Germination
Hey, This will be my first grow with GB Seeds. 1st thing i noticed is i had 2 seeds not germinating and after contact them, GB asked to send the seeds back by mail. In this tent there are 1x Apple&Bazookiez GB, 1x Mimosa Cocktail GB and 1x Tropicanna Poison XL Auto by Sweetseeds. In the small propagator theres germinated seeds for other tent measuring 1m x 1m x 2m. There we have 2x White Truffles GB, 1x Apple&Bazookiez GB and 1x Green Poison by Sweet Seeds. The method in all of them will be DWC but soon I'll make a DWC vs Organic Soil comparison, side by side. Good grows

First week for the Apple& Bazookiez GB and the Mimosa Cocktail GB to grow roots on the expanded clay of the 50L box container. The Tropicanna Poison XL Auto - Sweetseeds it's in her own 8L vase but in rockwool. This was the first feed EC - 0.85 PH - 6.0 The propagator has the other plants ready to go to their own tent 1m x 1m x 2m. Plants are 2x White Truffles GB, 1x Apple& Bazookiez GB and 1x Green Poison fast version by Sweetseeds. The temps are increasing outside the grow tent since its approaching summer in Portugal. 28°C outside has been normal. The temperatures inside range between 19°C to 26°C. The water temperatures range between 19°C and 21.5°C. Humidity is ranging between 40% and 65%. Exaust fan in on bare minimum and turning onn at the 25°C mark. Good week growers.

This week beacause of the difficulty in controling the water temperatures and tent humidity we had early signs of pythium in the auto flower. So i treated it with one hour of 8ml per liter of H2O2 and changed the reservoir for new nutes and 0.5ml/L of H2O2, instead of great white. Besides that, everything's ok and the other 2 plants are starting to root. If the others start to show signs of root rot as well, ill change the whole grow from great white to H2O2. The Apple&Bazookiez showed signs from the beginning of a mutation. Have one strange looking leaf and 3/4 branch of shoots on the top, without any damaging, fimming or topping. Good week, good grows

This week everything is starting to going great again. We started last week treating pithium on the roots of the Tropicanna Poison XL Auto...so...that failed. Not only the nutrient solution has H2O2 as it was treated for 1 hour in a high concentration of H2O2 as well. So i cutted the evil by the roots, quite literally. 25/5 I cutted the affected part of the root and it's alredy growing very fast. Some leaves were affected, turning yellow, but with the right response they alredy getting green and good looking again. As for the other 2, no problems at all. They doubled the size since last week. Root development is pretty good for the their age. PH is on 5.8 and 5.9 and the EC are around 0.4 plus the tap water EC. PPFD are around 300 and 430 depending on the location of each plant. Humidity as always for me is getting difficult to control. The temps are not bad at all, but getting to close to 27° which for me is the red line. See you grommies next week. Good grows

Great week! The auto recovered very fast from the previous weeks pithium. Roots are white and keep growing non stop. Plant looks healthy and ready for another feed in a couple of days. This plant is the proof, that with proper care,pl plants can withstand a lot. Yellow leaves became green again with a N and S reforce. The 2 GB photoperiods are growing vigorously. Thick stems , stalks and leaves. The mimosa oldest leaf is HUGE. Both have strong Indica aesthetics. Topped them both and main line them a couple of days ago (1/06). Probably there will be just another topping before flower, since im trying to end up with a max of 8 colas per plant max, otherwise they wont fit the tent after stretch.

Hey growmies, ( Switched to 12/12 at 11/06/2023) Another week, new challenges... So 4/5 days ago i did the last topping, leaving the 2 photoperiods with 8 main shoots each, but then i went in a short vacation and left the plants alone. Yesterday when i returned, there were a couple of problems to deal with. The two topped plants grew a bit uneven and i had to rotate them to see if some of the branches can keep up with the others. My monkey hands almost completely broke a branch in the Mimosa so that one will be left untied. Mimosa is reveling herself to be much harder to train than Apple&Bazookiez, as the stems are much thicker, brittle and not so bendie I refilled the reservoirs with PH water with H2O2 (at this point im going steril instead of good bacteria becauseof the temperatures) and fed the plants.( small explanation to the feeding system below). The Tropicanna Auto had other problems. 1st of all, the nutrient solution droped the ph to 3.7 causing a nutrient lockdown leaving the plant yellow. I corrected this yesterday and currently waiting to see if it solves the deficiencies now showing. 2nd the root issues that are now cured, stunted the growth. The plant is small and with thin branches and leaves. Being an unpredictable Auto as they are, the flowering started and some white pistils are alredy showing. I'll start to introduce Bloom nutrients gradually. I've also increased the ppfd to 450 and fed both to 0.75 and 0.80 ms/cm ( 0.35 and 0.40 + tap water). The quantities of each nutrients is for a "concentrated" juice, that I use to feed the plants. I add the concentrate to the water reservoir until it reaches the desired EC. There's a Veg juice and a Bloom juice. This week's has the veg juice recipe posted on the nutrient segment. The Bloom juice will be added gradually once the flower starts. It actually already started for the Auto and it alredy was feed with 80% Veg Juice and 20% Bloom Juice. The nutrients used aren't actually GHE since now it's T.A Terra Aquatica and the formula isn't 100% the same. The CaliMagic is in this case Calcium and Magnesium by T.A ( not the same concentrations of Ca0 and MgO) Good week and good grows Ps. Not sure if I mentioned it last week but I took 4 clones ( 2 of each photoperiod plant) and they should be starting to root in less than a week now.

