Hi Growers, I am really excited to start this diary. The reason I decided to pick these seeds is to have variety among Indica and Sativa.
All the seeds germinated nicely (soaked up in Rhizotonic water for 16 hours and then 16 hours in paper towel method). They will sit under 125w CFL for the first 10-12 days.
I started with RQS (Royal Gorilla, Royal Dwarf) and FastBuds (Green Crack and Girl Scout Cookies). The first mistake I did was to use Biobizz All Mix soil for my seedline.
Apparently, All Mix soil from BioBizz is too heavy for little seedlings and due to this, I noticed what looked like a nute burn in the embryonic leaves. I had to throw away the germinated Royal Gorilla due to All Mix heavy pre-feed (it killed the seedling - I guess?), which I've replaced with Amnesia Haze and using Light Mix soil for that in a small seedling container.
I am also going light on Rhizotonic thinking All Mix soil is already fertilized. All the ladies are looking nice now and I will transplant them into their final pot (coco) during week 2 (running 315w LEC) when I have a good root system developed.
Got occupied with some other work and didn't pay attention to these ladies for 2-3 days. Tomorrow (Day 14) I am going to transplant these ladies into their final 3 gal pot and start feeding. I haven't started any feeding other than Rhizotonic yet.
17.08.18 - Transplanted the ladies into 3 Gallon smart pots on the first day of the third week. I wanted to do that in the middle of the second week but due to some work, it got delayed. I still have around 2 weeks of veg left and hopefully, they will pick up the speed.
Oh, next time I am not going to smoke a blunt before transplanting and preparing the substrate since I accidentally dropped heavy clay pebbles on GS Cookies and Green Cack. They were buried under the pebbles for about 20 secs. I skipped a heartbeat when it happened but I am sure these girls are strong.
I have been away for 4 days and didn't water the plants but the water retaining capacity of Coco along with claystone and air pump helped a lot and they didn't look like starving when I got back.
One more week of veg and then flowering starts.
06.10.18 - Fed these ladies after 3 days. Saw a little yellowing of leaves which is apparent due to the late feeding. I am sure they will kick back in.
However, I see some brown spots on Girl Scout Cookies. I think it is probably Cal deficiency and I really hope it is not some kind of mites prob. I only see these brown spotting (mid leaves) on GSC with the same feeding schedule as the other girls.
07.10.17 - Increased the nutes dosage in the middle of the week. Pre-flowering started not and I am going to start adding some light flowering nutes along with the grow nutes during the whole next week.
There are some random brown spots on the old leaves but the new leaves are looking fine so far. I will stop using Bio Grow starting from week 7 and only going to feed flowering nutes,
Showing sign of light green colour. So I am going to uptake my nutes a little bit for the next 2 weeks. There has been some problem with the PH during the whole grow when I was using the liquid drop test method but since I got my PH digital meter I've been keeping it around 5.8.
Don't have many pics during this week. My iPhone has suddenly started taking pictures in HEIC format after the upgrade which is not supported by this site. I had to convert the pics in jpeg format which I just found out.
A little bit nutes burn / cal-mag prob?? However, the ladies are doing very well and buds have started to swell up. Today, I harvested a couple of plants for my other diary (growing in the same tent) thus giving these ladies more space to breathe and all the branches are under the direct light.
Looking forward to the next coming weeks.

Amazing flavour and one of my fav strain to go so far. Very nice head high and smell irresistible.
P.S -> After Christmas holidays my laptop hard drive got corrupted and I lost all my harvested pics. I had to take a couple of pics later on to complete my diary.
Pretty decent strain. However, my other plants were better smelling and tasting as compare to GC.

@GreenZone 1/2 dosage on nutes is fine, but I really hope you are keeping an eye on the ph levels. It looks like you keep posting 6ph every week. Ideal ph is 5.8 for soiless/hydro grows. Keep an eye on your ph an adjust when needed. (I've been adjusting mine every day lately). Good luck with your grow.
@GreenZone, not sure, but def have nitrogen deficiency. Up the nutes a bit, toss in some cal mag supplement, and add some hydroguard for your roots, get ph to 5.8. How does the roots of that plant look.
@BeefWellingtons, Do you think the recent brown spotting on leaves is caused by ph problem? I think it is Cal deficiency but I do not see that on any other plants (yet)?
@GreenZone, You are in luck! For organics, you can use lime, lemon, or apple cider vinegar for ph down. For ph up you can use baking soda. There is also a product called earth juice natural (both ph up and ph down) for organic grows. I use apple cider vinegar for my ph down on my soil grow. If I add too much I just dump it out and start over. PH Test drops work fine imo, but the pen just makes things easier especially for hydro/soilless grows cause you end up testing a lot more often.
@CRiSPrGrow, Yes I am adding a custom enzyme (my grow shop guy gave it to me in a small ziplock bag) with alternate feeding.
I shall stop feeding the enzymes that regularly and probably stick to twice a week schedule.
Not sure what is causing that or I am not sure even I could see the problem. It is definitely not under/over watering and light is more than 24 inches away from the top of the plants.
Shall I go light on nutrients? I am giving them half of the recommended dosage. Perhaps, I will follow water - nutes - water - nutes schedule.
It could be the transplanting shock as well. Oh man, so many things can happen with these beauties.
I did not think that allmix was so powerful ... I used cannaprofessionalplus and I found myself very well ... no problem during the whole vegetative phase ... have fun ...
Perhaps it was my mistake (I can’t be sure). However, I saw nutes stress sign in the other 3 strains but they started to grow just fine. I have also seen the note in BioBizz feed chat which suggests “do not use all mix for seedlings”. I will upload a picture of that for future reference.
@MurderMidz, I have never grown photos yet. I am planning to run the next batch of autos again in the coming week. I love growing autos and since my stash of the last harvest won't last me 3 months I am going run autos again :)
The PH is on spot (5.8 - 5.9) and I am feeding them every alternate day with half a strength. Light to canopy distance is also sufficient. Maybe I will do a flush with Subculture and no nutrients for a day or two. Also, I am preparing the same batch of water + nutrients for all of them and perhaps they want to be fed differently. It is easier to run less number of different strains in a single grow tent to rectify the problem. One thing I will include in the future grows is to add a Cal-Mag supplement.
Good luck with your grow. I have more room in my tent now since I have harvest 2 other plants (another diary) thus giving more room to these 4 ladies. I will upload even better pictures starting today.
yeah, I have been considering cal-mag supplement in my other grow too, However, my tap water should have a sufficient amount of these micro nutes. Will keep an eye for the next few days.
Good luck on the grow! I’m just finishing up on Royal dwarf and boy she is a beauty for her size! Some nice dense nugs 😍 I’ve just ordered amnesia haze from RQS! Can’t wait to see how yours turn out 😁👌🏻
