Critical Kush LED First Diary

McKush420 Started this grow in celebration of the passing of bill c-45. Decided to give Barneys a try. Critical kush seemed right up my alley.

McKush420 Started to feed this week. Leaves were a little drooped but I installed a fan inside my tent a pumped that stock up. Better ventilation was a must anyhow.

McKush420 Nice progress this week. Nice fresh smell developing from the vegging plant. Defiantely seeing the Kush genetics coming through with lots of internode development beginning. Wide blade leaves and round edges have me thinking I have a decent pheno on my hands.

McKush420 The topping i did last week was a definate success. Lots of undergrowth poking up is telling me it's time to start to flower this pretty girl. No show of pre flowers but because of my low power light I think it's best to keep this canopy low. Tucking leaves and pulling branches.

McKush420 I love seeing results so quickly from nutes. Feed on Sunday and results by Tuesday its. Amazing. High humidity in my basement has made watering less frequent but keeping airflow going is making her happy. Still no signs of any flowers. I'll be patient and wait for the stretch to come.

McKush420 Pistils have arrived! She is stretching to make room for future bud sites. This is always my favorite time. The day to day changes are amazing to watch. Trying different distances for this LED not completely sure as this manufacturer's instructions were not specific.

McKush420 The tops I trimmed have made a definate appearance. Was hoping for more but four main colas will suffice. Nice white hairs and internodes are everywhere you look. Nice tight development is making me very happy. Smells of pine and crisp green are filling my tent

McKush420 Looks like kush. Smells like kush. This girl reminds me of the last round of OG I grew big time. Bright green calyx development and bushy round indica leaves. I read some poor reviews of this strain recently but its proving otherwise. This has been the lowest maintenance grow I've ever had.

McKush420 She Stinks! Not using an air scrubber or filter has been ok SO FAR. I think I might need to bust out the filter. Its like a punch in the face opening my front door. I love it lol. This strain seems to be very resilient to high humidity. Doing all I can including my dehumidifier but cant get it all. Seems to be no issue so far. I'm sure the stretch is done and she is beginning to fill out.

McKush420 Long spindly buds are transforming into round masses of tight woven calyx clusters. I had a power outage this week during what shiuld have been lights on. She survived unscathed, just a little extra beauty rest. I'm slightly concerned about trichrome development. Patience will be the key.

McKush420 Calyx swell and trichromes everywhere. I dialed er back on the nutes and started a flush. I have some really cool looking two tone reds and purples starting. It looks like fall in my grow tent. Sweet smells of skunk and pine are very pungent. Trying my best to keep humidity down.

McKush420 Trichromes have began to amber and majority cloudy. I have 4 other girls that need the space so I'm going to pull this one. Pretty much 8 weeks flower to the day. Cant wait to dry and cure these flowers and report back on fragrance and taste. All around very happy with the seeds and strain. Would definately recommend for beginner growers and advanced alike.
