This autoflowering strain emanates from a cross of an elite Strawberry Banana clone with specially selected plants from Sweet Seeds Red Poison Auto®️ (SWS39) autoflowering strain known for its purple flowers.
The plants follow a mainly indica grow pattern and produce compact red buds covered with an abundance of trichomes. Red Strawberry Banana Auto®️ (SWS90) is excellent for high-quality, aromatic resin extractions with purple, pink or reddish hues. Around 75% of plants develop purple flowers.
Soil Plagron Ligtmix
Germinated in soil plugs.
Added some Mycorrhiza when placing pot.
Day 5 in the morning, I moved the soil a bit to allow more air into root zone.
I did first-time practice with watering bigger amount of water (0.5l) when planting, to help Mycorrhiza to activate.
Next watering will be with smaller dosage, so the roots can stretch in search of water. I think in two days.
Day 7 Sprayed everything with Propolix®️ to prevent funguses.
For now she looks a bit pale with some pattern on the leaves. I will keep observing, how she behaves.
Humidity is about 70% with 26-27°C day temperature.
Week 2
This strawberry Banana still looks a bit pale, looks like some kind of mutation, but she grows on normal pace, so I will let her be.
She is the tallest, probably due to less chlorophyll.
Lamp is at 90cm, 55% power and I increase a little everyday from now on.
Humidity is 65% with 27°C, and 19 in the night.
Week 3
My lightest ever plant is still growing with not bad pace. I'm glad I let her be, it will be nice to observe how such plant performs.
She was stretching a bit too much, which I think is caused by less chlorophyll, so I just bend her a bit. Nothing fancy.
Humidity is about 62-64% with temperature 26-27°C during the day, and 19°C in the night.
Friend of mine minded me that strawberry genes tend to be lighter, so this might be just her appearance.
Week 4
So she still has some issues with chlorophyll. I did order soil pH pen. It just came in, and pH is somewhere round 5.9. So I will try to rise it with next few waterings.
I thought it is genetics problem but looks like it is in medium. I'm happy to be able to put some theory into practice with new tool.
Humidity 70%, temperature 27°C day, 19°C night.
Day 24 pH in soil raised by 0.2 with first watering. Loving my pH soil pen 😍. I can already see that bigger leaves fill with chlorophyll a bit more. Nice
Week 5.
This lady as expected is looking kinda funky, kinda small and laggy. She had her problems from the beginning.
Started to flower pretty early, so she won't be a giver imo.
Flowers looks pretty tho, I'm very curious how she will progress with her colour.
I don't like to kill plants, so her we have Quasimodo strawberry banana:D
Another week.
This baby had her problems from the beginning, but I'm glad I kept her. Another seed I popped also has issues from day 1, so might be something with my batch of seeds.
But...
OMFG, I don't know if it is because of stress, but the terpene profile is completely unexpected. Fresia with lemon flower in bloom. I'm enchanted. Never before had such scent with me, I want more!
Grow me some big buds baby, and I promise to buy more seeds :D
Hello guys, I neglected diaries lately.
My cat has given birth to little kittens and this takes a lot of attention.
Girls are soon soon finishing, so mostly rippening is happening right now.
Strawberry Banana still look like a complete weirdo but I don't mind, because flowers are dense and smell like flower field.
Hard not to love it. I will try her again in living soil.
