So this has gone pretty well.
The lemon Cheese is down now as it was suffering some mold.Smells great and resinous but didn't want to risk any more damage. Totally my fault as in this particular set up I have zero air flow.
Big no no I know but I have my reasons.
The durban is looking lovely and fattening up nicely. Pretty frosty now too
Can't wait to try both!!!
So I feel the harsh-ish conditions I put these 2 through had an effect on this one for sure. This wasn't an ideal setup by no means but I feel this strain has a lot of plus points which unfortunately I could not fully unlock on this run. Kind of annoying but it is what it is and this strain will definitely be visited again very soon ☺️
I must say this was an absolute dream from the start!
Despite the conditions being a bit ruff and literally no ventilation the Durban seemed to thrive through it all. No mold, high temps at times and some early attack by bloody mites and after a harsh need session it really shone through.
I've sampled some early chop haha and seems to be a strong up high with some giggly silliness in there. Definitely what I was looking for!
More on both these lovely strains after some cure time
Peace ✌️
Very impressed seemed to take everything undesirable well and will deffo look forward to some more of this in the future and hopefully in much better conditions 👍
@DeepWaterGrower, have you had much experience with this light before?
I'll be going again with it and I must say this first time round I'm quite impressed haha 😄
Something I forgot to mention was the fact I barely got the light over 40%
On occasion I could crank it to 60 but most of the time it wasn't even at half of it potential.
I think this was well worth mentioning.
With proper air flow and temp control I look forward to my next small run 💚
So far things are going well.
The lemon Cheese seems to have developed a few nanners. Could be down to high temps at certain points or maybe inconsistent light schedule at the beginning of its life due to tent being set up late but it's smelling nice and resinous already with quite a hashy and purple kind of smell to it, almost Berry and citrus like.
The Durban although seemed behind the lemon Cheese at first seems to be thriving.
Developing nicely and frosting up very well with a very fruity and almost a light aniseed smell to it.
The durban has more bud sites and is more branch but looks like will need at least a week or 2 longer to finish
