Turned the bloom light on now as well as the veg switch that was on. Checked the next day everything was fine so dropped the lights down to around 24inch and now increased the ec to 0.8 responding well
Been using lst on both of these plants they seem to be responding well with lots of space for new new shoots that are popping out. Temps have dropped a bit due to cold weather and also been battling with smell leakage still unsure how other than maybe a below par charcoal filter to blame.
At around 5 days after showing signs of flowering. Started with canna boost now. Starting to get high RH readings so going to get something to dehumidify. These plants are getting really bushy so all good so far.
Lowered my rhizo and calmag by half and upped the base butes a&b and also the boost. Lots of flowering sites started to do some big stretches and getting thirtsy. Really looking forward to see how much these will produce. Just got a new extractor kit for my tent not ive got the room to upgrade tent size at a later date if needed.
Im running the canna coco line and at the minute ive started using boost in every feed but i hear conflicting opinions of when to start using pk 13/14 so was wondering if i should use all the way through or just once as the canna website says. What do you do?
Hello @BuddingBudda! When i was working with Canna i was using the boost accelerator from week 2 of flower at every other watering ( its just humic and fulvic acids ) and the P/K during week 5 till 7 at every other watering also. Happy growing ! 👊
Buds are starting to fatten up, theyre getting pretty smelly at this point and starting to frost up nicely. Really great strain grow lets hope they yield nicely 😋
Just broke my ph pen dropped it in the water so waiting on a proper ph meter now 😂. OTher than that the grows going well, buds are starting to fatten, ive added pk at half the dose of the boost might do that for a couple of weeks. Theyre getting really smelly and frosty now just wanting to get a good yield. got a heater on all the time to dry the air out a bit, humidity is sitting around 50-55 currently. Did some light defoliating of lower leaves and removed some bud sites that wont come to much to focus more on the larger bud sites.
Feeding is the same apart from ive swopped cal mag for omina so my ec has reduced by quite a bit which means i can add more nutrients. Theyre getting really frosty im jist waiting/hoping all the buds join so i can have some big colas 😆 theyve been so easy to grow for my first time im just hoping there is some weight on her 😂
Dropped the pk now just waiting for the trichomes to change before flushing. Theyre pretty stinky now dont think theyre going to be much longer, exciting 😆
Time to flush. Going to try for a week then chop but out of the two one of them definitely has more amber trichomes. Can see where i went wrong with this grow there are buds that havent received much light due to an overcrowded space. Will try to rectify that for the next one. Just excited to chop now to see what they yield 😆
Baring in mind this is my first grow so i dont really have a reference point but from observing other peoples diarys and my own observationa this strain has been really easy to grow. From start to finish ive had no issues with the plants health and i have made any mistakes these plants were very resilient. I Will be growing this strain again at some point. Very pungent smell from them during the grow and they grow stocky with thick sticky buds. Dried the first plant for 7 days and the second for 8 now just tubbed up for curing. Dont know if they will lose anymore weight but at this time combined they weigh 328grams so just trying to figure our how thats possible 😂 but if i find they loose more weight il update this diary. all in all very happy with this first grow and this amazing community thats helped me through it with such valued information and encouragement. SO Thank you all! 👌
@BuddingBudda, mine was half clear half cloudy and went all cloudy 3 days later with a small amount of amber. I generally start flush when all trichomes are cloudy😊
@ROM101,for my next run though ive got a couple of fast buds blue dream matic. Seen a lot of good stuff about them so pretty excited to give them a try

@HighTV,thanks mate! Really hope so they seemed to of slowed down growth for a bit but now theyre starting to fatten up. Least for my next grow il know all this instead of getting worried 😂
Yeah don't over think it just yet. If you have and extraction fan in your tent I'd fire it up as they can help suck some of the moisture out of the air. Your girls are going to really start to stretch over the next two weeks so enjoy the ride 👍👍
@BuddingBudda, great news!! As for strain suggestions go for whatever you like the selections out there are just nuts. I've grown a fair few autos and they all offer something different. I generally go for strains I can use at different times. I like a morning or daytime smoke always at hand also a more racy strain to get me moving when needed. Then I always like a knock out strain at night time. I've been giving the Cbd strains a go lately and have found they are also really great especially during the day.🙂
@ROM101, sorted my humidity its back down to 55 so i can sleep easy now haha. Getting a new extraction set up over the next couple of days just got a 6inch phresh stealth fan kit with mountain air filter because the bog standard one i got with my tent doesnt seem to be up to the job. Really noticed the stretch this last couple of days its crazy how explosive they are! So pleased i chose these as my first grow plants. Hopefully when you have all your autos havested you can recommed a strain for me 😋 still got some seeds left of a few varieties will have to try and remember what ive got lol
Hey mate as for your question about lst I'd start now and start simple as it's your first time. It's about increasing bud sites so just gently pull the main stem down to a level your comfortable with but try to get it low enough that the side branches and stems off the center grow upwards. I just try to keep the highest point of the plant even with the rest of the plant or just slightly below as this encourages the rest of the branches to push up. Don't over think it and don't overdo it first time round. You will build your confidence over time but the ladies are looking healthy and happy and that's the most important thing to start with. Enjoy your first grow and give me a yell if you have any other questions. I'm no pro but happy to share my limited experience where I can👍
@ROM101, thank you so much for your detailed response well now ive lst them both with good results really was lost didnt have a clue but as i was doing it kinda got the hang of it and turns out i was worrying for nothing! Haha one this i did realise though whilst ruffling her up and bit and tying down was how smelly this strain is! But theyre a skunkXlowryder so that probably explains it lol
@ROM101,Well thank you for the help! 👍 i can deffinitelly say il be using it on all my grows. cant believe how bushy these get, just struggling with the humidity at the minute it topped out at 75rh earlier so got a dehumidifier on the way. Really worrying, think ive read too many stories about bud rot 😂
Not long now @BuddingBudda 😜 watch the last few weeks she will pack on the weight. They finish really fast to. I had to start my flush earlier than I thought as the trichomes turned in a matter of days. I should be harvesting mine in about a week!!
hey budda you don't really want to reduce your cal mag ever because you can t really have too much of the stuff and you can really start missing it down the line. Try using boost once a week along of the PK too much boost can cause P or K lockout and could hurt down the line so you want to dial in the boost as time goes on. I really like the canna but the bioboost let me down a bit the boost is quite weak in general but somehow still has too much P in it for some reason. Wait a couple weeks before you throw it in the mix. Good luck buffen these up nicely !
