Out of all the seeds I did this round, these are growing by far the slowest. The look good and healthy just very slow to grow. I started all 8 plants in the 4" pots but when I transferred the rest to the 6" pots, the roots on all 4 of the master kush plants were not close to being ready. Now I'm just going to transfer them directly to the 5g fabric pots I'll be using in my autopot XL system.
Well that's all for now growmies, ✌️
This last week was fairly easy going. Did notice a bit of discoloration in 2 plants, bit nothing serious. Probably all the nutrients in the fox farm happy frog all being all gone. Going to start giving them a small amout of feed starting tomorrow after I repot them in there 5gal pots and move them to my 4x4 tent.
Well that's all for now, ✌️ growmies
And there now in there 5.2g fabric pots. Now I didn't just go straight from the 4" pots to these, on Monday I put them into 1g plastic pots and then repotted them again on Saturday. The root ball in the 1g pots were already perfect for transplanting so hopefully that speed keeps up and I'll be able to run the autopot system. Within the next 24 hours.
Only did FIMing this go around because I'm planning on a quick turn around with this grow. Trying to push out as many grows as I can as fast as I can. Looking at a 4th tent just for germinating my plants so I can start a few weeks earlier then I was.
Well that's all for now growmies, peace ✌️
This was the last week of veg. Started it with topping the plant 4 nods down so to make most of the branches level with each others and then I FIMed all of those branches to try and get the ones that are a bit lower to try and get as even of a canopy as I can get. Especially thenine in the back left corner. Has the most even individual canopy of all the plants in this tent.
I brought the PPM levels for my nutrients up and also increased the PPFD level to 670 umols to slowly prep the plant for flower. I was also going to start stepping the light down from 24 - 22 - 20 - 18 - 16 - 14 then 12 for the light cycle but we got hit with a cold snap that was already given my heater a hard time. So I decided to just jump from 24/0 to 12/12 rite away. It'll probably shock my plant for a day or so but that'll be fine.
Well that's all for now growmies, peace ✌️
So we had a bit of growth lol. Added Co2 on day 3 of flower and as you can see from the last picture this week, there was a massive increase in plant size. Been keeping the temperature up and the humidity low. The light is also set to 1000uomls. Really giving these plants everything. This could be my last grow with this light if it doesn't start getting numbers. For 450+ watt LEDs I've used, it's getting the lowest numbers. At this stage in the game I should be getting 1g per watt easily and the last few grows I haven't or have just barley gotten it.
Well that's all for now growmies so peace ✌️
So as you can see the plants have been trimmed up and lolipoped. Been a busy 2 days cleaning up all 3 tents. Each one had a different amout of leaf strip do and this one was the least. The front two got the most with the back left one the least. Hard to reach back there and by the time I was had gotten to this point I was done.
So running Co2 is great but ive now had to refill my tank ones a week. At that rate by the end of week 6 I'll have spent $200 on Co2. Now I know from past grows and from research that adding Co2 to grows helps to increase your yeild by 50% but if I don't get atleast 1.5g per watt this grow (720g) I'm going to start looking at a different light. This one has honestly beenone of the worst performing lights I've used so far. Yes it's nice the plants can get so close to the lights, but so far the best I've done with this light is 1.05g per watt. Nowhere near as good as I've gotten with lights like the Spider-Farmer SF-4000, the gavita 600e hps, or the philzon 2000w cobb light.
If I do switch my light I already know what one I'm going with. The grandmaster LED torch 480. Samsung Evo mint white with 730nm far red, and still 480w (don't have much more power to give). So far everything I've read about this light company is amazing. Highly recommend checking out.
Well that's it for this last week so peace growmies ✌️
Yea you can stop growing any time now lol back plant is getting close to the light, really close. Thankfully I'm using Co2 so I can always increase the Co2 amount to help offset the increase in PPFD. There is lots of bud spots on all 4 plants, this should be a high yeild grow hopefully lol. The plants all look health and strong, might need to set up another trellis for later support when the top weight starts to weigh it down.
Well that's all growmies peace ✌️
Man this tent is looking great. The Co2 has really helped to increase the plant size and yeild by alot. I gave them all a spray with Lost coast plant therapy because one of my tents has aphids. Want to try and make sure this one doesn't. Thankfully the olants finally stopped growing, lol was getting close there for a few mins. Going to be giving the plants a small leaf strip this next week to help increase air flow and light coverage at lower levels. Loving the new Aquavalve5, haven't had any issues with my watering system what so ever.
Well that's all for now so later growmies ✌️
Ok so at first I thought there was probably atleast one plant in this tent that wasn't actually master kush (Rocket seeds, who owns sunwest genetics has been accused of switching out popular seeds with less popular ones to get rid of old stock in the past. I've actually had a few questionable strains from them myself). The one in the back right corner has dark pink buds and purple/pink leaves. Front two look the same and the last one in the back left corner kind of looks like the front two but has different looking leaves....
I put the fan on top of a few pots to get it up a bit higher. I adjusted the Co2 pan so that it's blowing the Co2 up a bit higher. This is the last week of Co2 before I stop, no point in using Co2 when the buds have maxed out in size.
Well that's all growmies peace ✌️
With every passing week, my belief that these plants not only are not master kush, but that there is more then one strain in here gets more and more credible. Two strains are already starting to have milky trenchomes, 1 strain has some Sativa looking leaves and purplish buds and the last plant looks a long ways off from being done. Now I'm not surprised one bit because these seeds are from sunwest genetics, who is owned by rocket seeds. They also owns crop king seeds and a few other brands and our notorious for doing shit like this. Luckily I didn't pay for these seeds but it sucks when your expecting to get kush plants but end up with something completely different. Now I have to go through there catalog and try to determine what strains I've got here.
Fun times.......
Well that's all for now so stay growing growmies peace ✌️
Welllll this sucks. I've got 3 ok looking plants, 1 that looks a bit shitty with small little buds, 2 of the plants have foxtailing, and atleast 1 plant looks to be a different strain..... rocket seeds.... got to love them. Most unstable genetic product I've ever had to deal with..... out of the 12 plants I've grown that came from rocket seeds (crop king seeds, beaver, sunwest genetics, etc) I've only had 2 plants turn out as what it said it was amd had zero issues.... that's horrible. Think the last for dozen seeds I have of there's are going to be donated this summer.
Well that's all growmies peace ✌️
So started flushing this week. 2 of the plants have about 10% amber, 70% milky and 20% clear. 1 has a bit more amber I'd say maybe 15% and less clear. But unfortunately 1 is closer to 60% milky and 40% amber and is probably going to end up being a little early when it comes to harvest time. But that's what happens when what you thought was all the se strain ends up being atleast 2.
Going to continue flushing for another 7 to 10 days and then it'll be harvest time for these plants.
That's all for now so keep growing growmies peace ✌️