Hey growmies, This week was about hands on the plants. The plants are hungry since I switched last week to 12/12. I've been feeding them every other day since it usually takes 2 days for the ppm to drop sufficiently. On the 15th, I've defoliated all the plants and cutted some offshoots that weren't worth it on the Tropicanna. Every day I've been adjusting the lines so they're as even as they can be at the cannopy. Hope next week the 2 photos are alredy flowering Good grows

Things are starting to get really smelly...the tent...the living room...the garden outside. Can't really tell which one is it but I suppose most of it come from the Troppicana, since it's the only one flowering yet. Hope this is the last vegetation week I post. Altough I alredy changed the lights to 12/12 a couple weeks ago, I only start to count flowering period as I see white pistils on the plants. Tried a awsome home made scrog I've built but maintenence becomes tricky. Almost impossible to read ph and ppm, add water or change waters. Summer is here since the 21st and yesterday was 36°C (96.8 F). So the temperatures 🌡️ obviously increased in the tent reaching 28°C (82.4 F). Probably gonna have to buy an Ac and/or a water chiller. 💧 electricity bills will go up much more than I'm comfortable with. So this smoke better be goooood🌴 That's it for this week. Good grows 🌲

Nothing to worry about, did you spray the leaves when the light was on, looks like water drop burns or just a drop come off your water bottle while feeding...Nothing much to worry about..

This is it for another week! Every plant flowering, altough Mimosa is a bit behind. This week im adding a 2nd Led Fixture. I was choosing between an 100w farming monkey with L281B leds and a 120w Evocrop with fewer leds but L301H so I went with the 2nd one. It was what I've found available and budget friendly. So adding to the sf1000 i have now 220w of full spectrum led light. I hope it doesnt increase the temperatures a lot. Im spending too much money on weed😁 so this new investment should improve the yelds and help me with that. Good grows

Just purchased a Led panel. Due to lack of availability of mainstream grow lights in Portugal and me not wanting to wait, agains all my good reasoning I've bought something i dont know. Let's hope it works good. So I purchased an dimmable 120W Evocrop wallace v1. Uses LM301H diodes and advertises a 500pff + whatever the specs are for my Spider farmer sf1000. So I'm currently running 220w instead of the old 250w hps for my 80cm x 80cm. The current ppfd I'm aiming at this point for this early flower stage is around 650. I achieved it by putting the lights at 75% at roughly 43cm. Ec are at 0.55 above tap water and the ph is tending to drop but I maintain it at 5.8 to 6.0. Smells are getting amazing. Each strains has it own aroma but right now the sweetness of the Troppicana is overwhelming. Next week I'm going to defoliate a little a cut the offshoots / small branches I believe are not worth it. Or they are smaller than half the size of the plant and get no light or bud growth to low on the plant it would be larf. This is it for another week. Good grows 🌲

Week ended with no real issues to take care off. Just maintaining the PH and EC on the correct parameters. Flowers are getting bigger everywhere on the plants and the smells are intense. The two lights seem to work fine together without major heat issues. Altought the temperatures outside are hotter by the day as all Europe is struggling with an heat wave. Let's see how it will develop. Good grows 🌲

Do the leaves look too dark? I've had Nitrogen toxicity in the past so i look out for not feeding to much of it, specially in flower. But the apple&bazookiez buds are not fattening as much as i wish to, despite being rock hard. Does it look loke to much nitrogen?

