So I’m finally done working this winter. So I repotted up to 5 gallon pot. Thinking I’m going to move the plants to bud tent and maybe one more week under the Hlg 600r spec of veg hrs and then flip to 12/12.
I foliage spray or try to every 2 days and find this stuff is really helping plant’s bounce back to health
Dip n stix = slurricane x platinum og @ beleaf genetic
Things are looking better for sure. Switched nuts to ghe I had left over and seams to be a better mix. Moved into the 5x5 from the 3x4 veg tent. Still a bit cool to shut lights off still so waiting bit longer
Really like the structure of this strain so far.
So lots been happening this week.
One thing I’ve done was tried switch light to 18/6 but room cooled off to much went to 14 c so I’ve found the happy medium place for now is 21/3 hopefully I can flip shortly.
Two bumped the nutes up a little. As they look a bit nute starved or ph is off. Going to get some new ph calibration and check ph and ppm.
Three leaned my stocks over and held them with yo-yo. IMO I prefer to not top my plants if I can help other than for cloning. I pulled some fan leaves off to open up for new tops. Installed a net
That’s it for this week will try to drop hrs this week see if we can get to flipping hrs.
Defoliation heavy, planning on lowering pot as she grows taller. Last week of veg flipping to flower tonight.
I was foliage spraying the other morning and noticed something red on the top of a fan leaf and could believe what I was seeing. So first thing you have to know is the snow bank at the end of the driveway is still 5 ft tall and still very chilly at night. I found my a tent guard dog that volunteered to watch over my plants alrdy. A lady bug hope it’s good luck and not a sign. I’ve examined my leaves and found nothing
That’s it for now see you next week on the first week of flower
Weeks gone by pretty good no problems so far. Purchased a new Hlg uv 30 supplement led bar pretty excited to get that fired up soon I have mounted it and just waiting to be able to fire it up. Defoliation before I feed last night.
That’s it see you next week.
The start of week three will have a few things changing -
#1 stop using optic foliar spray.
#2 is I’m going to start using the Hlg 30 uv supplement bar and will be slowly adding the UVA in hourly increments as follows. Day 1 - 2 hrs., Day 2 - 3 hrs., Days 3,4 - 4 hrs., Day 5 - 5 hrs., Day 6 - 7 hrs., Day 7 - 9 hrs., Day 8 (thru harvest) - 12 hrs.
Things look good. It hasn’t stretched like I was hoping but hopefully it won’t be shaded out. Well that’s it will keep you posted on how the uva goes first time using one.
Things are going really gd no problems so far other then the fan leafs getting a little think need to pull some fan leafs. Can’t put my finger on the smell it’s a smell I’ve smelled before just can’t put it to words so far. Crazy how crystallized it’s getting all rdy. So far she has the smallest buds forming so far. I know I could have lollipop it more but I don’t mind a little larf. I just turn it into bubble hash for eddies and squishing into rosin. Well on the down hill slide I can’t wait to try these strains out.
A bit has changed from last week. I switch nutes from ghe to Remo. Buds are starting to look like they getting hard and frosty. Every days just getting a little closer to the finish line.
Things are good the sugar on this plant is next level. The smell reminds me of Vicks vapour rub. From what seeing she don’t grow very big nugs at all. Think the end is coming soon.
Thinks are looking pretty gd still turned more purple buds are fattening up and tricoms looking crazy on this strain still mostly clear when I was looking. But hoping it will be coming down by day 65 or sooner.
@Loadinglogs, Yeah I do the same thing,
I try to do one massive run per year, Is your weather getting warmer in your region so flipping to 12/12 will still be warm enough?
@loadinglogs Things are looking lovely for week 2 of flower. This strain stretches well up to week 5 so let's keep an eye and see how it behaves in the coming weeks. Take a peek at my girl, she just started week 6 today and is looking so frosty even after recovering from a phosphorous deficiency.
@jben1990,thanks , well I’m ok with some more stretch out of it as it really needs some more height to keep up with the other plants in the tent. Oh I am watching how yours is doing looks really gd. Ya I’ve had to bump nutes up on this strain. I believe this strain has need more nutes than any strain I’ve grown before.
