Mar 22nd
I put this pair into water just 2 days ago, these Red Thai seeds have already cracked and have tails.
New to this grow is a taking a shot at this Floating Germination method.
Seems to make so much sense.

26th
- forgot to put these in Soil yesterday so it happened FIRST THING this morning. Seed-tails almost touched bottom of Glass. Pure White, no discolouration and super easy to slide into the airpots…
27th
- one is above ground already at daybreak. It shrugged the casing and membrane off no problem.
- 2nd seed is breaking ground at Lunch-time.
- both were planted only 18 hours ago
- fingers-crossed, i hope we have a Female
29th
- moved the set-up into the 12/12 tent
- thought we were losing #2 to damping-off, seems to have turned a corner. Heating Pad is with Ladies
30th
- pictures tonight. 2nd seedling is catching-on, but is a little behind. Alls good in big picture, lites on shortly
Mar 4
- first day of Veg for both Red Thai plants.
- proper dinner and pictures tonight. 1-2” of Soil Amendment was worked into Substrate; Worm Castings, Kelp, old dried Buds, Bee Pollen, small amount DynoMyco and a bit of promix.
- + ~ 100ml per plant of Rabbit Poo that I forgot to add to the soil treat. That will be worked into the substrate as well…
- basic pH’d Cal/Mag-water was fed through this new Soil.
Food is there, the roots just need to find them. ~ 150ml of Water fed in a circle to each plant. Get those new roots moving outwards
6th
- rabbit poo worked into amended soil
- plants watered with basic Cal Mag solution; 150-175ml in a circle around seedling
8th
- ea. fed 200ml basic microbe tea
9th
- many seeds are germinating under 24/7 lite and today was the soonest I could get the Red Thai in there. Long light will be gone within a few days, so this will not be too much of a shock I hope: 20/4 lite sched by the weekend
10th
- Last day week 1 of Veg
Apr 11th
- week 2 may see a bit of a stall due to be taken down a notch in light intensity, with the move to the big tent. Bonus is that the light schedule is back to 24/7 with a move towards 18/6 by the weekend. And higher PPFD’s. Plants are seeing 500 right now, seedlings 385.
- i have seen how tall these plants are growing; the plan is to Top one of them and to use LST on the other, to bring the main branch Horizontal.
Two separate locations as well
12th
- 500ml ea. fed slowly in circles
- first nutes delivered
- growth at the nodes
17th
- plants are fed; meal posted above, #’s to be updated
- 4th node is in-progress
- last day week 2 of Veg
April 18th
- start of week 3 in Veg
- fed last nite; 500ml
- made a small amount of water with Calcium and fed Thai #2, due to the rust spits in lower fan leaves. ie Ca deficiency
21st
- plants fed 500ml ea
- cotyledon shriveled so they and True Leaves were removed
- adjusted lite height and output; 18” and 590 ppfd
23rd
- carried out a Foliar spray of Dolomitic Lime (Ca) on one of the R Thai’s. It had shown a real Calcium deficiency in the last 4 days, poof krinkly. 4/52 have a bit of a deficiency showing. They were treated to-a foliar, everybody else got second-hand Calcium
24th
- topped Red Thai no.2 today
- last day of week 3
- attempting a couple Clones…
April 25th
- Thai 2 was Topped yesterday leaving branches at node 2, 3 and 4. Thai 1 has also just been Topped, leaving nodes; 3, 4 and 5.
Goal is to see if one style develops much differently or healthier than the other. Both are being topped. Finding a home for cuttings as we speak
- I acted on a Ca deficiency last week. The step I took was to do a Foliar application of a Dolomitic Lime, to deliver instant Calcium to the Thai #2.
- Foliar feeding to begin this week; Fulvic Acid + Transport
- basically did a big overspray in the tent, if Calcium is on the edge for a few plants. I’ll be including Ca in the Soil Amendments 100% and teas.
- Coffee grounds placed on surface and mixed-in ie: Lowering soil pH
- table removed from tent, floor operation now for a week, then split into two tents.
- Red Thai / Red-Headed Hippie slated for small tent
27th
- dinner tonight is pH’d water @6.2-6.4
- Red Thai no.2 (and a few others in the tent) may have Too Much Calcium…
30th
- 500ml of Worm Casting Tea / Molasses ea. they had dried nicely and were super ready. No sagging, just ready
May 1st
- Red Thai fed last nite; 500ml ea., Worm Casting / Molasses Tea
- with the plants Topped last week there is LST going-on to keep the branches spread. No hardware but I get to work on the joints...
- #1 was topped and features Nodes 3, 4 and 5; Red Thai #2 was topped as well, at Nodes 2, 3 and 4. The effort is to see if there is really any difference in Growth patterns and Bounty
- right off the bat, things look very busy at the crown of plant #1
- Both of the Red-Headed Hippie's have gained traction and are growing nicely now
May 2
- found female pistils on both Thai plants Bonus !
- it has been confirmed for me, the Thai, is Not a Red Thai. My mistake. In the Seeds I have, the GSC version I have, are of the Red pheno; Red GSC.
My apologies to all those that I’ve shared seeds with. But I needed to clarify my oversight. Glad it has been confirmed.
- its also the earliest I’ve seen a plant show its Sex
- as far as the red-headed hippie goes, theres only one change:
Thai x RED G.S.C = R-H Hippie
3rd a.m.,
- fed ea plant 500ml, they were really dry. Worm Poop n Molasses tea, again
-LST opening branches
- Lite schedule has hit 18/6 today
May 7th

