This is my first time Hydroponics Grow
Day 6
So, I have pulled out carefully rootriot anyway, even tho @swisskush told me not to 😆😂
I still see no roots. We have some light burn on new leaves, but it seems like getting better.
RootRiot is constantly too wet. I added ventilation, inside fan and humidifier. I am going to keep
This baby up like this, and feed her manually, untill she shows me some roots. I am using water from reservour

I put the cup back to where it belongs. @SwissKush recommended to start over, because bro thinks
All the mistakes I did would stunt the seedling. Hopefully it won't be the case, but even if
Will be so, I will start over with a new diary. Growth is visible. I also see second stage leaves coming out.
If they will be deformed and not good to eye, I will consider starting over. But before,
I'll just continue experimenting. Everyone around be like "Why Hydro?" "Go Coco as you used to do.."
But the thing is, if you never try, you never know.

It's definitely growing, tho it looks really freaky, thanks to me and my overthinked experiements... I hate blaming things on circumstances, but they are hard rn around me:) Let's see how it goes. i can't wait to see the roots.

I noticed that airpump gone dead. I have no idea how long Jeffrey was without oxygen.
But as I noticed, I repaired it, now it's running better than it was before. Hopefully won't happen again.

I changed height of lights to let her stretch a bit. She is getting huge in dimensions. It's incredible how much difference DWC has with growth rate, compared to normal/soil/coco. I am fascinated to see difference everyday.
There is 1 Liter bottle behing the plant for the eye scale.

Today when I checked down on Jeffrey, she was looking suspicious. I checked pH in the tank, and it showed less than 5. I took fresh water with higher pH value and refilled the tank. I caught the pH value about 5.65.
Thinking to cut a couple leaves, to defoliate. No signs of preflower. I'm happy. I still need to gather flowering nuts.
Day 18
Fully changed reservoir water. Refilled with nuts.
Day 19
Did a defoloation, not much but removed ones that were covering smaller tops most.
Started doing LST to the main stem, bended it a little bit. Hydro makes sure plant is well hydrated and it responds very well to training.

Day 22
So I didn't know whether to choose Flowering week or vegetative week, so I used veg as you see.
Now plant is in preflower, it showed me her sex.
Still awating for nutrients to arrive. Hopefully we'll get them tomorrow

Day 23
Still no new nutrients. I noticed that plant drank 2-3 liters of water in 24-36 hours,
Refilled it and mixed just a little bit of base and calimag, because PPM value was down by 500.
Also pH was on the edge of 5.5 so fresh water made it 6.3
Hopefully we will receive and get to mix new nutrients tomorrow.
I also crafter Comfort water refiller. Drilled a hole in 5 liter reservoir top, fixed flexible hose in it, and everytime I will need to refill the DWC, I will just put the Hose in Level Hose of DWC, flip the bottle and vuala.
Day 24
Nuts arrived. I mixed lower amount than it is in the chart, just to be sure I won't overdose.
Removed 7-8 lower leaves, and ones that were obstructing light from fresh branches.
Day 25
Added MarsHydro lights.
Day 27
Did some LST on 3-4 branches. Defoliated 3-4 leaves.
Day 28
So I refilled almost 5 liter of water to the tank, mixed nutrients, low doses, didn't add ProBloom, only BloomBooster.
Defoliated 7-10 leaves. Did LST.

Growth is promising.
Day 30
Started with a bad news. Main stem, center, got broken due to lst. Lower rope got released, and it made upper one to snap quickly... I noticed quite late sadly. I gotta admit, it's like tradition that main stem breaks whenever I grow 😂 I still tried to fix it back. I don't know if it's gonna work or not, but Jeffrey was through A LOT, and hopefully she will get through it aswell. I will update photos later today
What's most important, hopefully it won't stunt my plant.

