Good morning all!! First diary of 2023 under way! Well I only did one last year too lazy to keep it up to date. 🤦
I have popped 4, two came up real quick! although one had a little accident I dropped the peat pellet and she fell out🤦 so buried her in her pot to rise again 🙏🏻 the other two need a little longer in the prop. Waiting on a little heat mate to arrive today still a little chilly in there. I will add some more pics from the tent once I get the others in.
Anyway welcome to my diary hope you enjoy watching me bumble through this grow.
EDIT all now up even the one that had a accident. Pic added. Given a light water will now leave them for a couple days. ✌️
Added this week as I was updating germination as a week. Messed up 🤦
Anyway all seeds popped up Friday 25/3 apart from the one I had dropped that came up Saturday 26th.

Day 7 a couple of the plants are looking a little faded. Light is on 40% and about 55cm will keep any eye on them.
Day 4 all looking good, light still on 40% not too much growth so hopefully it’s all happening below the soil ✌️
Day 5 All looking good (I think) PPFD 390
Start of week 2 some good growth.
Moved the light up to 500mm from them as some of the leafs didn’t look to good. Started the fan to get some air movement.
Light still on 24/7 at 40%
Watered 500mil plain water today day 8

Day 10 things improving new growth leads look good. Light still at 40% power. They seem happy.
Day 13 all seems to be going ok. One plant has some dodgy look leafs but hey ho
Day 14, front right plant really struggling not sure why. Going to start LST in the next couple days.
Day 14 started some LST they are all bent over apart from 1 that seems to be a bit runty. ✌️
All the girls have recovered well from bending them about yesterday. Hoping for some big growth this week. I will adjust the ties in a day or so.
Day 16, left them alone
Day 17, adjusted the ties all seem to be doing ok apart from one that hasn’t pointed back up to the light like the others. Will be giving them a water tonight.
Day 18, these girls are really starting to take off now. I’m running out of space 🤦 I will adjust all ties later on today and take some of the bigger fan leafs off to expose more bud sites. Even the runty one seems to be coming on 😂
Day 18, watered and ties adjusted took a leave off each plant to expose bud sites.
Day 20, Adjusted them again last night, the dodgy looking one in the front right I have topped (experiment) put the light up to 80% they seem to be looking ok I think.
Day 21, lots of growth this week. Upped the amount I water to 1ltr every other day. Adjusted all the ties again last night and all have reached back up again this morning.

Adjusted the ties on my girls last night one of them still hasn’t pointed back up to the light. Is this an issue or shall I just leave her and see what happens?

Last night lol. Being impatient mate. Leave her a couple of days and you'll see it grow around the wire, repeat the same process when it does. Do the same thing with the side branches also that are going to be growing upwards. Nice and green, looking good. 👌

Day 22 the girls have really taken off this week! I keep bending the tops over every other day or so. I have removed some of the larger fan leafs to expose the bud sites.
Given 1ltr plan water today.
Day 23 they have all risen and pointed up to the light again. Looking ok I think.
Day 24, pots were completely dry and very light. When I went to check the ladies one was showing signs of droopy leafs. Really not sure what’s going on? I have given them all 1 ltr of plan water again.
Day 25, looking loads better this morning. Going to up the amount I water to 1.5 litres every other day I think.
Day 26, all good on the hood 😎 canopy is fairly level. Not a lot of space in there though! #420 ✌️
Day 27, had to water again this morning. These girls are drinking loads and growing like mad. Just done some defoliation
Day 28, just plodding along waiting for these girls to start to flower. Wrong on some grow nutrients. I should get them tomorrow. They could do with a feed I think.

One of my ladies looks over watered. They are in 8 litre fabric pots. Day 23, Watering 1 litre every other day. They were bone dry today so watered. Could this be over watering or is it a sign she was thirsty?

I see your using something MC, a soil nutrient loaded soil?
If so, steer clear of run off. You don't need, nor what that with soil. If you do get run off, best to let the plant drink it back.
As you said in your diary update. Your pot was dried out. So, my bet will be under. And she's showing light signs of needing water. As if she was badly needing, her leafs would be limp. But, as stork said. If its a case of under. You'll see her bounce back within 30m or so.
Also a good way to tell if you're not giving enough water. If you see it travels thru your sub really quickly and pisses out the end. She needs more.
Day 29, getting some grow nutrients today so they will all have a feed later. Starting to stretch up now. Light back on 60% still too cold to take of 24hours.
Day 30, watered 1ltr with 2mil of grow as they are starting to stretch out.
Day 31, they need watering again!! These girls are thirsty.
Day32, struggling with temps 20c they are feeling it. Turned the light up to 80% to get the temps up a little. Weather looks to be warming up thank god!
Day33, they have started flower (on day 30) so given them some feed with this watering. Tomorrow they will got too 18/6 time schedule as I think they are getting too much light.
Day 34, just plodding along. They seem much happier now the light is down too 60% still getting droop about 2 hours before lights off but I don’t think there is anything I can do about that.
Day 35, staying with 20/4 until they finish the stretch. I’m running out of head room 🤦 all looking good will get a drink of plain water tonight.

