So, begin a new report.
Setup:
320W LED light 18/6
Coco Mix by Bio Buzz (without buffering for the first pot)
30% of Perlit
Aero pot 1L
During germination, I chose the 2 most powerful seeds from 5, with a perfect result after the glass of water method and the first leaves are shown. The plants began fast and dynamically grows. This time I grow the 2 plants with the same strain. It's almost completely for the bubble hash and temple balls, except for a little part for joints. My main target is grow a lot of resin. Will see
Another one week, nothing specific, the plants grow well, plus 5cm in height and up size of leaves. 4th level shown. It means we’re near first transplantation and crop for main-lining schema.
The plants are healthy and shows wide leaves, will see a genetical way, but they are already beautiful
That was the week with a lot of surprises. The first I should say, last 2 weeks I was in a business trip and my friend control the plants state by my recommendations. Unfortunately I can’t research it by a photo completely.
Arrived to home I discovered my plants are hungry. This is first time I using coco in growing. I had a lot of experience in soil and hydroponics setups but coco’s is new for me. So, a little facts about state
1. Coco should be really buffered, not a little, during transplantation I metered a solution before and after buffering. And that was 1400 and 700 ppm difference! Coco just ate half of micro elements, incapsulate it and hide inner
2. It’s better to enable the light to max value as soon as possible. I set this to 70% before a trip and you can see in photos the plants a little toll and have big distances between a stages
3. Never water coco with a still water, it’s washes and depletes coco, a plants are hungry
However, you can see the plants captured space with a roots and were done to a transplantation. I buffered a new set of coco and did it used Great White micorrize. Day after the plants wake up of stress and continue growing.
Next few weeks will be about a stress. I should fast catch up state I need. I already see a 6th stage and will do a first crop in next 3 days. 5 weeks before start a flowering because I have plans in autumn and haven’t additional time to fix everything. Will see. Stay tuned
Day 2. Did the first crop
Day 3. Watered with a solution
The plants feels well, absolutely repaired after a crop, raising a new branches, normally green colour of a leaves for this phenotype. Few days before a second crop.
Hi there,
Another one week is done. I did 2nd crop and the plants already repaired. Watered with a solution in 2nd and 5th days of the week. I steel using half of manufacturer recommendations, because the plants shows healthy green colour and good pace. Looks like a zero stress.
But I have an idea to skip 3rd crop and try to grow based on 4 main branches this time, just for looking a difference, usually I’m on 8 branches set and right now wondering about a results.
The plants already shown roots in the bottom and side of the pots, so tomorrow will be a 2nd transplantation. Coco already in buffering and a new pots by FloraFlex ready to deploy. Stay tuned, see you next week
Go go go. The 2nd transplantation is done. A lot of roots at the bottom and a little less on the top. It means I should chose a smaller 2nd pot next time. Anyway, right now the plants in the 19l pots and feels good. No stress. Watered with 4l of solution next day.
3rd crop happend. Next weeks will be spent to raise the crones and make a ring of the branches
Watered with 4l of solution in the 6th day, after the crop the plants has a little stress (obviously) but shows stable pace and raise the branches a little. Everything well
See you next week, guys
As you can see the plant under fast repairing. Glad to see this pace. The new branches raising and I’m around a next step of building the crone. Guess I should do it next few weeks and next change light to begin a flowering.
Day 3. I finished the first step of routing the branches. Unfortunately I lost one of these. Like a classic for me to lost one of. However 15/16 steel alive and ok. Tomorrow will be watering
Day 4. Watered with 4l of solution
Day 7. Continue spread the branches. The plants became powerful, drinks a lot. Till this week I water these 3 times per week using 4l of solution per plant. So, today watered again. Next week will be about set up a ring to finish the crone form before a flowering
Day 2. Watered with 4l of solution. And only 0.5 litres out from the bottom. It means the roots already done to begin a flowering. Also a ring has been built and a branches placed. 1-2 weeks before flowering
Day 5. Watered with 4l of solution. This is the last vegetation week. Since next one begin a flowering, mesh a net and control branches positions
So, begin flowering :)
Watered with 4l of solution in 1st, 4th, and 7th days. Right now the only one task is make branches positions using a net. At start of flowering I made defoliation and removed all bottom leaves. It’s a bit paused raising, but it’s better do it now instead of active bloom phase
The girls have nice pace, watered in 2nd day with a new solution. Still 4l litres per plant. What about 25cm in 4 days?!) Exactly, hope it stop soon
Watering still 3 times per week. And we finish this week in 72cm height
I don’t know what write to you, guys. Everything without deviation, like a really boring and efficient growing in one time. See you soon
A little boring time, nothing bad, everything well. The plants in flowering. Begin to lose first bottom leaves without a light. Drinking measuredly and show stable pace.
