Hello there, is there someone who have already used the Advanced nutrients in order to give me some advice about the daily dosage, particularly upon autoflowering sativa strain? Moreover, with high room temperature (about 30° C) how often is it recommended to water daily? Thanks

Hello @Blinkin ! I have worked with AN at the past but no matter the company its the same principle. Its all about VPD. Let me explain. The higher the VPD is the higher the transpiration of the plant is and that means higher rates of water loss. When the plant loses water it drinks more and with that water it is also taking nutrients that are diluted in the water. At your case the VPD is at around 1.29 kPa while you should be ( ideally ) at 1-1.1 at this stage of growth. That is a difference of 17.273 % upwards, lets say 17%. Having that in mind you should reduce the EC of the fertilizers that you should normally use at this stage of growth by 17%. At this stage you should normally be at around 1.2 ms/cm and that value reduced by 17% is 0.996 ms/cm lets say 1 ms/cm. So at 1.1 ms/cm you are close to perfect. Any way a 17% difference is not big deal. The problems are starting at 25% _ 30% difference and as the difference raises they become more severe. You also need to give them more water. You are using coco with perlite, don't be afraid. Happy growing ! 👊

Day 7. Even this week it was too hot so I took off the humidifier from the growbox. I turned on one clip fan.

Day 28. The babies are growing but I'm worried because 5 of them have leaves slightly curled down and droopy. I guess I watered too much. As you can see those 5 remained small with very short internodes because there's no such temperature gap between day and night. At the moment I'm waiting for the soil to dry in order to water again and I let the box opened increasing the air recirculation. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance I add photo for day 32. After 4 days the plants seem don't grow but I can see that they are in a sort of preflowering stage. Many older leaves turn yellow and I had add water with nutrients yesterday but they stay until down. Can you help me please?

Hi @Blinkin! You named it --> overwatering. You must follow a dry/wet cycle for the roots to spread, searching for water. Each phase should be pretty quick, the medium should not be dry for too long neither than wet for too long. Now as a temporary solution, you can put a tiny fan blowing a slight continuous breeze on your containers (not on the plants). A simple rule to prevent this issue is to water with only 15-20% of your container's capacity, unless you need a big drain / unless you want to flush the medium. Using a 7L container, you should water with ~1L. Water less, more often, watch for the dry/wet cycle and you should be fine. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

Hey blinkin, the wet dry cycle for soil is super important to the health of the plants, basically what you're trying to do is water up between 20-30 % humidity and waiting until 15% before watering again. So what some folks do is use a hygrometer that you sort of plant in the pot. Others say the hygrometer is a poor way to tell if your plant needs water. These folks say stick your finger in about an inch and if it's dry then it's time to water. This method is somewhat prone to error. So the better thing to do is wait until they are dry, lift the grow bag and take a note of the weight, then water, and note the weight. So by lifting it up you are able to kind of "tell" if they need watering or not. You got this ! 🚀

Hello ! You'r right , droopy leaves is a sign of over wattering , especially if their is a gap between you day and night temps (3°C in your case is not really an issue). My advices are to put a fan is the box in front of the plants ( not too long to avoid wind burnt) the airlow will help to dry the soil faster and also to water less each time but more often. I hope it will help you 😁🙌

Hello everybody. Day 58. The plants seem to be fine, but I think that more than two weeks are needed till the harvest. I have always watered with water with 6 pH but I noticed that few of the most grown plants’ leaves are yellow with brown spots, as shown in the photos. I don’t know why, but the two plants in the rear seem to be a bit less developed than the three in first raw. Moreover, the back ones’ leaves get a claw shape after I water them even if I use the same mixture of water andare nutrients for all of them. Last question: should I keep on fertilizing them all? Please, any opinion or suggestion is welcome.

I have started with flush with plant 1 , 2 and 3. The plants number 4 and five need 10 days more. I will fertilize them (4,5) with 1000 EC. for few days more.

sorry for my absence for a long time. I am very happy with the final result, 130 grams of pure happiness. unfortunately at the moment I have only photos of the 50 grams that I have left. the result was more than satisfying and the taste and effects are devastating.
