This week was mostly about LST.
-I'm bending the lowest and second lowest branches to get a wider plant. The aim is that once flowering starts, most tops are around the same height and more spread out, getting the same amount of light without too much blocking eachother.
-I'm also doing LST on the base of the plant. The stem had taken a bend and hoping to lead it in a more curved way aroud the pot. No idea if this will actually work and if it will lead to more equal sized branches and hopefully a higher yield. I will update on this in the future, but feel free to share your thoughts or experiences😊
Doing all this keeps the plant a bit more limited in size. It's now 30 cm tall at day 26 after sprouting from soil. But overall development is great! A lot of quickly growing leaves and branches, very happy with how things are going.
The other thing I did this week was use extra nutrition. Technically it's a product to boost your tomatoes, but I've read and heard from multiple people that cannabis and tomatoes are very similar in needs and grow circumstances.
It's a small 5 gram bag of power with an NPK or 6-5-2 and 2 magnesium that you had to mix with 1 liter of water (the diary for nutrients didn't let me add grams, so I filled in 50ml/L on this page). That was 48 hours ago and I notice no bad reaction. Will probably add another one in 1-2 weeks. Curious if this will make any noticable difference in development or yield.
On the last day of this week I noticed the first pistils showing up. Overall everything is going great and excited to see how fast she's growing!
