Once the roots hit the solution, they are taking off...
I'm keeping ppm from 500-700 and pH from 5.5-6.5
I'm also adding bloom khaos foliar spray to humidifier tank to feel external as well but only once a week.
This week resulted in a mild algae bloom, drained scrubbed and sanitized the buckets and air stones. Cleaned roots and refilled. Water temp isn't to high, buckets are clean...I'm now wondering if it's bacteria from nutrients? Let me know your thoughts.
I would look into beneficial bacteria. I had issues from day one in DWC, got bennies after trying different things and havent looked back. If you keep a reservoir clean with only synthetic nutrients and beneficial bacteria roots will stay nice and white. Check out my diaries for some examples, best of luck friend.
