Durban Poison (Dutch Passion)

She’s definitely reaching for the sky! She would probably be better for being a bit closer to the light, but no can do. I’ve started her on a light nutrient feed, she appears a little pale, but that will soon change. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

Seen some good growth over this last week, I repotted her into a 1 litre pot as her roots had started poking out the seedling pot she was in. She’s been getting a light nutrient feed all week and will continue this for a few weeks. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

Starting to see a bit of green coming back. I must have with given her the wrong feed at some point or too much straight water 🤷‍♂️ All appears to be getting better now. Happy with how she looks, until next time 🌱💚

All appears well with this girl, she’s now a healthier shade of green. I’ve repotted her into a 2 gallon fabric pot and I’ve increased the amount I’m watering her up to 1.5 litres every 3-4 days. Seen an explosion of growth over this last week! She’s shot up almost 10” since the last update. I’ve increased her base nutrient’s slightly, she now receives 2 litres every 2-3 days. I plan on putting her into flower in the next week or so, just want her to get a lil bit taller. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

Decided it was time for her transition into flower. I moved her over to my flowering tent a couple of days ago. She’s continuing on the same nutrient feed as last week, but I plan on increasing her nutrients next week. I removed a couple of fan leaves to open up a bit of light for the lower branches. All appears well with this girl, her bud sites are taking shape nicely and I’ve had to start feeding her every two days, she’s sucking up the juice. I’ve increased her A+B nutrients up to 2ml/ltr and added some Canna Boost at 1ml/ltr. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

Had to harvest this girl a week earlier than expected, I found a small amount of bud rot forming half way down the main cola. I checked over the rest of the plant while trimming and didn’t find any more, but il have to be vigilant through the drying process. Other than that business, what a beautiful strain, the pictures aren’t the best, but the buds are completely pink on the inside it’s wild! The buds themselves are rock solid, there’s no give to them what so ever. I feel like I say this every time, but THIS strain is now the greasiest strain I’ve grown to date, she almost feels wet to the touch, hence the small amount of bud rot 🤦‍♂️. Better air flow needed, always learning. She’s got a very distinct smell, I’ve never smoked any Durban Poison so not sure what to expect, but it’s a strong smell, but I can’t place what that smell is. I’ve given her quite a heavy wet trim, I’ve left all the bud on the branches and hung them on a hanger. The environment in my drying tent stays at around 56RH - 21*c, she could take anywhere from 9 - 14 days to dry, but il be keep a close eye on her. Been a fun grow despite the rot.
