Hey, ok. We are going to try this again. This time with some Northern Lights X BigBud that I got from world of seeds.
Spent about 8 hours in a glass of water.
They were still at the top of the water where I left them.
Gave em a tap and they sank to the bottom of Davey Jones’s locker.
I’m just kidding it was more like jack daniels locker. It was a highball glass.
Son now they are in a nice glass portion cup. In the dark. Just chillin.
And then Bam they cracked open!
So over night, they grew tails !!!
I went to work this morning and the tiniest little tail poking out. NOW it’s a nice long tail. Into the dirt we go !!!
Knuckle deep !! ;)
Well I don’t know if the pics are in order. MAYBE I’ll go back and fix them but for now I just wanted to crank out an update.
These lil girls are super strong and they feel ridiculously fast.
Wednesday at 11 pm I put them in the soil.
Friday at 6 am in the morning one has emerged already!
Friday night. Both are up!
Saturday morning. 2” tall. Wow 🤯
I’m gonna like these girls I hope !!!
They are in a tent with two other plants that are tall and about a week or two from flipping. Soooo the light is higher from them then I’d like.
But hey. It is what it is.
IF they stretch, I hope they don’t, but if they do when I go from the solo cup to the pot I’ll just burry them a little deeper up the stalk.
**
Ok so my lights are pretty high up there.
Can’t lower them because of the other girls.
Decided to grab an old blurple light and drop that to about 4” over. All because the internet told me…
“Cannabis seedlings and plants given plenty of blue light tend to stay short, with short stems and squat growth. They tend to grow big leaves and spread them out. For many growers with limited height to grow, high-blue grow lights help keep plants as short as possible in the vegetative stage.”
Sooo we give it a go! Let’s see.
So now I swapped out the blue light for the full grow light because I could lower it. So I’m running the light at 6/10 about 5 inches over the seedlings and they look happy !!!!
Day 7 it’s a new week and I’m impressed. These are coming along nicely.
One of them has some twisted leaves and I understand that could be heat stress but as long as we are showing improvement I think I’ve taken the proper precautions.
The blue light is gone and replaced with my OTDAIR that is actually a pretty good like for being a discount light. It was an Amazon flash sale so I got it for dirt cheap and I wasn’t expecting much but it’s really been a good light.
I have the light on 70% strength and a fan moving some air around so we should be fine.
Not sure when I’m gonna move to a big pot but it might be soon. I see roots coming out of the bottom of the party cup.
Day 11
Moved them to their big pots in some PRO MIX PRO-MIX MYCORRHIZAE.
And water.
But in a couple few hours I’ll head back to the tent and add some more water but maybe with some nutes. Basically next water will have a low level of nutes.
Yeah. Thanks for reading Growmies!
They are looking good in soil !!!
Well I have looked everywhere and all over the internet it says that NL Big bud is an auto.
I don’t intentionally buy autos.
So just incase this is an auto I’m not going to mess with it.
No topping or training.
Just a little bush.
That’s the plan this time.
I’ve started to add some nutes.
We are using advanced nutrients BloomA and B
B-52
Voodoo juice
And a very little bit of cal mag.
Well this is the start of the week for me and the girls are looking great!
I mean you raise them you love them. You want to watch them grow but you also don’t want to be critical but……… they are not as dark green as I’d like. Still pretty but… you know…. I’m kinda superficial.
Sooooooo along with some cal mag 1 ML per litre of water and a handful of worm castings mixed into the top of the soil I hope that helps a bit.
Worm castings, because I’m looking for that slow release action, if ya know what I’m sayin. 😏
Stay tuned…. Let’s see if she likes it or not. 🌱🌿

They are looking good.
Couple problems, heat and humidity.
I see a little heat stress on two leaves but hey they used to be the top leaves too close to the heat and the light.
I’ve raised the lights higher and now I don’t close my tent.
I bought a new temp gauge and it’s great. It’s Bluetooth so I can check from my phone but stupid thing is only available when I’m at home.
It’s all good though because with the open door the ramp is lower. But now my humidity has also gone down. Arg!!! A Humidifier is what I need. Guess I know what I’m getting for Xmas ;) but Christmas is so far away! 😭
This is the first set of plants that I’ve basically left alone. Haven’t topped haven’t trimmed a leaf. Haven’t bent a branch.
OH YEAH… I almost forgot. She is really showing off. You can see some nice pistils coming off the trunk… I may have mentioned before, I’m not sure if this is an auto flower. No worries though just go with the flow… Grow Happy 😃

Welcome back.
On this weeks episode of I’m guessing as I’m going I decide to thin out the inside.
I just kinda reach inside and start pruning outwards. Would you call it lollipoping? I mean you could…. But I wouldn’t. I didn’t go anywhere near the ends. More like a popsicle idead. Just cleared off some around the innermost branch, stuff I thought would never see the lights.
Looks good. Feels terrifying. Just never feels good.
Lesson learned: turn you plants often! The base of my plants is quite leaned over.
I don’t care. I’ll update if I see any negative adverse effects.
Anyway, as always stay classy Growmie

Try a foliar spray of silica and Fulvic acid right after your lights shut off and your plants won't care one way or another about the low humidity.Too many benefits to list here but a couple Google searches will get you all the info you need. Happy growing.
