop. My best guess is 7-9 days drying before being de-stemmed and trimmed for weigh out.
These girls were 🔥 to grow and I can’t wait to see how well my hard work has paid off 🌱 👊🏻
