Day 96(57 flower): a haze of smoke is filling the valley air. It was daylight at 420 am because the smoke and fog were spreading the suns light even though it was still a ways over the horizon. The smoke is adding co2 and brightness level is at a high.
I’ve let the temperature drop to 8c on some nights and she didn’t change a tone in colour. The Orange Sherbet traits are dominant in this plant.
Day 97: development is at its peak trichromes are ripening with at least 10% amber. I’m flushing with Ph'd water and h2o2 for the last few days.
Weather outlook is bleak with mostly rainy and cloudy in til harvest date. That being sad I clocked a total of more than 45 out of 63 days of good sun for this flowering period.
Including a lot of phenomenal days with perfect highs/lows and only 8 days of hot stressful weather over 28c.
Day 99: Around 90% of hairs have turned orange. The trichromes are sitting at around 30% amber mostly cloudy and still some clear. Its been 36 hours with no nutrients and she's still growing lush n green. It's very dark outside today so it is my grow light's turn to shine.
June 19, 2023: 11:21 am: I tied all my colas up to the light. Idk if its been done but I'm calling it brunching (branch bunching).
A technique I use when a plant used to outdoor sunlight is brought indoors to a lower light setting.
My light footprint is small so I tie all the colas to go from covering a 3ftx3ft area to a 1.5ftx1.5ft essentially halfing the square area to benefit the colas and ensure maximum efficiency in lighting. I did end up removing a number is leaves that blocked light penetration as well.
