Seeds are from Mediseedman so unsure of auto stability.
Soaked in tap water with peroxide for 24hrs, germed in makeup pads within 12hrs. Planted seeds in jiffy pelletes.
Ph 6.9 tap water 20mls per day, watered when pellet felt light.
PK 2 exhibited some deficiencies probably due to ph level. Will correct once transplanted.
Week 1: Only took one photo,
Both plants seem to be a light shade of green. Will buy some Calpro Next week and up the nutes. Feeding to around 30% run off twice a day. Going to start training around day 12.
Both Plants exhibited fast grow a few hours after transplant and first feed then slowed down dramatically, I assume this is to focus on root growth.
Week 2:
Seen too much yes you can, no you can't information regarding training Autos so I've decided to test myself whether it stunts them.
Started with topping after second node, Plant 1 is showing shorter internodal space to plant 2.
PK 2 has started exhibiting a nice odour, hopefully it won't go into flower too early.
Week 3 veg (Day 22-28 from germ):
Started using Calpro was delayed a week. Used as a foiler spray on-top of normal feedings until deficiency symptoms subsided.
Tied both down on Day 15 using shoelaces.
PK 2 is exhibiting a nice odour since week 2. PK 1 has no odour.
Started using DLI both plants 20 DLI.
Week 4: Day 29-35 from Germ.
PK 1: LST continued throughout week, decided not to Top again due to Pistils emerging.
PK 2: Decided to top in 5 different sections.
Both plants exhibiting decent growth staying low and bushy.
PK2 showed signs of phosphorus deficiency from new growth where toppings took place. Will give her Bloom nutes alongside PK1.
Will start Bloom nutes next week.
Week 5:DLI slowly increasing from 20 to 30. Was ment to do this last week but forgot to.
PK 1 is transitioning into flower now.
PK 2 is still in Veg but has nice long stipulas with signs of Pistils emerging slowly, possible stunting with previous week's toppings. Still exhibiting a nice bud odour and seems to have gotten confused as to where it's main stem is and is growing stronger now on its second node.
Wanted to challenge the legitimacy of daily defoliation to see if it will stunt. So far no observable delays. Removing lower nodes was longest delay at at around 20hrs to start showing growth again. PK 1 showed no delays.
Decided to do one more HST on both plants Day 4 to get canopy even.
Continuing Full strength Nutrients as per feed chart. No signs of Nutrient burn so far.
Week 6:
Lights have been changed to 24/0 schedule end of week 5 due to timer breaking. Will continue in 24/0 to see if I can keep stretch to a minimum.
PK 1 has recovered from the supercrop/kushman twist/lollipop to top node near end of Week 5. Picture of bud structure is from the top that has a hole in its stem and is now the largest top so far. Tight internode spacing throughout the canopy. Happy days!
PK 2 is still healing (she was trained alot harsher than PK1 as it is still in Vegetative state). Possible photo seed will continue to veg as I can't change schedule. Better veg better roots better fruits as they say.
Dli is now around 35 they seemed to not want to go higher just yet.
All HST is now complete, Possible scrog if flower stretch increases too much.
PK 1 didn't show much signs of slowing (<24hrs) down after previous weeks heavy HST whilst PK 2 slowed for >=48hrs.
30% run off as I am not doing EC readings this run if I can get away with it.
Green planet duel fuel seems to be keeping true to its word with auto ph-ing tap water to 6.2-6.5.
Update: End of week 2F, Trichroms started forming, looks to be on track and doing well.
PK2 has grown bracts some with tiny Pistils and some without Pistils. Could be an affect of heavier stress, will monitor but it doesn't seem to want to transition to flower, Journal will focus on PK1 from here unless PK2s Ruderalis genetics start working.
PK1 DLI - 58 to 63
PK2 DLI - 38 - 28.