Day 31
Reviving center top is not working as I see. If it gets worse I will remove the tape and check it out, if no luck, it will be removed.
Added 5 liters of fresh water, balanced out pH and added nutrients.
Something is telling me I will see difference by tomorrow.
Day 32
Added brick under the pot, so when I need to completely drain reservoir, it's gonna be on higher level, which will make the cycle easier.
Did some defoliation, and took photos 2-3 hrs later.
Center did not survive, so completely removed it. Duct taped the snapped open top.
Day 33
All good. She's drinking almost 2 liters +- a day
Day 35
So final day of this week. She is bushy. She is drinking like 2.5 liters a day.
Quite appetite she got with those PPM-s 😀
I didn't defoliate much this week, but I will make a good one next week.
I have no idea if this lights I am using gonna be enough or not.

Added 5 liters of water with mixed nutrients. It seems like Plant is drinking almost 5 liters a day. It may br because of hotter weather today, but I think she just started reving up.
She looks massive, I have never grown any auto to this size.

Size of this plant is incredible. Sometimes I'm sky happy, sometimes I am disturbed by the size 😃
Defilitely can tell that 5 Liters per day is consumption. Refilled full 5 liters in 24 hours, with nutrients of course.
Did some defoliation, and you can really see she doesn't mind a bit.
This is the last day of this week. I wonder, how much water can It consume next weeks?

Clipped lower stems that were not able to get light, I chose ones to cut by their stem width.
Temperature is very high. 28-30° Celsius. But she is managing.
She is stretching so much, I don't know where to take lights, but I still have about 10-15 cms to lever.
I don't know what kind of monstrosity is this, but I love it ❤️

Defoliated some leaves for better light access.
Buds are forming, can't wait for it to start exploding

I changed the light schedule from 20/4 to 18/6 due to high temperatures outside. It gets really hot where the tent is.
Refilled with 5 liters and nutrients. I was right about hot weather, it is the cause of so muh water consumption.

Crystals are visible. I can even see them shining on bigger leaves, but in smaller amounts.

Traditionally added 5 liters with nuts, did not add Grow - First part today, I am experimenting checking on PPM, I think she is not eating all the Grow part and goes in to overdose. Saw couple leaves with burnt tops, but all really is fine, it's not even an issue rn.
Added ventilation, made myself from old nonworking portable air heater. Removed coils and everything, and keft onlt Fan inside.
Can't wait to see her explode, I think she is planning to do it quite soon.
I am amazed by how low smell she has right now, even though temperature is high enough, around 28-30 degree celsius.

I saw difference between yesterday buds and today buds size. I think she will go turbo in the en of the week or in next week.
I think I got the temperature under control. Possibly, I will remove one or two hours from schedule, but I really don't want to. But if weather continues to push so hot, I think it will be the only option.

I see you're stripping that's good. She looks good. Maybe a little behind. But typically barneys autos are slow to move through pre flower but are stickler more so than other breeders for when they're autos will be done. You'll see she'll start to push real fast for you soon. She is a big girl. As said below, defol is a no no in this phase. And with your amount of space. LST and good practices of tucking leafs in-behind buds as opposed to taken any with autos I've learnt if you've the room. And the patience, left be with good lst, you'll get a much smoother grow and less chance of foxtailing, no defol or lil, less stress, less chances of things going wrong.

So Barney says 60-75 days life cycle, this plant is also really big, so I think 75-85 days in total will be quite allright.
Next two weeks I will continue Bloom mode, and next I think jump doing to the Ripen for 7-14 days and then flush it

She is deinking less than she did before. Approximately 4.5 liters. It must be connected with hotter days before.
I see lots of fresh buds-flowers forming. I mentioned Focus Bud in photos, I photograph that bud everyday and let's see difference

Had a smell issue, guess I ruined carbon filter in just two months lol.
But I found a temporary solution, to beat carbon filter a little bit equally from all around, and smell is gone.

It's been a long ride till today, and these last weeks are warping and I feel like it's still century till harvest.