Another one boring week :) The flowers grows and up their size. I see every how to plants generate resin and prepare to a flowers size boost. This strain absolutely without any troubles. Looks like ideal to grow without experience, but l say it second time, boring. Almost no control, no actions. Just watering and observe. I’m and half time of flowering and now just wait next 4 weeks. 3 of this to continue growing and 1 to flush. Stay tuned.
And… another one :)
The plants active produce a resin, eat measuredly and still don’t show any troubles. Also, continues drop the bottom leaves and preparing to end of lifecycle. Everything good, everything calm. This time I use only half of nutrients manufacturer recommendations and the plants react extremely positive. Stay tuned, we will see a results of this growing soon
So, the last one week before decrease a nutrients. Nothing interesting, but we’re at the end of the process. I add overdrive to a solution and continue watering each plant with 4l of solution every 2 days. Looks that’s steel enough. Next one week will be about last step before start flushing and prepare to close the cycle. The plants already show red hairs and send the signal to be ready to harvest them soon.
Also, you can see at the photos that one plant has one like per cole and classical heads. But second one shows 3-4-5 flowers on each head, one strain, one box and seeds from a one package. But different behaviour and form of flowers
So, this week was about decrease the nutrients in the solution and prepare to flush. The last one week before harvest. Everything done. A lot of red hairs, resin, good size of heads.
I did additional fixation for the branches because these can’t hold heavy heads already and to to bend to the tent sides and touch’s it. It’s really to heavy and I add about 10 lines of fixation.
The last one week of flowering was done 2 days earlier. Few head has been attacked by mold. This is price of big heads and flowers. So, I extremely fast begin collection to avoid a crash of entire harvest. Everything ok, but next 5 days will be about fighting with probably mold somewhere.
Step 1. The first step of the harvest report. Stay tuned
Step 2. After about one week I wanna tell you about the details. So, first of all, when I discovered my plants has been attacked by mold I forced the harvest few days before a planned date. Next I dry it with a branches to a well condition and separate these second time. Place it separately in horizontal container and observe about mold behavior. Honestly, it’s already looked like stopped spreading but anyway, avoid useless risks. Few days after I decided to begin the leaves removing with finding all signs of a mold. And right now it’s done. 2x jars of 3 litres going to curing for a hash and will be in this state next 3 months. 2 containers of 1.5 litres this is clean of mold big heads for a joints. And one little 0.5 container is attacked flowers, place it separately and will observe with additional attention. If everything will be ok, use it for a hash with removing attacked parts before. If not… so, to a trash.
I didn’t weight it yet. But by the volume looks like about 500g. First smoke will be after 2 weeks. Stay tuned and care your plants. I spent about 6 hours additional job to being sure my harvest not a garbage
Step 3. Post harvest activities. Analyze roots and making tips for a future. Guess I can let my plants live in vegetation another one week. Also, this time I didn’t defóliate a bottom leaves and small branches. Because of this main heads was a little smaller than usual. Overall the roots are well grew and filled all pot. But it can be good, I saw on previous growing.
that was a good journal! i also want to start growing with coco. do you have any advice what fertilizer i should buy based on your experience? there are so many products and im not sure. do i need sensi grow coco or is the normal fine too? what additives are good and make the real difference? when you could start over, what would you buy? maybe u can share some info, that would save me a lot of trouble. Thanks for sharing the grow!
@Seedler, first, thanks for read :) Also, right now I use must stable set of my experience and you can just buy it, that’s enough to easy and happy growing. As additional I can recommend Bio Buzz Leaf Coat to protect your plants. For a coco always use special fertilizer. These contains more nutrients, because steel water washing your coco and it can be poor. Always water your plants only with solution, never just water. And read about coco buffering before begin a growing. Usually it’s about 10 minutes reading but contains a ton of useful information
