Hey ! First off, thanks to RQS for providing seeds; I greatly appreciate your support guys ! <3 So, RQS have these new hybrid F1 strains, which I'd very very like to grow (and taste :p). I settled on the "Epsilon F1" strain, which looks fantastic ! Have a look : https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/f1-hybrid-cannabis-seeds/620-epsilon-f1.html :). As for what I'll use / do this time around : - Seeds : RQS Epsilon F1 (auto) x3 - Pots : 9L airpots - Lamp : ViparSpectra V600 (LED) (mostly blue lights for a few weeks, then blue + red) - Nutrients : Biobizz (always wanted to try them, so it's a first) + Calmag (later) - Technique : Not sure yet. LST for sure, but I'm still hesitant topping autoflowering plants beforehand. Perhaps I'll go for SCROG if I take some time setting it up - Medium : Biobizz All-mix (mostly peat and perlite) - Light schedule : 18/6 all the way. Not sure if 20/4 would be more interesting; we'll see. No issue whatsoever at this point; sprouts came up quickly and looks healthy. I used peat pellets provided by RQS for germination, which does a great job. Seeds were planted on 26/03. Now these are autoflowering seeds, so I'll skip repotting them in intermediate pots, as it would not be very optimal given their short lifespan, but you probably already know that ;). At the end of the week, sprouts were transplanted in their final containers (see next week photos). I'll try to update this journal every week, as usual. Stay tuned !

As said earlier, sprouts were directly repotted in their final containers (9L airpots). They just had their first night under lamp, and looks healthy so far :) I'll wait a few days / weeks before I start feeding them. That's all for now. Wish you all a nice week !

Hey ! Still not a lot to do; I started feeding plants with 2ml/l Root Juice (BioBizz) start of week, as they where still little sprouts, then upped to the actual prescribed dose from BioBizz feeding schedule for last watering as they responded well to it. Also switched to 20/4 yesterday, so it'll reflect on next week page. Next week, I'll probably start training them; I plan to LST only (no topping), perhaps SCROG though I don't have a net yet and am not sure it'd worth it for only 3 plants. We'll see ! Have a nice week my dudes !

Plants are growing fine and I was on the fence about topping them or not. I finally decided to just tie them (actually also removed some leaves today, but that's for next week's update). Also started feeding them some nitrogen and will add some calmag to the mix for this week waterings. Wish you all a great week !

This week, I : - Removed some fan leaves, and also a few subbranches on lower levels - Kept tying down stem and branches to have a somewhat even canopy - Start feeding plants appropriately for flowering stage Plants didn't stretch much but seems healthy overall, as flowers are starting to bloom :) Not much to do for next week; just keep feeding them and watch them grow some more. Have a nice week folks !

Uneventful week. Plants are doing fine, small rise in temperatures as spring is here. Only things I did was to adjust nutrients a bit, still following BioBizz chart, and rearrange the room yesterday night to give plants more space. Wish you all a nice week friends !

Flowers are getting sticky and smelly 😋. I stick to BioBizz feeding schedule and revised quantities accordingly; also gave plants a little trim a few days ago. That's it for now. Have a nice week folks ! :)

Flowers are getting bigger and stickier, as smell is getting yummier :p. I just noticed yesterday some leaves with yellow tips; perhaps I should tone down on nutrients and give them a good wash to start the week. Anyways, hope you had a nice week-end and a good week to go; ttyl !

Grow Questions

Hey ! My 3 plants (same strain) are showing yellow / brown leaves tips for a few days, and I'm not sure what it could be. I'm thinking mild potassium deficiency, or perhaps a bit too much nutes ?FYI, I'm strictly following Biobizz chart, every watering. Should I worry ? Thanks !

The brown tips are the result from overfeeding it called nutriet burn you can search it up. Flush your soil with water with the right pH (no nutrients) and use 2 times the pot volume in water. Let the soil dry for 2-3 days. And after you can continue feeding like you did before but use a quarter less to prevent nutrient burning.

This week started with a flush because of a mild nutrients burn, or so it seems. Gave them only water for three days, then nutrients every other day. Looking at trichomes last night, harvest is coming soon, as I can already spot a few brown ones here and there. I'll probably keep feeding them phosphorous-based nutrients on and off for the rest of the week, then plain water until harvest, be it in a week or two. Quick question, if someone read this : Would switching back light schedule to 18/6, or even 12/12 be advisable for autos starting flowering stage, or a few weeks later ? I'm wondering because of the hot temperatures and energy bills, though no biggie. I think that's it; have all a nice week !

Still going; almost there. I'd say ~2w give or take. Feeding them every other day, incuding calmag once in a while. TTYL ! Edit : It's been two days I can't properly update this page; either info (nutrients, pics, ...) disappears on page reload or it just does nothing. I can't rotate pics, so just rotate your head I guess :/.

Last week ! Harvest was on Sunday and plants have almost finished drying. I should probably buy an humidifer or something as they always dry too quick IMO. I'll post harvest pics next week or so, after I put them in jars for curing. Looking good ! :) Wish you a nice week !

Not much to add; only problem I encountered was a mild nutrients burn from overfeeding I guess, and as much as I'm satisfied why harvest (buds are high quality if you ask me), I was expecting a few more on the scale (got 71g dry for 3 plants). Though, these are automatic strains that I can't keep in veg longer, I keep using 9L pots, and drying happened way too fast (~4d) IMO. I might be able to to do better. Anyways, this was nice, and also short. I'm starting a new batch (another strain) this summer for sure. Thanks for stopping by; see you next time !
