Good luck on your first grow!! The yellow on the leaves can be a sign of ph issue, it may be too high or too low - I would check your ph and aim for 6-6.5ph 😊

haha yeah man carbon filter, in emergencies you can kinda like plug a fan into it and it should work to at least reduce it a bit