So good news, bad news! The good news is the flowers on the Mimosa Evo are biiig and getting fatter by the day. The plant is resinous and smells amazingly sweet and fruity. But...thats it for the good news. The bad news are Apple&Bazookiez flowers altought rock hard are very small and give no signs of growing bigger or fatter. They also also tend to foxtail which i don't particularly love. The flowers on the Troppicana Poison XXL Auto altought as the other ones, filled with thicomes, are also slim, mainly because it's an Auto on a 12/12 tent so...that was expected. On more serious issous a believe i have (hopefully the beginning) of Nitrogen toxicity which is very strange considering the small amount of N i give in the flowering stage. So I've reffiled the res completely and cutted the EC to only 0.2. When the dark green starts to fade, i think ill give them a week of PK ( maybe rookzbastik) or other simmilar finisher. Tell me what you think. Good grows

Guys I'm currently in week 6 of flowering. But the trichomes on the Apple&Bazookiez are like 70% white, 15% ambar and 15% clear.Never had such a short flowering period. Is this normal?

It could have been growing style or something within that individual plant that caused it to ripen so fast. I've had this done on my one recent grow as well. it seemed like it was finished to fast and did not grow long enough but the trichomes where all pointing to im ready same with the pistils. I agree with the below statement of chop now, then start the dry and cure process, if you regrow this strain and it does the same thing maybe not the best one to grow out if you want a longer flowering period, but could be a option for a shorter flower period as well if you want one done faster. to clarify clear trichomes does not mean no THC, cloudy is ideal but clear still with get yea to where you need to be, amber triches are degradation, less THC more CBN, couch lock weed and sleepy. I don't like anything more then 10% amber for my own consumption. I also look at the buds vs sugar leafs for trichome status. Good Luck!

It's all on Auto pilot now. The Apple&Bazookiez are almost ready...honestly I've alredy choped a few branches...the ones that were alredy more mature and ready. As for the mimosa, at least 2 weeks until finished. I started 2 weeks ago with just plain water with a bit o PK juice. This time was rokzbastic from Atami. Now its just water supposedly until the end! Altough the Apple&Bazookiez flowers are eay smaller than the coca-cola can size buds on the Mimosa cocktails, the first has an even more beautiful display of colors. The smell is head to head, with mimosa being much more fuity and sweet.

I cant believe how FAT Mimosa got. Looks like it's on a McDonald's only diet...big, juicy and shiny this one is. The fade is on half way alredy and despite i cuted a couple of branches on the Apple&Bazookiez, I've decidid to let it go another week. Colours on this one are stunning. Red and purple buds and fades all over. Despite the slim rock hard nuggets i believe the thc and terpenes are going to make up for the lack of weight. They have been on straight ph water for the last 2 weeks and thats how they going to be for the last 1 and 2 weeks respectively. See you on next Sunday. Good grows🌲

This is almost it. Everything is almost ready to cut down...and it was about time. For the first time im dealing, right in the end of flowering with bud rot exclusively in the Mimosa. Which is not very strange considering the coke can size flowers. Apple and the Auto should be just on point. Until this point one week before cutting it, MiMosa must have lost about 30g to bud rot. I've cutted the affected flower 🌼 parts and decreased RH to as low as I could and the fans running 100%. Let's wait another week and see. Good grows

I was hopping for fatter buds. The flowers were full of resin and turned purple but stayed very small in comparison. All the seeds I've bought germinated but not normally, growing into weird hybrids. They've matured really early, no idea why. I've cutted a couple of branches on week 6 of flowering and they were stronger than the week 8 harvest. The smell is good, the structure of the palt isn't bad. A litle bit more internode space than I care for, but very usable. Produced round flowers, small but very very hard . Not even close to the advertised +30% THC but we were alredy expecting it.

This one was an extra inside the tent. I don't usually grow more than 2 plants on that size tent. Sadly the got summer gave it early pithium altought I've worked it out. The smells on this strain are great and the taste is great too. The plant was packed with flowers, slim ones tough because of the decreased light cycle. Being an Auto in a 12/12 tent. It was a pain in the ass to trimm, but its done. Didn't gave any trouble at all besides the root rot and accepts a lot. I recommend it.

Last days of the Mimosa Cocktail 🍸 alive. Fat Fat girl...clean looking...smelly...sticky not much more one can ask for. That being said she has some problems, obviously 🙄. Due to bud rot aka diabetes she has lost at least 30+ grams of bud on the top flowers. Since she's alone and its not spreading that fast I'm hopping I can leave it until week 10 of flowering which is in 6 days now.

What a great strain. Flavorfull everyday smoke with amazing aromas. The bud structure is awsome. A very very very large cola on top of a branch full of golf balls. The resistance to disease is not great as it was the only 1 of 3 different strains that suffered bud rot. Due to that i estimate ive lost abou 40 grams and still it weighed 188. This one if carefull is a keeper🙌
