Moved from the started containers I was using since the tap root on 1 and 2 were starting to poke out the bottom. All 3 are in FoxFarm Cultivation Nation and doing well. Will start with light nutrients this week once the pots have settled down from using just water after transplanting. Everything has been bought local and that is the plan going forward. Support your local shops when ever you can!
Started adding the Fish Sh!t and Pro Cal towards the end of the week. I should have started them a few days earlier but didn't want to risk burning anything.
#1 was stretched a bit from having the light too high in the beginning so I gave her some light LST to keep the canopy even going forward.
#2 has exploded in the last couple days where she's on par with #1
#3 still seems a day behind the other two but it also germinated a day later.
Accidentally mixed my nutes too strong early in the week. Caught it right away so did just water with a cut dose of Pro Cal and Fish Sh!t for a few days to correct. Started re-adding Grow Big again mid-week in lower doses making sure to flush well.
Also had to raise the light but turned it up to compensate. It's getting warmer during the day so I don't want to burn anything. They are starting to take more water everyday.
5/18 - Did some light defoliating tonight. Everything is going great so I'll start some light bloom nutes next week.
5/19 - Added pictures after last nights hair cut. Everything looks much cleaner and took off overnight.
5/20 - Added pictures of the first blooms forming.
Flowering has started so this week the bloom nutes are going in. I don't need to water today so that will start tomorrow.
I may have to do some more defoliation later this week. There's some fan leaves that can't be getting much light. Finding the right amount of the Pro Cal has been a challenge. I don't want to use too much but I keep seeing a deficiency as the plant gets bigger. I'm going to try going higher this week but I don't want to burn anything at this point in the grow.
5/23 - Watered last night but not much drainage with 3L per plant. Tomorrow I'll try 4L with just Pro Mag to get a better flush and try not to burn anything.
5/24 - Went with 4L of water per plant with Pro Mag and got a better flush. I'm hitting the point that 2L per day instead of 4L every other day is the way to go and will start that tomorrow.
5/25 - Did 2L of water each tonight, already getting some draining so that is good. Letting them go overnight and I'll see how everything looks tomorrow. I'm seeing some signs of burn on a few lower fan leaves but overall everything looks good.
5/26 - Watered 2L per plant and had drainage pretty quickly. I think I let things dry out a little much at the end of last week.
5/28 - Watered today with 2L without flower formula added. Little drain from the coco so I added 1L each of just water. They are getting bigger than I was expecting for sure. I need to trim them up this week so light gets in further.
5/29 - Watered with 4L each plant so everything drained well today. I may try 3L tomorrow and see if that is still enough. They are still growing and as long as they stay about this size I'll be good. Did some trimming and clean up so that should help. Unfortunately I accidentally broke off one of the upper branches on #1. The main cola looks fine and I guess that just means some more light for a branch below.
5/30 - Watered 3L each without flower nutes, everything is still going great.
5/31 - Everything is going well, no need to water so I let everything go for another day.
6/1 - Watered with 3L and did some trimming to get things under control. I can't believe how big they are getting but the growth seems to have slowed a bit finally.
6/2 - Just 1L of water tonight. The coir still felt damp but with how big they are now I didn't want to chance it.
6/3 - Did another liter of water before heading out for the day. Glad I did, #1 needed it. Theses girls are about 3 feet tall now. This evening they each got 3L of water with Bloom and Pro Cal. Tomorrow I'll have to do another trim for sure.
6/4 - We're over 3' tall on each plant now. Tonight I trimmed up each plant to let light further into the canopy and avoid humidity problems. Water is 3L each tonight. I think #2 has stopped the stretch and leveled off but #1 & #3 keep growing.
6/5 - Watered with 2L per plant and took out some leaves that were falling off.
6/6 - Watered again with 2L per plant with bloom nutrients and trimmed a bit more. I don't want to over do it but you can really see where the light isn't getting.
6/7 - Watered 2L each but only with Pro Cal. Took out some more leaves that were yellowing. At this point I think that's just a daily thing.
6/8 - 2L of water for each tonight after trimming some really low flower sites that had no hope. I updated pictures and you can see these are three slightly different types. #1 & #3 are closer and #2 is clearly different. Until this week I really thought #1 & #2 were closer together.
6/9 - Nice! Seriously though it was just 2L of water with Pro Cal and Grow Big. The way things are looking now I'm guessing these will come down about week 12.
6/10 - Did a little more trimming tonight. I think I'm getting too much nitrogen so I only watered with half a dose of Pro Mag and just Tiger Bloom in 2L of water tonight.
6/11 - I can't get a good measure on #1 but it's close to 42" tall now. #2 is much shorter but still over 3'. #3 is in the middle of the others. I just watered with 2L each of just water.
6/12 - Another 2L of just water again. I think they are still too dark from excess nitrogen. Depending on soil moisture tomorrow I may not water for a day to really flush things out and be sure.
