Finally got this grow turned around. Still have no idea why she was so stunted at the start but I'm pretty sure my germination period experienced way too many temperature fluctuations which didn't help. At least she's coming around. ๐
@ROM101, absolutely! My NL auto from Nirvana smelled a little like bubblegum. And a bagseed GG4 that tasted like Necco wafers. Lol. Iโm going to start crossing strains soon. Canโt wait to see what I get.
Look at my profile picture the 3 plants in the middle are coco plants in 2liter they got very fast growth after the flush. I give them 1ml/l and tapwater with 0.5ec=1.0ec..but i will lower the tapwater ec to 0.2 the next days and i dont use calmag atm.. Will use ro water and bring the ec to 0.3 with calmag and look how they take it.. Plants react not that good if you always change the ec reading.. My bigger plants i tested with different ec readings and they didnt like it ๐Hope i dont stress you ๐
@ROM101, add some calmag and look for the next days if the yellowing on the top goes away, upload some pics from the plants where the deficiencys are and maybe some people know what to do, if you go to google- cannabis deficiency chart then to pictures and there is a chart where you can look for the deficiency, and the coco can steal calcium and magnesium when you fertilize the plants if the coco was not buffered right and the ca n mg goes not to the plants before the coco buffers are not filled with it ๐ dont panic my first plants got more problems and i gave them some calmag half of tje recommended dosage and it went away after some days, growweedeasy.com also have good articles. I will try to help because i got also many problems from the unbuffered coco, you can also google unbuffered coco and find articles where they exactly describe what happens if the coco is not buffered and this slows down the plants grow ๐ and i dont think you gave them too much fertilizer, the first pics looked okay and the first leafs the cotyledons got yellow that means they took all nutes from the cotyledons and need now fertilizer, my plants in the picture also got that and i started to give some more nutes and it went away but i dont want you to try different things ๐ ^^ oh and i see the night temps are low this could slow them in growth, at growdiaries you maybe find some grows and can look what nute strenght they use.. What lights you give your plants? I give my plants 2-300watt hps but you can start with lower watts for the first 2weeks because they cant use all the light first, after that you can give them more
Hmm maybe add some calmag if she is so slow and i think with 0.5ml/l ab grow your fine. I give my seedlings about 0.5ml the first two weeks and increase it after that to 1ml/l,you dont water to runoff? If you do check the ec readings whats coming out of the pot it should be the same.. Go to cocoforcannabis.com they have some good articles about the ec readings and how much you should use for every stage of feeding, what ph do you give them? i would give you an picture of my 2week old seedlings but dont know if i can upload it here in the chat ๐ค
Oh i see you got very big pots ๐ i use 1l pots first so i can water every day with some runoff, if i see some roots coming out of the potholes i transplant to 2liter and always with runoff to check the ec readings, i got natural unbuffered coco and the ec was over 1.5 i flushed that the last three waterings out of my pot and now they eat the nutrients-before they were also fk slow, that is why i use smaller pots to check runoff.. Or fill some coco whats left in your bag-take some water and flush it out and look what the ec readings are.. Maybe theres some unneeded salts left in your coco ๐ค for the pictures they look hungry to me.. Increase the fertilizer or add some calmag thats what i would to do, but maybe they are rooting, i have some plants in bio soil first they were in 2liter pots and i transplanted them into 10liters 3days ago, in that time they didnt grow because the plants rooting throught the pot, now after 3 days of transplant they grow again very faaast ๐
@DoorStop, hey mate can't tell you much more then you can find in a google search. Only advice I can really give is less is more. By that I mean give less nutrients then recommended water less then you think and interfere as little as possible and you should be fine.
@ROM101, I know what you mean. Though I grow indoors, winter drops my tent temps by 10 degrees. So I get 75 in the day, and 60-65 when the lights are off. I was concerned about my higher temps lately, but they seem to be taking it well.
Yeah I'm getting 10 to 15 degree drops each night. Plants can take it but it just slows them right down. Generally getting about half the growth speed I would be getting if it was a bit warmer!
