4/3 - Seeds into the water
4/4 - Seeds added to paper towel, wet, bagged, and placed on back of coffee pot for 2 days.
4/6 - See 3 good tails, 1 good crack, and 2 seeds. Transfer all 6 to rockwool cubes.
4/7 - Green on 2
4/8 - Green on 3
4/10 - 4 germinated. Tossed the other 2.
4/11 - Rockwool cubes placed in netpots on one layer of hydroton on bottom and filled/packed in sides. I left enough room on top of the cube to cover with hydroton once the stem is taller. This will help to block light down through the netpot. Once in the netpots, I flushed with pH'd water and added week 1 nutes to solo-cup basket holder.

Max Temps (88f) and Low Humidity (30%) at peak times during seedling stage. I wonder if this will affect the growth of these four. They will go in to a DWC bucket in the hot tent in a week or so. Temps are running mid 80s.
Too hot. If they get to flowering that hot it will destroy the parts your trying to grow. 82f 83f tops . Humidity around or below 30 the plant can't take up enough water to survive. You combo high temp low Humidity. Screwed up grow. Plus your solution will be warm and that will hurt as well. Likely invite rot if you are not careful with roots and keeping them pruned. They might make it but issue will likely arise. Make sure air pump is outside tent for cooler air going through solution. I have my intake for my pump in a ac vent. Lol. Good luck.
3/3 - Looking good. No issues. These girls got their first nutes when the rockwool was placed in the netpot (last week's notes). I have the netpots in clear solo cups, which is great for fit, but not great for roots. So, these roots should be popping through the bottom of this rockwool and netpot real soon. Gotta get a darker cup. Coffee cups work great. I'll probably do that. As the roots establish over the next week, I'll move them to their DWC reservoir out in the big tent. But, it's hotter out there, so I want to get them a good start before they're beat up. Gonna toughen these girls up!!

Wishful thinking... these are regs, so we'll see if they're girls or not in about 3 weeks.
4/18 - Adding a little more water to ensure the rockwool doesn't evaporate too quickly. I need the roots to come through a little more before I'm ready to let the water level drop. I'll be away for 3 days, so we'll see what they look like on return. The top 2 are dominant early and my guess is male.
4/24 - Day 14 - The top two are significantly larger than the bottom two. I know if I'm thinking about breeding, and these two bigguns are ladies, then we'll be putting some pollen on them.
you have regular autoflower seed? that's unusual. home brew? if so crossing with a photo male will not produce 100% auto seeds.
proflowers will show when they show.. probabl 2-3 weeks from sprout? unless it's some long-lived XXL autoflwoer strain, then you wait longer.
you see preflowers about 5-7 days after the plant switched into bloom phase. with autos, you have no idea except in hindsight from visible preflowers.
4/26 - Not much going on. I checked and adjusted the pH last night. The roots are starting to get staggering on some of these. Too early to top? LST anyone? So, no signs of sex yet, and the smaller ones are still small. WTF? This may be a wasted run of two males and two dwarfed bitches. We'll see, I shouldn't be so cruel this early, might hurt their feelings.
4/27 - May get the trichome glass out and start peeking at the node areas and see what growth is coming in. If nothing else, get familiar with early growth, so I can learn how to determine sex at an early stage. Had to shift a couple around in pot for size. Looking different daily with growth updates. Will probably move the girls into Yuban buckets
5/1 - Chopped boys with balls.
5/2 - Moved big girl to Yuban and into the big tent. She looks great. The two smaller ones remain. I believe I see one male and one female. So, that would be odd true 50% distribution. 2 phenos, one of each sex? What are the odds. We'll see if that's so real soon.
5/3 - Day 23 - The yuban is looking great, but some of her larger leaves are drooping. Not sure if that's the coffee residue in the can, even thought I washed it with soap. Not sure if that is(not) the reason for the darker roots, but so far not affecting the growth.
The other two are still in the spacecan sharing a bucket. They have a low humidity environment right now, so the leaves are crinkling. These two look like a completely different pheno or strain than the other two.
5/4 - These two girls in the spacecan are SHORT. What's up? Their sister is like an amazon at this point, even with the coffee on the roots. WTF. I confirmed it was coffee and not root rot. I'll have to change the water this weekend. or today if can make myself do it.
5/8 - One is showing signs of leaf distress, but she shares a hole with the other MAC, with no problems. The girl in the tent is 11" and starting to flower. The spacebucket girls are also starting to flower, but not as tall as the tent girl. I'll give them letters eventually.
Changed out her water on 5/14, so hopefully she bounces back. Slight discoloration, but pH is good. The others in the spacebucket are still struggling. One has micro flowers, gonna toss her. The other appears to only have 2-3 nodes and is bushy. Needs to be moved to the tent as soon at the soil girl comes out.
5/22/23 - Day 42 - these girls look like trash. They are so susceptible to any swing in pH, nutes, temp, what the F ever. When I get to chop the Yuban, I will decide whether or not to continue this diary.
I ended up with 2 males and 2 females, and the females are doing the worst.
Day 51 - Trimmed bottom several branches off one of these, because she had about 12 nodes. The tall one is showing some really fast flowering throughout the entire plant. Flowers everywhere.
Day 65 for these girls. They are doing quite well, considering my complete lack of desire to grow these out right now. Once these are done, I'm turning my tent dark for 2 months.
These look great. Super hard strawberry nuggs forming. Reminding me of the Atlas Grease Gun I grew last year. Exciting.
Day 70 - These top colas are getting fat and hard. Side nuggs are fat strawberries. These are going to really fill out over the next week. I'll chop Day 75+
I broke a branch on about day 68, so it's in my dry box right now. Might try to smoke it tonight ;-)
Chopped 2 plants that were raised as DWC from seed. Kept these in Yuban containers. Great vessel for quick cycles and SOG. Next time I'll actually grow these, instead of planting and letting them live. Smoked a sample from last week. Smooth.
