This was a clone off a flowering plant. Put in a rapid rooter with rooting gel and inside a clone dome. Tried to mist once or twice a day
Transplanted into coco/soil shortly after the roots were coming out of the rapid rooter
Did some aggressive lollipopping, LST with string, and scrog net.
Up until now have been watering every other day, but need to switch to every day.
See some indications of light burn so will turn the lights down a bit
Moved to the bigger 5x5 tent which allowed the plant to spread out more. The new tent has 2x Viparspectra XS1000 (same as last tent) along with 1 Viparspectra P4000
Used the scrog net to even the canopy out and spread the branches as much as possible
Plant looks very happy
Did a lot of defoliation, there were just too many leaves. Set up an auto watering system which is in manual mode right now
Plant is very happy! Trichomes starting to form
This pheno doesn't have huge buds so we'll see how much it yields. The mother plant didn't form large bud structure either. This clone did have larger bud structure than the mother plant.
Even though the buds are smaller than other strains I've grown, they got very dense
This pheno has a very strong piney, gassy smell
Lots of thick trichomes
Harvested on 2023-09-22. Flushed for 3 days before harvest
Forced to harvest just as the top colas started to form amber before I had to go out of town. Didn't get the auto watering system working well enough to leave the plant alone for that long.
Drying as 3 large branches, keeping it as close to 60/60 as possible in the summer heat
Very strong smell!
@accela_resonance, usually you won’t see burning so uniform in nature. The leaves looked to have perfect markings where the burning was lol. That was my only thought. You seem to have got it under control tho. Good stuff man!
No I didn't test the runoff, i should do that next time i have to flush. I'll try to identify if it is a deficiency and keep a close eye on it. It hasn't affected the young leaves as much and the burn seems to have slowed down.
I think i did water with some higher PH water once or twice
Lolli popped + defoliated aggressively a week before switching to flower.
I'll probably defoliate a bit more this week. Clearing out the lower material, small branches that have regrown, small branches that won't have enough space in the canopy and some larger leaves blocking nodes.
I practice tucking between defoliation