- top-dressed with a tbsp of GAIA green 4-4-4 veg fert
9th
- fed 650 ml 7:00am (lites-out @ 11a.m.
11th
- found one of the Red-Headed Hippie’s to have his Gonads out. He’s already got a new home. A Friend is collecting the custom Pollen
- the THAI seem to have turned a corner and the Canopy is returning to nicer colour. Both of these took a Hit, that was hard to diagnose as too much or too little Calcium. And then of course maybe a Phosphorus Def… you know how it goes.
Feeding water was the answer, And Worm Casting Tea / Molasses became nutes. Last week I top-Dressed with all purpose fert, and water and teas will be the new food method. Period. I need a simple food plan across the board. Soil Amendments are going to be used outside.
The canopy looks great this morning, the Fans still look horrible
12th
- dry this morning so fed 500ml of Tea, posted above
13th
* discovered that the 2nd Red-Headed Hippie, is also a Male.
I tried, better Luck next time
May 15th
- fed 600ml of Nute Tea
16th
- re-potted to 2 gallon, great even root development throughout airpot
20th
- starting to notice a difference between the bud-site development if the two topped plants. Plant 2 has Nodes 2, 3 and 4, and it apprars to be filling-in the Middle area of the LST’d plant, much more completely than Plant #1.
Plant 1 has Nodes 3, 4 and 5 in operation and its Branch Ends are seeing a higher bud-site population, with a Barren middle.
May 22nd
- Worm Tea brewing
24th
- fed 1L ea, early this morning

28th
- soil amended
- fan leaves to be removed again later this week, end of week 3.
29th
- Thai #2 is throwing up Purplish Red colas. And retaining a very tall slim profile.
Thai #1 took easily to training and has become a solid wide plant. Both styles are working. Both plants have been exposed to totally different conditions… so the fact that they have 2 different coloured Buds is only a BonuSssss

- Thai #1 weighs 4.6lbs in a single piece and that is how she hangs for a week
- Thai #2 was chopped 15:00 will be hanging shortly
Sept 28th,
Thai #1 was harvested yesterday, to the tune of 4.6lbs, in a single piece.
Thai #2 is to be harvested this afternoon and will be added to this Sum.
Thai #2 was harvested and her hanging weight is 2.4lbs
This strain had been worked, for 4 years to reduce its flowering time. Genuine and Rare, this strain has 2 phenotypes and luckily I have one of each at this point; purple and normal
Both of these plants were building Buds in early August, so they were Fast-Acting plants and Bloomed early.
Another sign of strong and tight genetics
