Babies are coming along swimmingly and continue to be outside full time. The larger plants average 6 inches tall and I have started to lst half of them. They are 4 weeks 4 weeks from seed and about 3.5 from when they actually broke ground.
The smaller plants were started a week behind the larger ones and average 4-4.5 inches tall.
I have not had to add any nutes due to the ffof still supplying plenty. I will continue to monitor this. I’ve been giving the larger plants a quarter gallon, sometimes daily depending on how hot it is. At 80 degrees I can water and wait a day or two but when it’s in the upper 80’s and lower 90’s they need water once a day.
Grow is going relatively well so far though I was having some issues with dampening off. Oddly, I have never had that issue with photo seeds so not sure what to make of it. I think 10 plants are healthy and one is in quarantine and in life support. I think I may have saved it but time will tell. Will post again next Friday
@TangoNCash,
Thanks and hope your grow is going well. Not sure that I will do autos again next year. A lot will depend on the dry yield I get. If I average less than an ounce a plant, I will not consider them worth continuing as I can easily get a pound or more quality bud on a full photo. I like their compact size and the fact I will have a harvest by early July. That being said, they are much more finicky. Next year I can envision doing one early crop of 10 autos and starting 2 full photos at the same time. That might be a better mix as it will give me a nice, early harvest head stash during the summer and yield me plenty for the rest of the year with the full photos.
