Tl;dr: all good, with some minor experimenting and some stupid mistakes without bit impact. In general still very happy with the development of my first plant ever. I asked some people if I should worry about groth and in short: no. The curling of the bigger/older leaves seems to have gotten better. A few of those show some damage (5th pic), but since it's limited to the oldest leaves I don't really worry about it. Could be because of overwatering first, or by something I caused while checking the branches and leaves. Biggest evolution is that there are now pistols visible. With all the extra branches and leaves it was hard to tell, but the stem has gotten a lot thicker and the plant in total is now a lot more 'bushy'. Near the end of the week you could clearly see several tops preparing to develop so I'm super excited to see how this will evolve in the upcoming weeks. As for watering, I gave it around half a liter a day on average. LST: my first attempts were terrible, pressing with tape and regular cord., or a metal wire to keep the top closer to the ground. Most of those attempts ended up with the plant ripping the tape off. I got better tape, making sure the top still bends slightly. But still remarkable how quick the stem takes on the new bended form and curious how it would look if performed properly. Because everything looks so packed together, and 80 percent of the plant is still surrounded by the pot, I decided to spread some of the side branches a bit (10th pic, upper side), hoping to get more light on the lower levels of the plant as well and generally making sure that ever future top has room to develop. But this is my first time growing so I do need to stress this might as well do nothing. Still performing (minor) LST on the main top to make sure all tops get enough light and space. Humidity keeps rising slowly. Last week humidity would go up to 50-55%, this week it's more towards 60-65%, one time even rising to 90% (I'll tell the story below). Therefore I removed the plastic pots with water in them and that seems to lower humidity by about 5% give or take. As for smell, I marked week 5 as 'weak', but that's inside the tent with high humidity. Outside of the tent (a small closed room) there's just the smell of 'a plant' and outside that room you don't smell anything. I must stress this is because the carbon filter is on 24/7. I turned it off for an hour this week and you could definetly smell it, not hard, but if you're plant is in an odd place, that might give it away. Also: touching leaves and branches will get the smell on your hands. I will get more into detail about smell when flowering starts because that is my main worry while growing at home. I do not want my neighbors or visitors to find out what I'm doing and I deliberatly picked a strain that was advertised as a low smell strain. Now that you've read this far I'll gladly tell about another stupid mistake that luckily had no impact since It's with autoflowers. First of all I was messing with the timer and I accidentally switched the timer off, giving the plant 24/24 light for about 2-3 dayys. Because I never check on her while dark I didn't realize it immediately. I do know autoflowers don't need an strict light cycle, but still a mistake I should have avoided. During this time the humidity also rose to 90%. No idea if those are related, but I also adapted the airflow of the filter. Everything is now more stable, with the filter fan getting air out of the tent and a smaller fan placed near the plant to have some circulation. To close off I do want to thank everybody who responded about my question in week 4. You can only pick one as the best answer and you can't seem to comment on the comments you get, but I do wanted to say I appreciate everyone's advice or insights a lot.

Should I worry about the length of the plant at this time? I'm now halfway week 5 and it's about 25cm, but it's hard to believe this will still double in size in the next 2 weeks, assuming lenght growth will stop or slow once flowering starts.

First of all, if you're expecting to get a harvest in a month, you're going to be disappointed ... the plant would need to be in full flower right now to expect a harvest inside of four weeks. Second, don't believe the hype generated by seed sellers as to the time it takes to get a harvest - they want to sell seeds and advertising a fast harvest only serves that purpose.... most will tell you that their estimates are the BEST you can expect but that generally you'll need to be growing quite a bit longer. That being said, you've got a good looking plant here. I'm surprised she's not drinking more but she doesn't look like that's an issue... Once she goes into flower, she will start to stretch and she'll get a lot taller. Height is not an issue - I've grown plants that only got to be 21" and others that got close to 5-feet.. different strains, different conditions - it all makes a difference but genetics plays the biggest part here. Your lights seem to be much too far away - bring them down... no further away than 24" ... when she goes into flower, you're going to want them to sit about 18" above the canopy.... Good luck...

@@GrowWithFlow, Thanks, I'm really curious how much yield I'll get out of this plant. Planning to harvest later this week and hopefully smoke it in a few weeks after drying and curing.

Hi when you say decent yeald next month do you mean your planning to flower ot next month ie 4 more weeks on veg ? As your Flowering time is probably 10 weeks and then 2 weeks stretch as well so your not going to have anything to yead intill Ruffly end April beginning on may buy if you want big yealds the veg time is a big factor on the yeald same as the environment but happy growing and good luck

@Katsuny, you do know that the Flowering time is just the Flowering time alone and not start to finish yes? If they been Flowering about 2 weeks then you will have about 7/8 weeks left to go yet they don't mean 10weeks from seeds to harvest happy growing

@Katsuny, you do know that the Flowering time is just the weeks to flower not that the whole thing is 10 weeks total yes ? 10weeks alone so around 8/9weeks to go the veg time has been quite quick but the grow time is always 8/12 weeks just to flower them and harvest is not brilliant for autos but goof luck

@Growladyeastmidlands,Thanks! Honestly I don't have a solid planning here. The seeds are advertised as 6 weeks to flowering and 9-10 weeks to harvest. I'm now near the end of week 6 and flowering has started. I'm keeping in mind this might take more then advertised, but since it's an autoflower I don't expect it to last it too much longer.

I'm super excited to see how my quick ones turn out after seeing your diary, great job mate! Saw you mentioned issues with the timer, I had similar problems with my mechanical timer. Bought a four pack of Tapo WiFi plugs from Amazon, smart plugs are well worth the investment for us indoor growers 😉 Good luck with your next grows!

@NoobBeNoobin, Yeah, it's definetly an issue, but I suspect it's never more than a few minutes and it hasn't affected the growth much. But if I ever do a non-autoflower I will try a different timer to avoid confusing the plant.