6/13 - Everything was still pretty damp so no water today.
6/14 - #2 was still pretty wet so I didn't water her tonight. #1 & #3 were given 2L of just water each. Tomorrow I think nutrients will start to be added back at a half dose.
6/15 - Watered with 2L each and half a dose of nutrients. Everything looks good and the plants still seem happy.
6/16 - Same 2L of water, may need more for #1 & #3 depending how they drain.
6/17 - Came home late, didn't water or do anything.
6/18 - Watered with 3L each since I didn't last night. It showed in how things looked tonight. Hopefully that will get fixed now that they have water.
6/19 - 3L for #1 & #3 with 2L for #2 since it still feels slightly damp but not enough to skip watering. It's all looking better today for sure.
6/20 - 3L again for #1 & #3 and only 2L for #2. They have definitely stopped growing up and are now working on bulking up the buds. You can smell more of a pine scent now than just generic plant scent than even yesterday.
6/21 - 2L each with nutrients for tonight, not much else.
6/22 - 2L each with just Pro Cal and a little cleanup. Everything is going great.
6/23 - 2L each with Grow & Flower only to balance everything from last night.
6/24 - 3L of water all around tonight with just Pro Cal. Very little drained off last night and I'm so close to the end I don't want to drop the ball now.
Running a bit late this week but I've kept notes.
6/25 - 1L of water for #3 only. The other two were still really wet today.
6/26 - 3L of water with nutrients now that everything is pretty equal. Getting some drainage right away but I don't know if it's enough.
6/27 - Another 3L of water with Pro Cal only. There wasn't as much drained off as I thought from last night. The plants don't look dry so I'm not under watering them.
6/28 - 2L for #2 and 3L each for #1 & #3 with Bloom solution. They drained off a bit more from last night so things should be good.
6/29 - Finally had a good flush after last night. I didn't think they were as dry as they actually were. Because of that I backed down to 2L each with quarter strength Grow and Pro Cal. They are starting to pick up a citrus note if you get in close.
6/30 - No water, everything was still really wet. The drain pan for #2 was pretty full so it was a pain to dump out.
7/1 - 2L of water each with Bloom solution tonight. This should be the last time they get fed so I have 2 weeks to flush before chopping.
For the next 2 weeks it's all just water. You can see the colors coming in on the buds so I have to be close. I think I'll start clipping more leaves now that shocking the plant isn't as big of a deal.
7/2 - 2L of just water. I want to make sure everything is flushed before chopping them.
7/3 - Just 2L of water again and cleaned things up.
7/4 - Just water and that's it.
7/5 - Another 2L of water.
7/6 - 2L of water again. #3 is near the end and I should of started flushing it last week from the look of things. Either that or #1 & #2 are going to be a few days behind #3. Had to take off some leaves that the plant has used up since they were done. I can see there will be more soon. It's an experience to see them at the end and using their stored nutrients.
7/7 - I found a small bud I missed during the cleanup of #3 so I took that and trimmed it. I'll let it dry out and give it a test in a few weeks. It's not much but should be a good test. Still 2L of just water.
7/8 - 2L only for #3. The other 2 aren't using as much water now for sure. The top of the coco isn't even dry tonight.
It's been a start to this week, I'll give it that. Running a bit behind but it's all good.
7/9 - Another round with 2L of water and now I'm having to remove dead leaves from #3. I don't think I let it go too far but I think the flush could have started a week earlier.
7/10 - 2 liters of water only again all around. I was on the fence about watering #1 & #2 but went with it since it's coco and the worst that will happen is it runs off.
7/11 - Really getting some color on #1 now and starting to see it on #2 for sure. I was sure #3 was going to be delayed for the longest time since it germinated a day later than the other two and stayed the smallest for a while. Right now #3 looks amazing and will have to come down this week. The other two may get a few extra days to be sure.
7/12 - 2L for #1 & #3 along with getting rid of more dead leaves.
7/13 - 2L of water for each. The smell is getting stronger for sure now.
7/14 - 2L of water each. Didn't do much else but these are getting close. I tried the little buds I took off a week and a half ago and it's really good. The taste was pine, incense, with some citrus. The taste was on point for the strain. It wasn't much and I can't wait until the rest is done.
I'm sure I'll hit my 1 pound goal when everything is dried and processed. I could have trimmed much more without concern but from everything I read on autoflowers you can over-trim and have problems. I don't think I'll do 3 plants with each in a 5 gallon pot again anytime soon. It's going to take me a while to get this all sorted and stored.
All that said, if you want to go for a large harvest Seedsman has the genetics to get you there. The plants were all pretty easy to grow and look amazing. In a future run I'd want to stagger the grow but it would be difficult with one tent. Starting a plant every four weeks would be the way to go for sure if you can pull it off.
I'll update more later since I don't know how different #1 & #2 are.
