Hi All! This grow is a bit of a tryout. I didn't want to wait until May to start a new grow, but it's too early in the season to plant outside. This Do-Si-Dos Automatic seed is one I bought last year so I wanted to try and give her a start in my G-Tools growbox, and let her mature outside in the greenhouse. Climate aside, she already provided me with the necessary challenges in the germination stage. It could be that the seed was a bit old, as when it started to sprout the seed shell wouldn't come free of the seedling. I didn't want to risk damaging her with tweezers, so I very carefully removed it with my bare hands, applying just the right amount of pressure to free the seedling without damaging it. After this the next challenge came up, at there was a very thin fleece over the seedling still keeping it from opening it's tiny leaves. Again, barehands I carefully removed it and miraculously the seedling was unharmed. Actually, I had no clue what I was doing, I said a prayer to the Great Gardener and hoped for the best ๐
