Hello ! Your plant looks healthy to me , you' using a mix between light mix and bat mix so your plant should had enough nutrients for the 3 first weeks , I can see that you used Algua grow at half of the recommended chart which is a smart mouve however I don't bet on a Nitrogen toxicity , your plant would have been more dark green than that. No nutrients burn neither , to me your tips are not even yellow but pale green , let the new leaves the time to get bigger and if the yellowing spreads then you will have to worry. Also agreed with bulbi , you should hve continue the grow nutrients untill the 2nd week of flowering ( but if a nitrogen toxicity is proven then it's the best thing you could have done). I hope it will help you 😁👍

some babies (BAM #1 - AGB#1-2-3) have begun to yellow the leaves at the top, i don't know what it can be :( I tried to give them only water but the problem seems get worst, so i thought that maybe can be too much light and tried to set to 18/4 instead 21/3. Any advice?

So here's my answer to your grow question . For the yellowing what you are seeing is a light case of nutrient burn , don't panic its nothing you can't fix my recommendation to you is that you lower they amount of times your plants being fed , not watered but fed with nutrients as well as adjusting the strength of your solution to be a little lower to me its looking like you may have over fed them just a bit . With that being said until your satisfied with how the yellowing stops I would only feed them with PH corrected water . The thing you must understand is that when ever you feed your plants with nutrients they will never uptake it all 100% so some of it stay's in the soil and over time the soil get to be what we know as "hot" thus affecting the root mass leading to nutrient burns . So the best thing to do in order to help prevent this from happening is feed with nutrients every 2nd or 3rd feeding this way you can ensure the soil will never be too hot for your root mass . As for the curling leaves that's classic sign of heat stress you can correct this many different ways , the most cost effective way of course is simply to move the light up or if your plants are raised above ground to lower them closer to the ground . You can also purchase a cool tube reflector combo which essentially uses your exhaust fan to cool your light allowing it to be closer to your plants without the risk of heat stress . I hope the info I've provided you with has helped you on your journey to becoming a grow master ! - Happy Growing!

Week 5 started, babies are stretching really fast and entered in flowering stage. I changed the nutrient from Alga Grow to Alga Bloom, still half dose of that suggested, maybe next watering I'll go to 3/4 and start to add Green Sensation As you can notice in pictures, all new leaves have light green/yellow tips and I don't know what it can be :( I even noticed this that seems a little bit of magnesium deficiency in AGB #2. Do you think I have to worry about this issues?

I did autos on 22/2 had so many problems. Guessing your doing it for the cold like I was. I found the roots didnt like constant heat

Hi @krippy! These are the first signs of a Nitrogen toxicity. Considering you're growing autoflowering strains, you should be very careful about the nutrient intakes, since autos are usually very sensitive to nutrients, they don't need such doses of fertilizers. In this situation I would flush the medium for 2~4 days with plain pH'd water then see how it goes. Don't give any nutrient until the new growth have stopped showing burnt tips. Affected leaves won't recover but the yellowing/burning should not spread if you treat your medium asap. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

@Stick, thank you so much for the answer, I was thinking about it but wasn't sure because I gave just half dosages, I'll do as you suggested next watering ;) Did it... watered with 1ml/litre of enzymes and checked the EC runoff... All plants have a runoff EC between 2.6 and 3.2

no, you don't need to check PPM/EC with organics nutrients
krippy
krippycommented6 years ago
@Stick, even with organics nutrients? I tried one time to read ppm but the measurement was very low... I knew that instruments don't read them... I'll try to read the runoff next time...

Curious, do you know your PPM?

So I gave today (day 29) just water with 1ml/litre of enzymes and checked the EC runoff... All plants have a runoff EC between 2.6 and 3.2 so not so high I think
