💯 germination success this time. Very excited to try out Premium Cultivars seed bank this run.
Only one seedling (Apples & Bananas) had issues getting rid of the seed shell after germination but by using the suggestions my Growmies recommended for my last diary, I was able to help the seedling free itself by spritzing it with water often and using a little bit of diluted hydrogen peroxide and a Q-Tip to help soften the shell.
The other 3 seedlings pictured will be split into another 4x2 tent recorded on a different diary - stay tuned.
Just transplanted these 4 ladies into their final pot to start week 1 of veg. I’m planning on letting this tent veg for a total of 5 weeks (if space allows) before flowering for 9.
Can’t complain at all about these seeds from Premium Cultivars so far. They have absolutely crushed it through the seedling stage for 4 weeks since germination and are quite bushy for their height/age imo.
Good progress so far; this run has absolutely crushed it through veg. Love Drip Hydro and Power SI nutrients. Also did a foliar application of Power SI and the gals seem to enjoy it thus far. Did the first topping at the 6th set of nodes at the start of this week. Probably going to veg for the remainder of this week and next before flower bringing the total time in veg to 4 weeks (56 days from seed).
Defoliated earlier in the week in anticipation of starting flower this upcoming Sunday. This will bring the total veg time in the tent to 4 weeks since transplant. The plants look healthy although I might have saw the beginning of light stress on 2 of them but since I raised the light they seem to be happier.
Just started week 5 of flower for these gals. Did a major defoliation and minor lollipopping late last week; other than that I’ve just been following the feeding schedule and watching them progress through flower. Excited to see them bulk up in the next couple weeks and will hopefully post a couple more updates before harvest.

Started the flush on day 5, week 8 of flower - planning to chop next weekend! I think a full 9 weeks will be perfect for these girls and they’re looking happy and healthy in the home stretch. Will update with final trimmed weights and impressions
*Things I’ve learned:
- 4 plants in a 2x4 is too many to achieve big buds on any of them
- 8-9 weeks from seed is probably a good veg time for one topping (HST)
- Mars Hydro SP3000 is absolutely killing it and I love it’s intensity and distribution
- Might scale back from ~4gal pot to 3gal to decrease the dry back time in order to feed more
- Premium Cultivars might sell “white label” versions of the strains they’re advertising but the genetics are still no joke. They must do a good job to preserve the genetic integrity when producing their own seeds of strains they want to sell because these are awesome and look fairly similar to their picture on the website.
- Overall I’m content with how this grow went and the genetics 🍁🌺
Overall happy with this grow. 4 is still too many plants in a 2x4 tent. Only doing 2 plants per run going forward, which should hopefully lead to larger buds and overall yields.
Smaller plant. I think this one generically wanted to stay short and wide but consequently got shaded by the other 3 resulting in me having to prop it up on a paint can lol. I think it suffered from not having adequate canopy space more than the others so I won’t hold its smaller yield against it.
Overall easy strain to grow with a little bit of training. I think this one would have done much better in a bigger setup so I’m excited to try it again
@40Plug, either small or just a newer company compared to the legacy seed banks. That sucks about your seed delivery issue, hope you’re able to try them through the middle man (unless my genetics absolutely suck lol)
@Greenandstinky42069, Nice bro, I've no experiences with PC too but they seem to be bussin ngl. My problem is that I'm not located in the UK or US. So I've like a Middle-Man importing them for me. Might be in a few month or so, in this time I've to grow from other breeders (unfortunately). But Fastbuds is the way to go. PC seems to be a pretty small company bcs I cant find any diaries except of yours
@40Plug, Awesome! My Zoap absolutely exploded out of the shell when germinated and has been my biggest seedling this run.
I haven’t had any experience with PC before this but they shipped really fast and they do a good job with branding/photography so I’m hopeful the genetics are top notch.
Just entered Premium Cultivar's giveaway. Just found out about them recently. Their strains look very promising. I will follow along to see how they turn out for you. Happy growing, growmie! ✌️