ProBloom is getting empty, there is about 5-6 doses for her... When ProBloom finishes, I will let her eat out everything left in the tank, and I will switch to Ripen. You can't really go wrong with several days I guess. Nothing is perfect, right? 🤔💚

Guess I was wrong about ProBloom supply. It's only one dose left. But I will stick to the plan
As i mentioned yesterday. I will let her eat up everything left in the reservoir, will drain it after, and switch to Ripen.
Today I took buds by big leaves, and gave it a little pull-pull, so I could feel the weight of buds, they seem quite heavy, which makes me happy 😍 but most importantly, earlier cut of lowest buds was giving out quite a nice high, can't wait for the final product 😋😋🤤🤤

Buds look pretty mature to me. Photos can be tricky to read, especially I am not using top notch camera here.
I think it's time for Ripen. Easy.
I don't have ProBloom and ArmorSi left, so I will let her drain all the PPM from existing water, and after I will switch to Full Ripen mode.
Looks like I am being in rush too much as @SwissKush says. Trichomes are far from ready.
I will finish this week in Bloom mode, and will switch to Ripen next week.

Found some KoolBloom and added to solution in place of ProBloom.
I will carefully observe Trichome color these days. Top buds seem very mature. Otherwise I can see new bursrs of buds.
Solution after refilling with nut water is at 1700PPM
I will refill with only water tomorrow.

Refilled with pH balanced water - 5 liters.
There are so many layers of buds, trichome photographs may be misleading.
I've decided to start Ripen from tomorrow, Day 74.
Ripen will be added as long as it's necessary.
Better start early(if it is) and finish procedure, than be late and cut without it.
Furthermore, this Widow still has too many leaves I was not able to trim, so hopefully
Ripen digests most of them, so lower buds can also get light.

I found two buds getting moldy, so there were no second thoughts, I had to cut them. It was not much, but progrrssive. It was the only way, I cut two tops.
I fixed the ventilation issue, added some fan, hopefully won't have too rainy days for couple weeks, and hopefully I won't see any mold anymore
Hey man!! Looking awesome!! She is a monster! The trichomes are still clear in the photos. For a White Widow, which is a long flowering plant, now in the 7th week of flowering, you can start the GHE Ripen next week, day 83/84 with a fresh DWC pool change with Ripen you will see about 300-600ppm, the lower the better.. For new water pool use GHE/TA Ripen which works very well, 4ml/L Ripen for 7-14 days. Keep an eye on the trichomes around Ripen day 7, this is when the trichomes will likely all be white with a few amber trichomes. Use this as a gauge to start your flush with a fresh DWC pool change of GHE FloraKleen for 24-72 hour flush then harvest. 30-40% Amber trichomes in White Widow are really what you want, the high is balanced and incredible for most people. The plant looks like it will be a very potent White Widow!!

Buds and all the leaves are covered in dense trichomes. Touch is incredibly oily and sticky, smoke is incredible, feels like inhaling that sugar. Absolutely Amazing
I could not believe my eyes. Plant was so big, I hardly managed to take it out of tent, due to small area around. Broke multiple stems when taking her out. Was very heavy and quite a job to take her out and weight it.
Dry bud weight is 660 Grams

Day 34, and the consumption is great! 2L a day is really good! She will be very strong, even with the topping, I think she will be really good with the 200 watts! 😍

Follow this diary closely! @Saint taught me how to grow my first Autoflower cannabis 2 years ago, OG Kush Autoflowering by Dinafem! We were in the same city for a while and had access to same nutrient stores, I was lucky to learn GHE from him!
This White Widow XXL is grown by a true grand master grower!!
@Saint, Yeah I usually grow XL or standard. Largest auto yield so far 212g/plant in coco under 600w HPS.

@Saint, my 4x4 is busy and wont be available for months. I have a little tent and 300w grow light that I tested on a photo. Seems good enough for 18h but 12/12 not enough. The yield was disappointing. So I thought I might try an auto in there... and after seeing this I started planning to build one. However my local supplier has just got a 15l all in 1 that is really inexpensive and I'm tempted to try that. Hence the question. It would mean I could try it real soon.
