Her stretch then put the light higher, she will try to reach the light so she will stretch. If you want the "natural stretch" then you have to wait until the beginning of flowering. Hope it will help you
it keep reseting my nute levels i will add a chart picture. the plant itself is growing very well the smell has taken over my grow space and she is stacking flower nicely
I have now started mid bloomon the nute chart. She has started showing more Orange hairs and seems to be a very happy plant has been easily drinking a gal a day
This week has been pretty smooth the white and orange seems to be curling up and the leaf tips seem to be yellowing the trichomes have started really showing assuming shes getting close to needing a flush maybe a week or 2 more of nutes?
Shes on her way to being finished i have started late flowering nutes and will flush after 1 or 2 more feedings as you can see the leeafs are changing greatly now does this mean shes nearly used up all stored nutrients?
First thing id like to say is last night the lady i have been growing this plant for sadly passed the cancer proved to be too much and she is now feeling no pain if everyone could please say a prayer for her and her family. Ive trimmed all bigger leafs off and started her flush my nute chart still calls for the Herculean harvest so ive continued only that with phing my water stillthe trichomes r still not amber in color so ill flush for another few days then will most likely stop all water and let the soil dry up hopefully having a harvest by next week to post this has been a fun way of keeping up with my grow i appreciated everyones help and comments for good luck
Hi @Dmon88! Well, the flush period is determined by the trichome's evolution, it can last for 7 days, 14 days, or even more. Take a daily closeup look at the trichomes, and start to flush when at least half of the trichomes have turned from transparent/thin to milky/fat. Once you'll get almost only milky trichomes, the harvest window is open! For an energetic high, harvest before the first amber trichomes appear. For a couch-locking high, you better cut it down once 20-30% of the trichomes have turned amber/red, you'll get more CBN/CBD but less THC. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊
With soil your target flush time depends on the size of your pot and how much the girls drink, but a good rule of thumb is 14 days. You can Flush for longer if you would like as well it wont harm the plant. Using a Jewelers Loupe to look at Tricomes is a Very definitive way of figuring out when to harvest.
I tend to start the flush once the Tricomes get close to maturity and let the Flush go until i see 75% cloudy Trichomes. Best of luck in finishing out your grow. If you have any other questions feel free to ask away! 😎
in soil two weeks is enough... i was a three week believer until I tried two weeks with good results. just time your last watering depending on your humidity and 12hs of darkness - you'll be golden.
This strain did amazing and made for a great first grow for myself. I feel she took to anything i threw at her some days i forgot to water nutes wernt exactly on a set schedule and my humidity was up and down she stood strong threw it all
I was very surprised with the outcome i didnt expect much from an auto much less a first grow but my has she really impressed id suggest for a first time growing but im going to start searching for higher potency strain with better germ rates this was the only 1 of 5 who pulled threw. im working on my next run and will be catching it up later today0
Taller doesn’t mean greater yield though, a lot of growers myself included train the plant too be as short and flat as possible. If you need the plant higher up just place the pot on a box.
I always take the first fan leafs off they keep the bottoms from shooting as tall as the rest of the plant i feel she done really well and is now hanging hsrvest pics soon im behind on my green crack this last 2 weeks has been busy but i have thebpics just need to update
Man that's a heartbreaker. I'm lending all my tools to a lady she's also got bone cancer. She's the first and only one I've ever met that genuinely used as meds. I kinda adopted her a couple months ago and she's a great friend now. I'm sending your friend loads of prayers and one for you too because we're the ones that need it man bless your heart 🙏
Defo LST always gonna increase your yield, how much are you hoping for ? I got 2.5 oz of my last northen lights without LST. I’ve trained them a lot this time and using stronger lights so I’m hoping for 3-4 oz this time.
If you’ve only got one plant hydro dwc is the way too massive yields. I’m setting it up for my next grow atm. Otherwise go with a photo next time so you can veg too the size you want

Im just trying for a good yield not setting expectations too high considering ive never fully seen a grow all the way threw but a good friend has got cancer and cant afford the smoke and the pills make her sick so doin what i can to make this turn out right

Your NL auto is way bigger than mine at week4, so I think you're way ahead of the game, but I agree with the rest of the growers, maybe some LST would help with yield (from everything as a noob/first time grower reading and watching videos on auto grows).
Kudos for helping your friend with her medicine! My dad had pancreatic cancer and it was awful. I would help her too if I could. Good luck, I hope you get a great yield!
That is a killer grow. Going to try that strain next. I noticed you did so defoliation of big fan leaves. Did you see a big difference? I just took about 6 fan leaves off my green crack and white widow cbd.
