Blue Cherry Pie is a mix batch as you can see from the pictures one plant has stretched beyond the light on one side of the flower tent and it is in flower week 3 or 4 showing bud sites, unlike the other one beside it I just placed in the flower tent 2 weeks ago and it is not showing buds yet. But looks like it may stretch up to the current height of the Moroccan Chilli strains that will be finishing last week of April.

Grow Questions

I fed nutrients instead of water flush to a plant in week 8 of flowering, the plant itself is ready to harvest. Should I wait a week to flush or will it be ok to harvest and dry as I do not want to wait much long it as the plant is in the perfect sweet spot to harvest.

As you're using organic nutrients. Flushes Period are not needed buddy. Had a look at your diary. Very nice plant. I did see your ml/l is high. If you feel she's ready. Give her a heavy feed of water. And leave under light for a few hours. This will draw as much moisture into your bud as possible. Therefore increasing your drying time..especially helpful if you're in hot environment or out of the optimal 20c for drying. Shes very ripe looking. Good harvesting.

I harvested Blue Cherry Pie #1 as recommended by the grow diaries community forum. Blue Cherry #2 is in week 3 and #3 is in week 4 of flowering. I did a light defoliation and light pruning on #2 as I needed to lollipop for better air flow to mitigate PM or any other pathogens. #3 I will give another light defoliation if needed.

#1 Blue cherry pie has already been harvested, dried, trimmed and is in the 2 week of curing. I will give total weights once all plants have finished. #2 Blue Cherry Pie is the newest update as it is at the end of flower week 7, looking good. I started the ice water flush today as it is looking ready to be harvested asap. waiting for the moisture to dry and give it once last ice flush before harvested next week, Wednesday or Thursday to hang full plant dry with dry humidity set to 50% and temperature set at 20 degrees celsius. #3 Blue Cherry Pie is the last one, is in week 5 of flower, I think I may have stunted the growth in the vegging which put it a few weeks behind #2 Blue Cherry Pie in comparison. Final week of feeding Calmag as they head into week 6 I will be not feeding calmag.

Personally this strain is one of my favourite strains and genetics from the prior LP Alberta Parkland Flower. Dustan McClean and Ron Harrington were like the dynamic duo with Dustan's master growing for the past 30 years and Ron the head breeder from Humboldt county CA. I was very fortunate to have been able to work underneath these local legends. Unfortunately I only have 7 more seeds of these lovely seeds so I am going to have grow one into mother, to continue the lineage. Great profile berry, floral notes followed by this funky gas stank. It is a not only my favourite but has been a hit with everyone that I have been sharing with. Great bag appeal. 😬 Let me know your thoughts, thanks for following and stay fresh'n'funky.
