First off, a big thank you to James and Royal Queen Seeds for hooking me up with some of these new F1’s they’ve released.
I choose this strain in particular because they say it is the fastest flowering variety of their new F1 crosses.
Just getting the girls wet today, and will be skipping using any solo cups or transplanting. It will be straight into their final pots. 80% fox farms happy frog, with 20% add perlite. I’ll add some additional dynomyco.
It’s been a week and all 3 ladies just decided to show their faces. Plants look healthy and are already in their forever pots. Had fun taking some super close-ups 📷
Going to get my smaller tent prepped and ready, and once my 5 photos go to flower these lovely ladies will move into their very own tent to continue on with the 18/6. Might even go for 20. Only time will tell.
Finally got these 3 ( almost identical) young ladies into their own tent. All under my Unitfarm UFS3000.
Now that they’re all situated I’ve removed the domes, lowered the light, and add two more hours of light ( 20/4). Next on the list will be introducing nutrients which will be at the next watering.
Plants are loving their 20 hour days. They have really began to pick up speed. Upon closer inspection I’m beginning to
See some pistols begin to pop. 4 weeks in is a great halfway point.
Plants grew leaps and bounds in the last week. Began lst and was able to get two done without issue. One plants stem cracked- so she’s gonna be a bit more natural, because I definitely don’t want to risk further damage.
Side branches are taking off, and I believe I’m noticing some stretch happening.
Happy how these girls are chugging along!
Plants are definitely showing some stretch. Noticed one of the girls had basically topped herself 🤷♀️ it was irreparable so I just put some Elmer’s wood glue in the hole. Crazy. I’ve done it one other time and was able to keep the broken top alive- but hopefully it will keep the plant from any sort of issues.
Girls definitely put on a few inches this past week. I’ve continued to feed them at regular intervals and have yet to have any issues until today when I noticed a few bananas on one of the plants. I’ll pull her out of the tent tomorrow and give her a better inspection but I’ll probably just pull them off and hope that’ll be the end.
They seem to be done gaining height, and have begun swelling up. Lots of visible trichomes. Noticing a few rust colored spots amongst the zillions of green leaves.
Girls are plumping up beautifully. Not much longer now. Feed this week and water alone from then to chop. Introduced some flower stacker- I think it might have pissed them off- but I’m not worried. I’ll double check the calibration on my ph pen just to make sure.
That’s it for nutrients. Ph’ed water from here on out- first serving today! Top buds look amazing but trichomes are started to turn milky white. Going to give a final week before their chop. Giving time for my lowers to gain some weight and finish developing. 🌱 👊🏻
These ladies got the chop today. Hung up to dry in the same tent they grew in. They smell fantastic. No matter what I threw at them, they all grew the same height. One thing I noticed when cutting them down was that all 3 of them had oval or rectangular-ish stems.
All the fun updates to come.