Watered today at 10:00am went to check in them 5 hours later and all the leafs are droopy! It has been a bit chilly in there today not getting above 22c but had the heat matt on 24/7 sorry this is the only pic I got as had to shoot off. Thanks for your help. ️
heat mat may not be best idea for a mature plant. if floor is cold something it can sit on can help. you might be warming substrate much more than the air. warmer temps = less oxygen for roots. substrate can be colder than the recommended air temps.
warm the air, not the substrate. 22c isn't so bad. it's probably warmer directly under lights, too.
all sorts of different reasons can cause droopy leaves. after looking at diary i have some other ideas...
You've got 200w in 4 sq ft of space running 20 hours per day. You wouldn't need 50w per sq ft on a 12 hours per day schedule. efficacy of that light would matter here.
2,3 umol/j efficacy looks accurate. you are giving 1200+ PPFD over 20 hours is over 86 DLI. you are giving way too much light even for a co2 rich envionment.
give less light. reference a DLI table. i have you your ppfd for 4 sq ft with that llight. you may need to dim it a bit. you'd only need 9 hours of light to max out for ambient co2. Or, increase distance from canopy. 24 inches is already 'dimming' it a bit as far as max intensity in any 1 spot. the 1200 plus PPFD mentioned would probably be 18 inches or so relative to area of coverage. just an educated guess. that light looks like it has well-distributed diodes.
Day 36, the back two girls have been in flower for 5 days now. The front one is starting. All looking ok. Raised the light as much as I can reduced light to 18/6 as they were still showing signs of too much light.
Day 37, nothing to report these girls are just doing there thing. All in flower now. Will water with bloom tonight. The tent is full 😂
Day 38, just sitting back and watching these flowers form. Did water last night as they were still moist.
Day 39, the tent is full!! 🤦

Day 42, nothing to report. They are starting to stack nicely now. Will feed them tonight.

Hello fellow growers! So we are now on week 6 day 1 fed the girls last night. All seems to be going good at the moment 🤞🏻 just sitting back letting them do their thing.
Day 44 My hygrometer is faulty I think. So may need to get a new one. Added a second last night as I couldn’t understand why the RH was so high.
Day 45, fed the girls tonight. They all seem to be doing ok. Removed the heat matt and trying to get my RH down a little more.
Day 47, nothing to report just watching them grow.
Day 48, watered with plain water last night.
Day 49, did not feed them. Buds are looking frosty and starting to put on a bit of weight. Plant at the front is a bit behind the others.

Well week 7 day 1 (day 50) and the girls are starting to progress. Looking very sticky indeed. Bat taking a cold spell at the moment. Hopefully it passes quick.
Day 51, added a small fan to circulate a bit more air as the buds are now starting to fatten up.
Day 52, watered them tonight and took this little video.
Day 53, just letting them be ✌️
Day 54, only one needed some water the other are still damp.
Day 55, watered and fed the other two, really starting to frost up now.

Day 56, still a long way off and I’m glad! These girls are really starting to fatten up now. Starting to smell really nice too.
Day 57, struggling with one plant. All the leafs are not looking good at all. Will get my loop out later and have a look. Buds are looking really really nice. Will take some pics later.
Day 58, had a close look at the buds, they are still a good 2 weeks off at least.
Day 59, watered last night. All the leafs are really suffering on the two older plants. Buds are looking nice I think. A few bud shots of the girls this evening ✌️
Day 60, nothing to report will check the buds later once they are awake I think they will be coming down next weekend.
Day 61, buds are really fattening up now., they are all mostly cloudy so will give them all at least one more feed then when I’m back middle of next week they will all have a weeks flush. The smell is so sweet and skunky.
Day 62, gave them all 500 mil of water/feed last night so I can give them a good drink tomorrow as we are away for a few days. They are getting close now so tomorrow will be the last feed, then onto straight water for 7 days. I can’t wait to get these in a joint!!

Day 59 and I’m really struggling with the condition of the leafs on these ladies. The buds are filling nicely and smell really sweet too. Any ideas or shall I just try and ride it out until harvest? ️
Looks fine in my opinion. I mean the color is off a bit but it looks like that’s a nice late flower fade.
Proceed as you have been.. harvest should be right around the corner.
Even if you wanted to try and change course and try and adjust something, it wouldn’t do much this late in flower.

So day 63 has arrived. Going to give them a good water and light feed today as I’m away for a few days. I think once back I will flush for as long as I can. They are really stacking up now and fatting up. Mostly cloudy with a few Amber. Have a great week people ✌️
Day 66, these girls are on straight water now for at least a week. They are all like stones, sticky and looking great. Can’t believe how fast these have come on.
Day 67, they are really starting to Pokémon the weight now. They smell so sweet too. Really hoping I can keep them going for another week.
